1. A wife is a helper to her husband (Genesis 2:18) (which doesn't mean the wife is inferior).
2. Submit to your husband as to the Lord (men likewise need to submit to their wives) (Ephesians 5:21-22)

2. Be submitted to your husband - be submitted to one another in the fear (awe & reverence) of God. The wife is the key to the husband’s fulfillment of his role
3. Be supportive - he is the head, the human head can’t hold itself up & as the head your husband needs your support
4. Be encouraging - fulfill the role of the Holy Spirit
5. Be an interceder - persistently & faithfully thank God for your husband & pray for him

You can pray for your husband now! God knows who he is. He might be going through something terrible, he may not be a believer yet. He needs your prayers.

I would just like to say thank you whoever uploaded this yesterday. I showed my wife before bed & I don't think she was really listening. We went to prayer this morning & I had a really hard time trying to focus & ended up feeling really anxious. My friend from church called about an hour ago to see how we were doing & we discussed a few things that have been happening to us recently. He said he had a video he would like us to watch & sent me the link. This is the video he sent me, if you hadn't already guessed. We watched it again just now & my wife listened properly this time. @@jazzg4685 Nothing. According to Scripture, God desires it for us both so we'll be blessed and so we're able to be a blessing to others.
There's a problem is only when people pursue it for selfish gain or other wrong motives instead of seeking a relationship with God first with all their hearts.
But I'll admit I used to see prosperity as a negative thing, like covetousness, because of the way it was preached about as being necessarily a selfish pursuit. I've realized over the years that's not what Scripture says at all! I had accepted people's opinions instead of examining what Scripture actually says.
That statement is foolish there is not one parent (Good Parent) that wants their children or child to be poor and without good things ! You obviously don't know the Word of God Or The Fathers Heart concerning His Children ! That's not humility that's stupidity . Faithful are the wounds of a friend.

It is never late for God. He is still a miracle worker. Sometimes it seems late for us, but it is never late for Him. Many times He allows difficulties and trials in our lives to make us better, and to mold us into the image of Christ. Marriage is sacred to Him and He hates divorce, so if you stand in the gap for your husband and marriage, He will stand with you and help you through, because marriage is supposed to bring glory to His Holy Name.

I love the unbelieiving husband scripture and unbelieiving children, how belieiving wife makes husband holy and he makes her holy as well as the children! Marriage is to make us holy 😎 There is no way I would be as peaceful or healed if I hadn't had all the triggers from husband. Now am asking the Lord to save him as is difficult to be on different planets. Christian persecution in the home is hard but I have the Lord with me and Holy Spirit inside He gives me strength. Something else i remember is what David Wilkerson said in his book The Vision, that a wife should álways honour her husband even if he leads the family in the wrong way then the Lord would bring them back.

Derek Married an Old Woman when he was young, her name was Lydia. She was died of Old age. Derek submitted God to lead a celibate life but in the due time God clearly talked him with a vision to marry Ruth, he was 63 then.
@@jerabraham Again his first marriage to.old woman was as per God's leading. His success in ministry was he allowed God to be his match maker. We can see this in 1 Kings and 2 Kings where role of mother is mentioned specifically saying the king's mother was so and so. Bottom line- obey God.

My husband hates me and has alot of unforgiveness towards me. Everytime he drinks I hear how much he hates me. How should we honour a verbal abusive man?
A friend and I were in WalMart. The store was full of shoppers back to back which turned into a brawl in a second. It was an eruption of hate and anger. Was like a mosh pit that began with one note of music, suddenly everyone wanted to hurt everyone else. Someone came up to my friend and stabbed him in the chest for no reason. I hustled through the paranoia to my car. As I hustled I saw a friend and he asked where my other friend was and I said "He's Dead!". "Dead!" he yelled. After leaving WalMart I found my car parked in an odd way. I had to go through city streets to get to a highway. I was 9 hours away from Arlington Texas and I knew it would be an all nighter drive wise. The city streets were full of traffic and walkers as cars built up on the busy road. It was dark, wet, hot and humid and street lights illuminated the night scene.
At a stoplight a walker stuck his head in my rear window and said "Gimme a ride to 7th street". The whole time he was checking out what I had in my backseat with his head in my car. In anxiety and frustration I tried to lock the back door and roll up the window as he rolled the window down. I told him I couldn't give him a ride and he said "Well give me that blower then" that was in my backseat. He took the blower out of the rear window. I was stopped at a stop light now and he was trying to enter my car. I put the car in reverse, slammed the gas and hit him and he was down. I looked and saw him lying on the black top. After I saw him down I saw the blower a ways ahead of the car. In a panic I thought of picking up the blower but instead of him having it I ran it over with the car. When I hit the plastic blower it shattered into pieces with a bang. Little pieces went everywhere.
The light turned green and I took off. The next light was red and I had to wait to turn to get to the highway. In anxious anxiety I thought of him coming to where I was stopped. The left turn only signal ticked in yellow as I waited. Every nervous second, tick, tick seemed like an eternity. Then I woke up! It was so real! It bothered me so much that it was hard to go back to sleep. We are near!!! Don't give up.
Incredible dream! I recommend turning the tv off. Tv is a weapon. See what it does to you and see how it mind controls?
First the rapture will come, then the Antichrist will rule the world bringing “peace” after a few years of peace there will be so much pain and agony (prosecution)worse then what your eyes are seeing right now. If you can’t handle a dream right now, then its time to dust off that bible and begin to OBEY everything that’s on that book word by word. Every one likes to ask, why if God exists, why is he not coming and ending all this pain, it’s a simple reason, he is a God of patience, most of us are not wholly prepared and he’s being generous to giving us time to make everything according to his word. Turn off your tv, turn off your cellphone , turn off everything that’s a distraction from you, including your brain if you have to! How? Easy, study the Bible day and night and you will see that your mind won’t be free of thinking whatever it wants! the enemy comes in different forms to distract us from the main focus which is Jesus. If you’re already saved, don’t listen to the enemy saying that you’ve got your ticket to heaven, nope! God left all his instructions, I honestly don’t want to come back to earth for the tribulations, I want to stay in heaven drinking a coconut water while sitting on a cloud ⛅️ during all that happens here on earth 🌍 okay well God bless and please seek complete salvation because God himself said he wants us hot in the spirit not cold and he will spit out a lukewarm Christian, we already know what that means 😱

