Love from Greece... 🇬🇷🇬🇷 Ghost Story wasn't available in Greek bookshops for over 30 years. Finally less than a year ago was republished and immediately became a best seller. It took me months to finish it because it's huge and the story continues at a low tempo BUT when I finally finished it I had a strong felling that I had just read one of the best books in my entire life.
Great video! Ghost Story is a very slow burn, difficult read. I do remember, however, that it picks up pace and the ending has a great payoff. This was in my teens, I tried to re-read it last year and DNF. No One Rides For Free sounds awesome! It is on my kindle and I will read it soon based on your... or rather your wife's recommendation. I think Everything's Eventual is a very solid collection, I loved The Man in the Black Suit.
I dnf Ghost Story a couple of times over the years and kind of avoided it because I hated the movie, but 2023 was the year I finally read it. Ghost Story is my favorite read of the year. I also read Koko for the first time this year. I liked it but I didn't love. I guess I read Ghost Story at the right time in my life. Hopefully a few years in the future will be the time for you.
I’ve been wanting to read Black Sheep for a while! Never read a Rachel Harrison! I’ve just started The Talisman for the first time and am enjoying it so far.
I had a good time with The Talisman earlier this year so I hope you like it. Rachel Harrison has been great the 2 times I read her so I highly recommend, I'm going to try and read Cackle by her next.
Hello!!! Recently read Nestlings and Loved it! I always feel odd saying i like to read extreme horror Oh what a ride No one rides for free was! I have to be in a right frame of mind to read extreme horror that's for sure.
Hey, its been awhile since I talked to you! I think Nestlings is a book Danielle has been talking about a lot, I'm not too familiar with it but I'll definitely check it out. I think Danielle is more cut out for extreme horror than me I guess haha
I love how you did your absolute best to keep the extreme horror review clean for like 95% of it, and then it just went to “dick dick dick dick this dick that” 😂 yeah I think I’ll skip that one. You’re way ahead of me. I’m still trying to finish one book, Wolves of the Calla. But I’m almost there. Great reviews as always!

This is the book ,Ghost Story, that made SKing want to write a book together.

After the extreme horror book, I thought you were going to hold up “Snow White” 😂
Great to see you been a while 😊😊
Hey Zack! Congratulations! Gotta take care of family first. But glad you are back!
Ghost Story is the closest thing to a SKing book

I hope so too, it's a book I genuinely want to read a lot but I just can't get through it. I'll give it a try again in a couple years for sure

Julia by Straub is good. I didn't care for Ghost story either and I absolutely hated the movie.
I'll have to look into that one, I'm not too familiar with it, thanks!
@ZacksBooks It's one of his early books, if not his first book, not sure but it's an older one. I think Danielle would like it.
