This American Mafia Video takes a look a Mafia history and along with a former made man explores several topics.
This Mafia documentary features Cosa Nostra mobsters such as John Gotti, Toddo Aurello, Charles Panarella, Carmine Persico, Sammy Gravano, Wild Bill Cutolo and many more
Tremendous thank you James, again, an honor to talk with you, a real Mafia historian. Looking forward to many more future interviews with you buddy...🤝🔥
Thank you for the opportunity to sit down and talk mob history.
The 2 best in the mob genre right here.Keep up the great work guys🍷🍷
@@OCSHORTZ👌🙌👌💜🤝💜🙏🌸Bill
Sammy, thank you so much for telling your stories. I feel especially honored to have heard about Toddo and Frankie DiCicco, and Johnny Keys. I can tell, from your account, that they were good guys and that's an important detail many people miss.
Sammy, when are you and Larry Mazza going to do a collab? Id love to see that.
When someone from another continent can get an interview like this, it’s very impressive. It shows how hard you’ve worked. Well done!
Thank you.
You've done an amazing job as a historian, and a you're a no nonsense gentleman. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we're extremely grateful for the content.
He knows how to Ask questions and be quiet n listen. That’s what the others don’t Do.
@@OCSHORTZGreat job and interview. I'm interested to know if you could reach out to Sammy and find out if he ever heard any inside the family history about the Anastasia hit and its participants.
Money makes Sammy do all kinds of crazy things . So one : You have enough subs here , or you have enough dollars or bove
First question is a banger. Having an actual historian ask the questions is awesome
Thank you Brian. Glad you enjoyed it.
This is an outta sight collaboration.
James, you let Sammy answer without interrupting him, that shows consideration. Looking forward to the next interview with Sammy.
James comes through again the only channel for real mob content!!!
Thank you David, I am glad you enjoyed it.
Truthful. Ya not when it comes to I viewing rats!!! Be a man and ask him why he killed Alan Kaiser 17-year-old boy
Most definitely 👏👏
This is the perfect format for Sammy. Having a mafia historian ask him questions like this really makes for interesting stories.
This collab is absolute gold, James you have always been the best UA-camr in the mafia genre who was not in the life and Sammy is the best who was in the life. I've heard Sammy interviewed so many times by people who know very little about the mafia which is cool, but to hear him interviewed by a top expert like you is next level! I have always loved your unbiased content delving so deep in to the history of the mafia... keep up the great work!
I have to say I was done with Sammy I felt he didn't have any more content. I think this team-up is a great idea. Asking Sammy about his experiences with other guys definitely brings a ton more content for the Sammy brand. If this is done again I'll be listening. Thanks for the excellent content.
Great interview, James. Hey, great job staying neutral and away from the back and forth drama that goes on in the genre. You didn't feed into it at all, even when guys were throwing shots and trying to drag you into it. Much respect for that. And I believe that's why Sammy gave you more in that interview than he's ever given anyone else. You reap what you sow.. I've always said that you're one of the best channels in this genre, if not THE best. I always look forward to your videos bro. Keep up the good work. 👍👌🤙
Thank you for your kind words, they are genuinely appreciated. Thank you for your support.
I'm proud to be one of your first subscribers, you came a long way bro.
I Salut.
Yea, I remember finding him when he had a couple thousand followers and I couldn’t believe he wasn’t at 100k given the content and information
@@danevertt3210
He's very good, no doubt, and I like the fact that he brought up Allen Kaizer, it wasn't a fluff piece, he asked tough questions.
Regardless of the varying opinions on Sammy, at the end of the day he is an iconic individual from that world and a wealth of knowledge. He's not getting any younger and i would bet on OC shortz over anyone else to extract some interesting info from him before it's too late. For anyone to be critical of this is short sighted.
Thank you Mark. You have completely understood my motivation. Gravano was in that life for several decades and interacted with numerous individuals who have not been covered yet.
This is exactly it, aside from OCShortz being my favourite/the best mob historian IMHO, Sammy was around some other all time OC legends such as Don Carlo and Mr Neil who I'll always want to hear more about.
Exactly. Well spoken!!
Totally agree!
Well done to the both of you totally enjoyed every minute 👍
Thank you
Absolutely fantastic OC!!! Proper questions!!! Been with you from the beginning. Well done 🔥 🔥 🔥
Thank you for the kind words. I am glad you enjoyed it. Your long time support is greatly appreciated.
Really are you all high. he did ask him any real questions. ask him about Alan Kaiser 17-year-old boy who killed yeah what a fucking hitman if you want Gambino hitman ask Tommy Patera.
James, you’ve outdone yourself. That’s why you have so many subscribers. This is unbelievable!
@@deanwheeler5969 yes, you’re right but he’s on his way. He doesn’t use clickbait like a lot of others. He’s getting there!

