The swing story reminded me of something: Here in Finland, the sun barely sets during Midsummer Eve, and it's sort of a magical experience to walk around in the middle of the night with the sun still out. I want to preface this that I'm not overly superstitious, but what happened was very strange. This took place on that night 2013: My fiancé (now husband) and I were on a walk around midnight, and we walked through a big playground. Not a single person in sight, and not even a hint of a gust of wind. When we passed the swings on the playground, we saw that they were swinging a bit. I got intrigued, since like I said, I hadn't seen anyone near. However, when I walked closer, the swings started picking up speed, without any gust of wind. My fiancé was pretty freaked out by this and told me to back away. I still wanted to investigate, so I started videotaping the swings on my phone. I had taken some photos during our walk before this, and I decided to upload the media to my hard drive on my computer when we got back. All the photos prior to this incident got transferred, but not a single one of the videos I took were to be found. And I was 110% sure I filmed the swing incident, because on our way home I actually reviewed the footage on my phone. Mysteriously, the footage was now gone even on my phone. I guess I'll never get an explanation to what happened. Midsummer Eve sure is a mysterious night.
I was told by a psychiatrist that aural hallucinations are normal and natural, and nothing to worry about. In my case, I would hear my Dad, or his brother, call out my name in a loud voice, waking me from a bad dream, and a sound sleep. It takes maybe a half hour to calm down, but now I know, it's the brain's self defense mechanism. I still get them from time to time, but at least I now know what they are.
About 12 years ago I went to see "Puppet Up" by myself. It's a puppet show for adults, you can probably Google it. Anyway, it was late and dark by the time the show ended. I was in Austin at the time. I had to walk to the bus stop and passed a dark alley, which I glanced down. 3 people were in the alley, with puppets, reenacting the show, I guess. In the dark. I walked as fast as I could to the bus stop, glad to be on a well travelled road!

*For the last story, I would change houses and check the camrecorder to see what filmed when it was lost or throw it away and buy a new one or hire detectives and get some fingerprints on the cam cause NO WAY, IT WOULD RECORD LIKE THAT IF IT WAS MISSING.*

My maternal grandmother passed away in 2017. She was living in a nursing home since she had Alzheimer's disease. Around 4 am when the night shift nurse had checked on her, she was still alive. The next time they went in the room, she had already passed. My mom got the information about her passing after 7 am that morning and the nurses couldn't tell her the actual time of death. That morning when my grandma passed, my uncle's alarm clock went off at 5:47. He had never set himself an alarm at 5:47 that morning. My mom and her siblings are almost 100% certain that was the time my grandma passed away that morning. My uncle was genuinely freaked out about that though.
First story was more of a whiplash rather than creepy lol
The OP that was ill....it is not so uncommen to have hallucinations like this, while being ill, especially while having a high fever or shortly afterwards. When I was a small kid, I was ill very often and always with very high fever (high enough that the ambulance was called at some times) . It was mostly my grandma who then cared for me. She knew my fever was on a high point when I started to cry that the walls bend down on me. We were later talking about this, when I was a teenager and I remember her saying she always knew, when I was saying this, that it was time to call for help. Never experienced it as an adult until March 2020 when Corona hit for the first time. My temperatur was over 40 and my poor husband who was ill as well had to give me medicin and make cold leg compresses for me to get the fever down. The difference to being a kid is, that I was very well aware of what happened and what it meant. And my hubby told me, that I was crying for my grandma in my sleep.

I got one: I was like 15 back then when it happened. I used to be pretty scared of the dark...like crying and panicky type of scared. So, That period everybody knew I was scared of the dark, and Also I have a sight that can see spirits and shit.. not the combo that someone would be thrilled about. So, My bed was broken because I used it since childhood and it became rusty, so I slept on the floor on a matterss. So, it was like maybe 3 in the morning and the light went out, power cut types, it happens a lot in our area and it was not that out of ordinary but as i said i was afraid of the dark my eyes opened almost immediately. I saw my room was pitch black and I sat up, trying not to cry, waiting for my father to bring a flash light as he always does if the power goes off. So, when i sat up.. again it was PITCH BLACK, nothing can be seen without a light, even our neighbors emergency light was off, Literally Nothing was seen... A few meters away from me was a door to my hall room, left hand side. My eyes fell on to that direction but i was keeping my head down because i was scared obviously, i was looking thru my lashes you can say.. There was something standing there, looking at me. It was WHITE. pure white. As i said it was pitch black, I was not able to see anything, I saw that, Literally started praying for whatever that was to go away, covered my eyes with my hands not wanting to look at it, started hyperventilating, i can still see the while thing right there, standing. I can only see the lower part of it because i was not brave enough to look up lol clearly not wanting to get possessed and shit. Then I closed my eyes tightly, I heard my dad's voice, he bought the flash light, when it fell on my face, dad got concerned, said its okay, i bought the flash light, You can go back to sleep. I dont know why but my voice was like...too far gone. I didnt say anything, looked at him for awhile as he was arranging the flash light on my study table. My heart was racing, my hands and my forehead were sweaty, I was shaking, but because it happens when I'm scared and alone in the dark, I father didn't think anything else, just a child scared of the dark. Im almost 22 now, didn't see anything after that, I became more religious, I'm hyper aware of my surroundings, even tho im not scared of the dark anymore but.. i feel uneasy every time I'm alone in the house or the light's go out. Its like im being watched, i hear steps.. I hear things but Idk. I did talk to my parents about it, especially my mum as she is alone most of the time as my father goes away for business to other countries, me and my brother have college.. Asked whether she heard or saw anything, she said somtimes she felt like an old man or women is walking with her or his stick or someone just stomped their foot on terrace, its audible if someone is walking or running downstairs. So... Yeah Thats that.
I have a great story for this one. My mom's fiance was around 8 years old and woke up one night to an imp basically a type of elf Green skin and it had a huge creepy smile and it said I know what you want. In a creepy raspy voice. He closed his eyes and then opened them again and it was gone. Just like that. My mom's fiance has a ton of cryptid stories. A lot of them are about dog man. Basically a half dog and half man. He's a huge believer in the paranormal as well and has seen spirits before. he's seen dog man with his own eyes it was right outside his bedroom window. Again when he was younger. He as an adult has seen a lot of spirits before so yeah it's crazy. I was a huge believer in the paranormal before I even met him and his stories blow my mind

I had a visual hallucination one time after taking some pain meds (first day after a surgery). I thought I saw a spider the size of a dinner plate on my bedroom wall. That certainly brought me out of my slumber! After a moment I realized I was hallucinating due to the pain meds, but for a few seconds, there was a moment of panic. LOL!

the person in the camcorder story seriously needs to check the footage to see if someone didn't start recording it while it was missing, because it seems like someone else was using it during that time. also, if they do find anything on there, then they need to turn that footage over to the police and then buy a new camcorder just to be safe.

The last one is the creepiest
On Christmas Day in 2018 my mom bought me my very first credit card, and I put to the said once I had thanked her because I had others gifts to open. I got lost in the excitement of all of my gifts that I completely misplaced my credit card, and both me, my mom, and my brother were searching like cray trying to find it. Come to find out it was sitting right next to me with a piece of paper on top of it.
