    You definitely don't need to use that much. I use a cpl tablespoons sprinkled into the hole and thats it. Putting on the root ball is a good idea as well but man did you waste a ton of it.

    Hi! 20-20-20 is a very concentrated chemical fertilizer that increases soil salinity. Don't you have to use pure water for 2-3 days to let the Mycorrhiza establish?

    Not sure I understand the "ruff up the roots" recommendation. Handling the roots like that is a good way to increase your chances of transplant shock in my experience.

      Yep. Been transplanting for a few years and only one time I roughed up the roots I got transplant shock.

      I believe you're not really supposed to be harming the roots but loosening them up and helping them to escape the form they ended up in from to their previous container.

      In nature plants go through all kinds of shock, it’s good for them in the long run. If you can’t maintain in the meantime then don’t do it

      Yeah that was a bit odd because that plant was definitely not root bound at all so it could have gone right in AOK.

      Yes even foxfarms happy frog has this in its potting soil and perfect for seeds. its not fertilizer so it wont burn them.