Really. Ask Sammy about Alan Kaiser the 17-year-old boy killed. Ya what a hit man. If you want to Gambino hitman, it’s worth a shit go ask fucking Tommy Patera tell me karate
@@Rernnn James did ask Sammy about Alan Kaiser in the interview and Sammy did talked a lot about it. Did you watch the video?
Oz has amazing command of the facts. He knows more details than Sammy in some cases. This is a good addition to the show Sammy. Good story too
Even though these issues have been talked about at length, this was another great interview
You once again brought out new information about an old story , your content is a cut above
I appreciate the effort you’ve constantly put in to bring new information to light
Thank You James
Have a Great Weekend 🥃
Thank you Brian. I am glad you enjoyed it.
Sammy has previously recounted certain of these stories. He hasn't any new material, so to speak. However, nuances exist that make them fresh and here's where few can elicit that as was done today. Excellent. These two will do well together.
You two are stretching the spectrum of the English Language. Good video
Probably the best Sammy interview I’ve seen 👏
The progress you've made on your channel is very commendable. I wish you nothing but continued success and growth. You are very appreciated.
Thank you so much for the kind words and support. They are genuinely appreciated.
What A Sit Down James! This didn't happen overnight either. No surprise that Mr. Gravano appreciated his chats with you. He obviously could see and hear the passion you have for your craft. No bullchit or glamorizing of people. No phony baloney gratuitous compliments. Just pure respect for Mr. Gravano. I'm quite certain it didn't take long in the beginning for The Bull realize what your Fan Base has known all this time, you are the Real Deal James when it comes to research, preparation and genuine respect for the people you interview and stories you present to your Fan Base! I'm very grateful to have a seat on This Ride. As always, Cheers From Across The Pond In COW-lumbus, Ohio MOO

Please fact check his story about the murder of Alan Kaiser in a new episode. You owe it to the Kaiser family not to spread false information about their teenage son and brother.
U talking to sammy rite cause OC don’t owe nobody anything 🤷♂️
@@ProdbyCeeSick you are right, he owes the family nothing but he does owe it to his subscribers and his viewers to fact-check Sammy’s nonsense.
@@BennyEggs...OC just asked questions… he hasn’t made any claims that Gravanos stories are true or not. You fact check his story.
@@mochans That's where we disagree.
If he's welcoming a guest on to tell stories, It's in his interests to fact-check them as a historian (as he keeps telling us all in the comments) he needs to for the legitimacy of his channel, otherwise, he may as well let anyone on to tell tales.
Sammy lies all the time. But fact check? What wood are u living in
Made up for you that you got an interview like this. I have a feeling you will ask the right questions. The Charlie Moose story is like something from The Sopranos 🤣 I can imagine that happening in the Bing 🤣

I’ve recently stopped watching Sammy but I have to check this out because you’re conducting the interview
Thank you, I hope you enjoy it.

