Beautiful! Last year I had to put my mom and dad in memory care and have had to start going through their household items to sell. Had no idea she had so many embroidered linens. At first I was going to sell but the more I looked at them I brought them home. You have inspired me to use the linens out in my screened in porch!!

Your porch is absolutely beautiful! Such a warm, welcoming vibe! I couldn’t believe it when you pulled out the vintage linen with the baskets embroidered on it, that you put on your round bistro table. I have the same one I that I inherited from my mom. I was going through a box of her old linens this spring to bring out and add in my home, I saw this same linen and loved it, but it has a few stains on it, so I put it back in the box. Now you have inspired me to add it to my front porch! I have a wicker furniture set on my porch and this will be going on my table. I believe my mom ( who I know is smiling down on me) directed me to your video. Blessings to you!

I always love watching your porch makeovers. It looks amazing as always. You are so blessed to have all those vintage pieces from family. Love the quilt and doilies. Wow! And that Virginia creeper is amazing! Wish you could give me some advice on how to really spice up our big new deck out back. I've added some things, but I always need more plants! You always give me great inspiration for my own porch pots. Dragging my feet on taking out my pansies since they still look so pretty. I really appreciate how you give us great tips for saving money on plants too. I've divided some myself like that. Really helps the budget these days. You may have to change your YT channel name to "She's a Mad Moneywise Gardener!"
I’ve left my pansies in as well … they are in such great shape still that I hate to pull them!
That container is so interesting! I took some ajuga out of a pot left here by the former owner. I divided it up and put in the ground last fall. I got six plants! and they are loving life this spring!!

It looks absolutely lovely and says spring. Love all the containers and different combinations. The hanging basket is elegant even empty. Glad you got to enjoy the cherry blossoms in the DMV. The redbuds and later flowering trees are now exploding with color.

I start off with gloves, hat and long sleeve u v shirt. They last about 10 minutes 😊

It's crazy how some plants are valued by some and are weeds to others. I remove Virginia creeper from my beds. It's just very invasive down here in south Louisiana. It's another one of those nuisances to me. I saw before where stores and nurseries actually sell it up in northern states. Blows my mind lol.

Ajuga is very invasive here! My neighbor planted it and it’s now in my yard!
Yes it’s spreads here as well but is not on our invasive list for my area.

So happy to see all the coleus potted up; I just bought seeds and wasn't sure how I'd use them if I got them to sprout! I now realize one package won't be enough. I watched your porch video- it inspired me to plant on my small front porch- if I do I will need to water very often in my zone 7 SC climate. I have a ton of pots I plant outside. I was sick & didn’t get ant seeds planted this year. Y favorite summer annual is Gomphrena- all colors- it lasts until frost.

I like the flower choice’s. Do you have a pressure washer? Cleaning the cement floor would make it a lot prettier.
I actually like for the concrete to look aged rather than sparkly.

Good morning. I see that you cleaned your porch and the window and mirrors, however would it not have made sense to blow all the dirt and old stuff off the porch after you had planted up all the pots. For me, it would have become too much so I usually do that after planting. But there is no right or wrong way to do things. The funny part is that you started wearing gloves then at some point you stopped wearing the gloves. I love feeling the dirt so I personally don't wear gloves. I am so excited to seeing all these plants grow and bloom. Enjoy the rest of your day and hope you had fun in watching your nephew.

Beautiful plants on the porch. What sun does the planters under the mirror get? Does it get morning or evening sun or just indirect sun. That arrangement it so pretty. ❤❤
Mostly shade with some indirect light!
Do you deal with pollen dust? Everything here in Maryland has a covering of yellow dust all over it. Rain would wash some of it off but my porch is screened in and the roof prevents rain from helping. I don't know what it would do to linens.
Every year you inspire me to decorate my porch and every year it stays the same, although I do move around the furniture for a different look.😊
Sometimes but it’s been awhile since I noticed an extreme amount like you are describing.
Turned out so, so cute! Wait is virginia creeper not poisonous? It's invasive here and we've had terrible skin rashes removing it. Perhaps it's like poison ivy, the more you're exposed, the more sensitive you are to it.
I’ve never had an issue with it but I’m sure there are people who have.

They are actually giant ornaments that were originally covered in Christmas lights … I found them on the side of the road in the trash, removed the Christmas lights and spray painted them black.
Where do you get your pots? Specifically the large urns... The only ones I can find are so expensive!
I get almost all of my containers on Facebook Marketplace second hand.
Oh my goodness! I just saw a framed floral print very similar to yours at the thrift store. Same shape and everything. I didn’t have a place to put it so I didn’t buy it.
