Tom Hardy. Wow. We already miss real acting. I don't know any young actors. But I know that Tom will not disappoint. Talented actor. I'm looking forward to it. 👍👍👍
I watched the reviews after watching it at the festival in London and interviewing Jeff Nichols. Everyone is fascinated by Tom Hardy's performance. I'm looking forward to it. 🔥👍
Comment below deleted my positive rave about Austin Butler in anything, and how he saved 2022 Elvis from the uneven sometimes cartoonish performance of Tom Hanks who might still have been suffering Covid+ or other ill effects during production in Australia. Actually I always need an edit button and did this to myself! But the point is that The Bikeriders looks like a great time coming to the theaters. Look forward to it --- expect to see it more than once.
😂😂 True. I loved the ‘Elvis’ move, although Hanks as the larger than life Colonel did very much take some getting used to. It was quite the pantomime villain at first, but within the context of the rest to the film it worked for me in the end.
@@PopularTripeNick Thanks for that input. Hanks as Col. becomes less objectionable the more times I view the film, so maybe after additional viewings on Max, it'll work for me too. 2022 Elvis at this point is great background for when I'm doing other things in the kitchen or playing with the cat. But when young pink-suited Elvis for the first time on stage swings his head back, "Welllllll," to start the "what are they hollering at?/they want to see you wiggle" scene, it's always fresh.
Looks good...my dad was a Harley Davidson guy - he had one back in 1951 when he met my mom and he used to take me and my brother on rides on it which thrilled and terrified us as we were really young. Back in the days when helmets were not used. I still love guys on any bikes!
I will be watching this because Austin bulter the time of Elvis movie l like your comments the most out all youtubers like me you were impressed by Austin bulter performance AB can do anything is very talented and he will be great in this movie too greetings from Nederlands
TH was amazing in parts of his performance, so perhaps the director's plan was to have TH capture the historicity of "Col." Parker's reputation for personality inconsistency. It didn't really work in the overall film, and AB saved the day along with the rest of the supporting cast of Elvis. Tom Hardy as the other TH is always compelling, and in trailer for The Bikeriders too --- catch him for an understated stellar performance in The Drop if you can. Currently I'm watching Jodie Comer in Killing Eve (on Max as is 2022 Elvis). She's fabulously talented too, hits all the right notes with an excellent cast in what is an implausiblty written spy-show premise. She's gorgeous but doesn't spark the temporary romantic fantasies that a handsome male movie star like AB will do for a straight woman. (Nice we can still have some hot male leads that choose women as sexual partners given today's culture, tbh. Not that I begrudge people their preferences in real life. Film fantasy is its own species of experience, constrained to a particular time and space.) JC's accent in Bikeriders sounds great from the trailer, and her face expresses more than words ever say (as true for AB too). Watching them together in a film will be joy. Nichols' filmography is powerful (especially enjoyed Loving, Midnight Special and Take Shelter). Michael Shannon was in 2 of those 3 and always adds to any film as he does to The Bikeriders. All around, we're in for a treat when this film drops in theaters.
Ah yes, have seen ‘The Drop’ with the late, great James Gandolfini. Really enjoyed it. Killing Eve is great. Season one is definitely the best, Comer chews the screen and owns every scene she’s in. I remember liking season 2 also, although things start to get a bit sillier and then I think I began to lose interest somewhat by the time the third season rolled around. Based on how good I though ‘Take Shelter’ and ‘Midnight Special’ were, I will have to take a look at ‘Loving’ at some point. Very much looking forward to ‘The Bikeriders’!
Will show who are the real Austin Butler fans ! This film will not be for the faint of heart or the goody two shoe film fans ! Remember it’s a film ! Can’t wait to see Austin spread his talented wings along w Jody comer , Tom Hardy & others . Jeff Nichols talented director ! Excited for Dec 1. 😊 6:20 6:20
@@donnakomarc6677 So true! Enjoy the AB fandom --- people who appreciate stratospheric talent wrapped in a gorgeous yet big-hearted package. Bikeriders looks gritty enough to draw a new AB audience of tough guys as well. Then word of mouth. Also we'll have Feyd Rautha --- sexy bald psychopathic Mick Jagger energy --- and aviator MotA. Hope Sony either negotiates SAG/WGA deals w/o AMPTP or AMPTP fairly ends strike so we can get AB as Danny Ryan in CoF. (Apple's CoF series from a different author was canceled last mo.). Also rumored AB and Colin Ferrell were in pre-strike talks for Danny Boyle's Antartica, AB to play American Colin O'Brady and CF as British Louis Rudd, in a world record 2018 dueling race to pass the S. Pole and cross all of Antarctica skiing (and packing/sledding solo) with no support or assistance over 940 mi. & 10 wks.(the "impossible first"). Only 2 others had tried this, both in the 2 prior yrs. --- 1 quit after 52 days. The other died. This film won't include lovable heroic sleddogs like Togo to watch, but the 2 male leads! ❤️❤️
P.S. Needing that edit button again, I recall that Michael Shannon played the photographer in the Nichols film Loving, so 3 for 3. It was a small role and I really disliked the photographic results of what he did to the couple, so it was good acting even if I didn't like the character.
@@PopularTripeNick 100% agree. If he hadn't been the villain in The Shape of Water, imo it would never have won the Best Picture Oscar or become one of my faves of all time.
@@PopularTripeNick All good man. It started out as a club and it is still a club. I am from Illinois and I support that club 100%. Don't let the media trick. Actually the best way to find out about them is to hang out with them. It's all about biking and brotherhood. 🤙🏽🤙🏽
I can't wait to see this movie, I have missed Austin so much . He looks so unbelievably handsome in it. Love him so much ❤❤❤
Tom Hardy. Wow. We already miss real acting. I don't know any young actors. But I know that Tom will not disappoint. Talented actor. I'm looking forward to it. 👍👍👍
I saw the Dallas prescreening in May…can attest that you will quickly get used to Tom Hardy’s accent. It’s an amazing movie
Well now I’m jealous! 😂 Yes, looking forward to this one!

Tom Hardy sound like Marlon Brando in ''The Wild One''.And that's great. This will probably be a tribute to Marlon Brando.
Really looking forward to this movie. Especially since Austin Butler is in the movie. Love his acting and great looks.

Thank you! It seems Austin’s star continues to rise. He looks to be great in this!
I can't wait to see bike riders and I'm sure Austin Butler will blow us away like he did with Elvis again i can't wait.
I love your accent, what accent is that?
Ha, thank you 🙏 it’s British (or at least some form of it 😂)

Shannon hasn’t been bad in a role yet, even if his characters are not always likeable.

You should rephrase what you said in the beginning. It's a biker CLUB, not a gang MC is Motorcycle Club. Thanks man
My bad. My understanding was it started as a club then turned into something else further down the line. Didn’t mean to offend. 👊