A great video OC. I got a little snarky with you over the Gallo video but this was a masterpiece from a top drawer historian. I take back any previous bitterness and well done sir
Just watched this on Sammy’s channel. Congratulations on branching out into doing interviews with him, OC!!!!!!
Thank you Tony. I appreciate the support.
... "somebody got to Greg Scara and and warned him"... His FBI handlers, hearing that information from a wire tap?
I LOVE that James actually lets Sammy speak. There's an art to interviewing people and James is an Are-teeste..... Great Interview 👍
Very well done. I remember when you first started on this platform and I love to see your progress. Can't wait to see more interviews like this! You deserve all the respect!
I barely survived the Columbo thing by the skin of my balls.
This is tremendous!! Super proud of you James!
Thank you for the kind words. They are genuinely appreciated pal
You asked some great questions, James. So many times when people interview Sammy, they always ask the same questions and it's the same thing over and over. Great job.
I love listening to Sammy tell stories , he is the true definition of a narcissist , megalomaniac. I don't think I've ever seen someone who is this narcissistic. Every story he is in it always somehow makes him look like a good guy that nobody dislikes and how he is such a great person and everything else. He will be telling a story about kidnapping someone and torturing him and about to murder him but for whatever reason he will say that the guys last words were about how he is glad it's Sammy doing it and he respects him and all kinds of mind blowing narcissistic things. But God damn he can tell a good story.
James this is why i call u the GOAT of the mob genre nothing but facts and outstanding interview 👌 im glad ur getting ur props from a LEGIT gambino underboss well done mate 👏
This is the best Sammy interview since Diane sawyer probably. Very rare to hear Sammy this introspective these days. James is the reason for that with his unbiased reporting, style, and reputation. Good work OC
Thank you for the kind words, I'm glad you see what I am trying to do.
Very rare to see informants and snitches interviewed as celebrities but hey look at the world now 🤔
This should work out great for the both of you guys
James talk like he still doin shorts..i love it 😅😅😅
Been with you since the start, the very start, this obviously is huge for you and I am happy your good work is paying off but you are intelligent clearly and you know Sammy isn't so truthful !
Thank you for your long time support. I consider myself a historian, and will utilize every source available. I then take that information on board and cross check against other sources. In my opinion, there is a lot more information to be gained from Gravano. He was in that life for several decades and interacted with individuals who have not yet been covered.
In Sammy’s mind he was gonna kill Gigante, Casso, and now Scarfo. Not to mention that Sammy as a younger soldier was talking to a captain and feared killer like Panarella like that when his own captain was being talked down to seems to me like a lot of arrogance and narcissism in his stories.
I understand completely, this might be a very good move for your career , your new video today was quite interesting!! Wishing you all the success, I would just that the partnership is going to drag you into a lot of these online arguments that you have avoided for multiple years while having the biggest mob channel outside of Michael and Sammy !! All the best James !!! I look forward to your future work
This channel has come so far. I remember watching him a couple years back and thinking "how does this pom know so much obscure shit?" Just deserves a big congratulations on how far you've come. Best mob historian out!
Thank you for the kind words
James, again proving you are on your own level. Salute!
It's said that Sammy killed or had killed his gay lover. Is there any validity to this?
Well done, James. I've been with your channel since the beginning and you've become an excellent investigative journalist. Gravano is absolutely correct in paying your channel homage because it is just based on facts and history.
Do you by any chance have any content on the St. Louis or KC mobs? I had family connected in St. Louis and although they weren't as influential as Chicago or NY, I'd like to learn more
I will definitely be covering some other cities soon but at present I have not made any dedicated videos to those areas.
Very good video, very professional, very informative and very entertaining, well done James.
Thank you Andy. I am glad you enjoyed it.
James has the best mafia channel on UA-cam. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again million times over. The man is so thorough and gets down to the nitty gritty with the details and the facts, not the nonsense drama.
Great collaboration! Absolutely looking forward to future episodes!❤️
Wow. What a great interview. You got Sammy to finally answer questions about Alan Kaiser. Really great stuff. Cheers from Australia and keep up the great work
Did he really though?Did Sammy really answer it ? To address it yes he did and you right that’s impressive in its own right but I’m just curious what’s your take on that answer?
@@johnnnyoh He said he had nothing to lose by admitting he pulled the trigger (with regard to his deal) and the autopsy report would back his version. Ultimately we will never know as everyone except Sammy is dead. Even if the autopsy shows shotgun wounds, how do we know that Sammy didn't fire it.
@@darrenforest1492 Sammy changed who called to Louie before he shot Alan. This is what it says in his book Underboss: “Now I see the other guy coming right at Louie. I don’t think he runs at Louie to attack him. I think he’s so scared and confused, maybe stoned, that he don’t know where he is. I yell to Louie and Louie turns around and hits him a shot in the chest from a couple of feet away. The guy topples over. Louie lowers the shotgun to his head and gives him a full blast."
@@ninjanizzlethank you for your feedback. I haven't read his book but I wouldn't be surprised if he has changed his story. I was simply responding to OC actually asking him directly as many have "danced around " the subject. Cheers from Australia
Yeah I'm with you on him re-writing history to suit himself. Cheers from Australia
Having someone who actually knows mafia history , interview Sammy is great !
Thank you
Treating snitches and informants like celebrities has nothing great about it !
I believe Sammy’s version of events after listening to this interview because what reason does he have to lie? He’s admitted involvement like he says. People should definitely produce the autopsy reports if they beg to differ. Good interview bro 💯
Outstanding interview and questions. There are so many things that Sammy knows and no one ever thinks to explore with him. Hope to see more of this.
Man this is so cool. Sammy's brilliant storytelling and your brilliant methodology, your commitment to detail and your neutral observant stand, much like ours the viewers, makes for a great combination. Thank you, sir

