Unlike some of the other comments, I've found the first 10mins the hardest part of every game - the lane stability is so odd coming from Dota, but starting to make a bit more sense now.
Watch my midgame guide, it might help with that. In terms of actually csing it's really just aim/positioning in the lane phase and attention to waves in mid-late game
Came across this today to try and get a better idea of how the flow of this game is and this was beyond insightful. Thanks for sharing this info and offering in-depth analysis. I feel like so few do that and just say "Do this. Do that". o7
Would love a video actually going over some of the more universally useful items (Healing Rite, etc) and the situations you want to buy them in. Alternatively, going over some of the categories of items for various situations. For example, "here's stuff you can buy if you're dying a ton to bullet dmg", "here are items you can buy if you fall behind in lane", etc. Obviously each hero has unique wants and needs, but a more general overview like this can be good to help the huge wall of items be easier to understand for new players.
Hey, thanks for the suggestion! I'm currently working on the item builds video, as soon as I upload that I'll make a video describing what to look for in the mid-late game after laning phase is over.
Same. Thats like my biggest problem. I come from being pretty good at league and its much easier in league to have impact on the map while still being high in cs which is really hard in deadlock for some reason. Also problem i have with deadlock is the fact that turrets feel kind of useless and give you false sense of security when in reality its really easy to kill someone under it. But going back to main subject i just wonder how to have high efficiency roams with not losing that much gold.
Yoo btw. If you have this texture dragging bug in the replay (if its the same replay system as in dota, which i assume)... It happens when you pause and then jump forwards or backwards in the replay. You can fix it by jumping forwards or backwards in the rplay without having it paused. :)
This video was dope bro. But tbh I find myself consistently winning lane but after 10-15 minutes I notice that I start to fall behind in farm. Even when I've been in situations where I'm up like 5-1 kills on the enemy I notice the transition into the mid-late game I fall behind in souls and just start dealing no damage... I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Can you make a video on how to be a like a fucking power farmer so I can just be Thanos from start to end.
You dont need to power farm, you need to incorperate farming while on the go. When taking your lead ariund the map, take all camps and boxes along the way.
I get this concept from league but it might be useful: If you are strong in the first lane, as soon as it entenrs this mid game phase, go solo to a sideline and play a split push. Get a little distance between you and your team and absorve pressure while farming solo. Stay focused so you can predict when they are coming for you and gtfo. Normally, they will come in 2 or 3 ppl, so this makes your team a lot stronger on the opposite side of the map (Exmp: You are pushing top and your team pushing bot) Keep doing this while collecting resources and absorving pressure. So far this strat worked really well on Yamato.
Thanks for the tip brother, but it takes a really long time and unfortunately I'm just not good enough of an editor, but I'll definitely try my best to cut them out for the future
Try to get out of lane matchups that you think you lose. For example, if you play Vindicta, try to lane against someone like an Abrams, instead of a Grey Talon, since he can easily poke you and kind of counters your flying ability since his 1 damage is really good. If the lane is a skill check most of the time, then just work on your fight mechanics like punching, parrying, your aim, and your utility usage and positioning.
@@AVALONXIX moba knowledge is not important, you learn the basics in 10 games, I have thousands of hours in dota, and I get facefucked by the dumbest csgo players because of the aim difference, aim will get you a lot further than moba knowledge

@@JinxedJK Hey sorry bro I completely blanked on the “how” part of your question! My bad on that. Yeah basically it’s just a dash jump into another jump but since I did it off of a “ledge” it kept my forward momentum and carried me a little more towards the enemies as I ulted. Dash->Jump->Jump->Ult The dash jump does require a precise timing and if you do it too early or late it won’t go off, but it isn’t that hard just requires some practice to get it!
are the lanes randomly chosen? i got a solo lane as firsttimer against a pokechamp that killed me 15 times in 5 minutes or so i prefere not to play solo lanes as a newbie, is there a way to do that?
Hey, yeah the lanes are randomly chosen. You can ask someone to lane swap using voice comms/typing at the start of the game but obviously it depends on if they're nice about it or not haha
Just as a note with this if you didn't notice you can immediately see what lane your in by the colour behind your character portrait at the top. Look for someone who is duo Laning and ask if they're cool to switch. It's a team game so likely people will want to set you up for success
good info but I'd prefer a bit more preperation on your commentary sometimes so you don't have to go in and add text later since its hard to listen & read at the same time
I'm making a movement guide atm, I'll upload it in a few days, but it's basically dashing then jumping at a certain timing then dashing again. The game recognizes it as a mechanic, it's called a dash jump
i try to farm lanes as much as i can before i buy stuff, if i win battles in a lane with zero purchases im going to save up my souls till the enemy decides to put up stronger resistance
