I love the concept, BUT the challenge we all want to see if the NO trade on any settlement, domination challenge. This would really promote faster expansion, and specialized settlements! Love the videos man.
Apollo I've seen that if you have a house that has a large plot and you make it so they grow vegetables they produce alot of them versus just the small plots

Was about to say "how about solely relying on trading?", but then I remembered this game doesn't have the mechanics where the prices can change depending on various factors yet, as well as the mechanics of a middle-party of a supply chain.
Oh, how about conquering the whole map in a set number of years? Sounds pretty solid to me.
The dev said he's going to explore variable supply/demand pricing to nerf some trade cheesing. It was before release, so it might be there already.

I'd like to see a "We're no plebs"-challange. 😛 After the initial start, once you can build artisans, you have to destroy all gathering buildings, farms and resource collecting, and solely rely on trade and industry to grow your town. You can import the resources, but only the ones you can't trade are allowed to gather yourself
Manor Lords is such a unique game. I love it 🙂
Maybe a good challenge would be extreme difficultly on the amount of raids?, and make a large town?
My first playthrough just ended with the AI becoming way too OP out of nowhere and absolutely clapping my entire militia force