Hello. The Bible does not say we are unequal to our husbands. 1 Corinthians Ch 12:12-30 explains that we are all one in the body of Christ, and every part is important for certain roles. A husband and wife relationship is not a dictatorship. In Ephesians Ch 5 it talks about the different roles for husbands and wives. You will notice in v.21 it says "Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ" then the following verses say for wives to submit to their husbands as to the Lord. The husbands submit to Christ. It also states that husbands should love their wives as Christ loved the church. This is a holy and sacrificial safe love they are called to do. The husband is the leader of the home but that doesn't mean leaders don't ask for direction from council right? Of course your input for your family is valuable and should be heard. Also the leader is responsible for the choices made. I hope that explains what the Bible means more clearly.

Look on his channel and find what the husbands should be doing.... God intends for both to give 100% ... 50 % is still just 50.... Its a partnership with both having hard and great roles. If you believe what psycologist say you'll end up in divorce 90% of the time.
Ask God to help you understand it. Salvation is the best way to understand scripture. Its like a supernatural understanding we cant explain.

Lily as painful as it might be let me tell you why you should I want to tell you a story, this is a true story that my dad told me about a married couple always fought were angry with eachother almost had a hate for eachother he beat her all the time they fought it was a horrible relationship until she decided to get saved she went to church but was never saved, when she did het saved and gave her life to the lord she changed and started submitting, as she did she would cook for him, show him love care for him everyday even through many things and abuse and he noticed this, he would come home drunk and would make a mess everywhere on the clean sheets and carpet when he came home and layed down he would throw up on the sheets and floor and she would clean him up change him clean everything up and give him water and she did this for some time over and over and he noticed and did it on purpose to see if she would still do it and she did, abuse got less he noticed and asked her what she did what happened to her and she explained how she got saved so he decided he wanted to get saved and live for the lord to and when he did he stopped many things didnt beat her they didnt have the same issues and everything changed, so she asked him to rebuild there stove(this was back in Soviet times in russia) and the stoves they had were ALOT of work to build and redo so he redid it and after a 2-3 weeks it was done and she didnt like it and asked him to redo it and he did and this went on for so long about 14 times he redid the stove and labored so hard for it she got sick of asking him to redo it because eventually she would have to help him and the kitchen was always dirty she was doing it as a test because of what she did for him for so long he stopped drinking stopped many things and they're relationship was restored by the grace of god all because the women held the key and she submitted and he did the same, I recommended you fast because it has helped alot of people and marriages

Submission comes first before the husband starts loving you. And husband loving you is not emotional love where he listens to you to fulfill your every whimp and selfish desires. Its not a "happy wife happy life" situation like modern day Christian feminists and egalitarian thinks. It is not. So assuming they all got into heaven, which wife did he reunite with? All of them? Or does the first one always come out on top and the rest end up solitary? Just asking because certain religions believe that marriage “seals” the two people together in heaven, etc., which discourages people who have never married from marrying a divorcee or widow/er.

There is no marriage in heaven. And no one should marry a divorcee, because Jesus calls it adultery and the Bible says adulterers won't inherit the Kingdom. A widow/er yes, if it is in the Lord, as Paul says in 1st Corinthians 7, but everyone should be discouraged when it comes to a divorcee with his/her wife/husband still alive, because they would be commiting adultery and that would put at risk their salvation.

in today's environment filled with feminism, RedPill, gender war, i had to come to Dereck for advice. I honestly think women have it quite difficult but their discontent is making in much worse. I wish all women who read this find a man, a husband but listen to God, remember you are to help a husband, not to be a queen, men are leaving marriages at exponential rate and there are some bab bad female teachers who are indoctrinating women in how to be strong and powerful and independent but that leads to misery and loneliness because you are supposed to help a man. most "christian" women today (those who are involved in a church anyway) take no notice of such teaching. they consider themselves in charge and they are the head of the house and the husband is simply there to support what she thinks and what she wants. Whilst that is wrong, its the way it is in many parts of the UK today and has been for over 30 years!
I agree. Also, there are many Christian men that are struggling with Narcissistic Disorder as well. Both are failing. Don’t try to be devisive with your stance on women.
