A quick fun one to upload. I took the original theme and added the sound effects that were originally popularized by the Video Game Pianist. Since the theme is so short, I combined it with the cave theme from Super Mario 64 to fit that festive spooky spirit for this month. Not the most easy to translate to the piano, but let me know what you think! In my previous video I mentioned that I have a bunch of spooky-themed covers coming up, but this was not originally planned to be one of them, so stay tuned for them!

Playing those 4 octaves with 2 hands is dang impressive. I haven’t been able to do that...
Practice scales with octaves! And then branch out to other things with octaves. I have a ton of octave/leap experience, but with lots of practice it becomes second nature

Probably one of the most memorizable mario themes I would say.

I was very close to doing some Metroid not that long ago, but I put that on that back burner. It’ll probably stay there for awhile, but one day I’ll definitely revisit it.. maybe closer to the release of Metroid Prime 4?

What's your piano and display setup?
Yamaha p105, I use a lighting umbrella above the keyboard with an adjustable arm attached that holds my iPhone which does the recording. I use a black curtain to black the floor