Absolutely brilliant James, I've listened to Sammy on many occasions and he's always impressed me, no more than you James, this will be a fantastic collaboration and will bring about some fascinating conversations.
He’s truly a master manipulator it really is impressive , he’s manipulated majority of his viewers now he’s gonna do it to James viewers lol I was hoping I wasn’t the only one who caught onto what he did here with the Alan Kaiser story but looking through these comments i don’t think anyone did. Just so ya know if you actually read the autopsy report for Kaiser it says he was killed by a shotgun blast which goes right along with what has been said for years that Louie milito killed him.
Hello Mr. James. Thank you for a good interview. It's nice to learn something new from a mob historian's point of view.

Good stuff! I think James is one of best on UA-cam! None of that talking bad nonsense. So many phonies
Great interview. This guy's gift of the gab to explain away the death of an innocent 16 year old kid, killed DIRECTLY as a result of the actions of career criminal human vermin (gravano and milito), along with 18 other human beings, is incredible.
James is a cut above the competition. His work tops. Very impressive entertaining videos

i just noticed the five families by Selwyn Raab on your shelf.. im on page 482 and im loving every second of reading it.
LOVE Sammy!
He owns up to his mistakes and helps so many people in the lessons he has learned throughout his life.
He doesn’t judge others who have addiction problems - HE HELPS them!
I wish many of our youth would listen to the pitfalls Sammy talks about as well as his stories of the consequences of his actions .
The stories of the abuse he endured during his prison stays is atrocious. Also, being separated from his family.
Maybe, these kids now wouldn’t be so eager to commit random violence.
Sammy nor the real Cosa Nostra committed“random” acts of violence.
They protected the neighborhoods they lived in and helped it prosper.
We can ALL see what happened when the Mafia went down !!
Just look at big city crime!
Thank you for a great video!
Incredible work. I found it very fascinating digging into Sammy’s past with the Columbos. I feel like it often gets overlooked!
I'm really pleased for you James. You're mob knowledge is very accurate. You obviously do your home work. Sammy is the real deal. A figure who was at the pinnacle of the most powerful mob family in New York during his time. I actually mentioned your name to Sammy (in a comment I posted) in the hope you two could collaborate. Congratulations James 👏🏻
These new OC shorts gravano interviews are good work.
Thank you Damian
Liked this interview a lot. Seemed like it wasn't something already discussed 100 times so I enjoyed it. Looking forward to another one with these two.
In reality, the way I look at it, it doesn’t matter who the triggerman was on the 16 years old. Sammy and Louie left that night with guns with the intent to kill, and whoever pulled the trigger it doesn’t matter, they are equally as guilty imo.
That kid would be what 60 years old this year 😵💫
Sammy is the real deal . Praise be to the American justice system that we get to hear these stories 😂..
But seriously thank you
I’m a bit late, but great interview James. I really appreciate the straightforwards question style, getting to key points of historical interest. As well as not shying away from the Alan Kaiser question. So you’re gonna be kind of co-hosting or collabing with Sammy now? RJ to Mikey Scars style? That’s a big step man. Congrats, and well done!
Thanks Will. We will be doing a few pieces together. In my opinion, Gravano was in that life for several decades and interacted with individuals who have not been discussed yet. So, I am hoping to get some further info on some rarely spoken about individuals.
@@OCSHORTZ I agree totally. He’s not everyone’s cup of tea in the genre for sure. But, when it comes to history, he was the underboss of one of the two most powerful and important families in America (or three if you put Chicago in, but not so sure by that date) during what was still, if the tail end, of the glory days of the American Mafia. And he was in the life for decades before that, across two families. And yes, while the already famous stories have been ploughed over again and again, he will have known and worked or interacted with TONS of (currently) lesser known players - the uncovering of which is exactly your wheelhouse. So mate, amazing job. And to see a fellow Brit leading the charge like this - warms the cockles of me heart! Cheers mate 🍻

IMHO, Sammy set the bar for ex-Mafia members on UA-cam. I watched him quickly go from audio only to polished and professional video content. Everyone else is playing catch up.
OC Shortz is the best Mafia history channel on YT, IMHO. Most of the others regurgitate the same stories we've been hearing for decades now, but James consistently provides interesting lesser known tales of both well known and not so well known mobsters.
I'm looking forward to this collaboration. Can't wait for the next one!
This guy is like a mob historian Holy shit. He knows everything 😂 I appreciate your level of knowledge brother. If you're going to talk about something know three or four times more than you're going speak about it, and you do. They should give Sammy a role in a movie.

Love with OC interview your not getting the typical questions Sammy gets in other interviews. My only beef is the interview was too short. I hope this is part 1, cuz I know OC has a lot more interesting questions to ask.
O C:
"THEY" made Gravano "DO IT"!!
Gravano is ALWAYS the "GOOD GUY "! Just ask him....HE'LL TELL YOU.
😂 Yup! He has that S on his chest like he's always the hero or Superman in every situation. He's also the only one with the moral compass.
Weren't you afraid that Sammy would get pissed that someone was asking him about Kaiser again?
I do believe Sammy 100% on the 16 year old kid getting killed, I heard the story before and this time it's actually more in dept. Sammy is one of the very few Mob guys I actually listen to, not as much as I use to since I pick up on OC Shorts, but I did read his book, Underboss and it was a good read. Hopefully you guys can do more of these, Sammy is an excellent source of information to corroborate a lot of the other material you put out weekly.
Yeah except that he lied about it and combined two different murders he committed and blamed Louie for the kid getting killed. The whole story about the kid being the guy who got hit when they tried to take out the biker is BS. The kid was walking over the bridge (From what I recall) and Sammy and Louie mistook him for someone else and killed him. You can go back to Sammy's book he never mentions the 16 year old at all cause he knew it wouldn't be good for his book. He's a known liar so you can 100% believe him if you want but it's not the smartest thing to do.
@@Cardb33 what you said is true scammy I read the book he always blames the victim he still thinks he is underboss
Sammy is a psychopathic murderer who has zero remorse for his crimes and blames everyone else for his actions. Wake up.
@@alisonmclean3754 He even said that during Chin Gigante's trial when they asked about if he's worried testifying against him and that he was alleged to have shot Costello he allegedly said "I'm not scared of people who miss" and stared at him.
