This is a dream for agadmator. Vishy vs Magnus AND the Evans Gambit. What a day.
This is a dream for everyone.
Vishy is no match for Magnus, idk why people over hype their match (mostly indians) as an indian i wanna vishy's games always been boring and he loses to Magnus 90% of the time.
@@kenadams9725 you belong to r/canconfirmIamindian.
@@kenadams9725everyone loses to magnus 90% of the time but vishy has pushed magnus many times, saying vishy is boring is showing that you are a 800 elo chess player.
@@rahulrao93 everyone knows it bro you're just one of his little fan girl who will go out of his ways to dickride him. He's first ever indian world champion, he's coaching young indian players and everything but that's about it. UA-camrs use his name to lure indian following. God forbid if anyone criticize him even a bit indians would leave millions of hate comments. Kinda like virat kohli and his toxic fam following
I rushed to the bar just to show my friends this game
Same here but now I am too drunk to return to my home.
I’m not old enough to drink so I could only show my friends at the library this masterpiece.
@@randomthoughts4691Same
If this is true thats kinda sad
Sounds like a fun bar? Whereat?
even my librarian couldn’t believe this game
How about your bartender?
@@user-vq4yz5nn2q i invited my bartender to the library but they had to work
How about your barber?
My mailman just told he doesn't know any guy named Steinitz🌚🌚
Ask him about the 1959 Candidates Tournament
That's a great concept of repeating positions from the old era games which will make chess exciting again. Kudos to Morocco!
Yes, a truly great concept.
Agreed. Very interesting indeed, just like Fischer random etc. I long to see more of these
I still don’t understand though. How many moves into it must they follow?
@@SuperAidan2000 I don't think there's a specific move count they start at. What I'm sure of is that they start right in the middle game where the position's evaluation is equal for both sides.
Vishy: raises hand to resign
Agadmator: Hello everyone!!!
When Magnus and vishy was playing, Agadmator was already analysing the game...
Can you please do another tutorial on the Evans Gambit exploring more lines
Of course
Check out the sweet t shirts Agadmator has for sale. Link in the description. My favorite is the VAST KNOW LEDGE one. Make one that says SEE YOU AT THE BAR OR LIBRARY
Word at the bar or library is that one should play the Evans gambit.
My mail man said the same thing. Must be a strong opening
Agadmator forgetting his staple script is something i never thought i would see😭
i cant see it which one?
8:22
Cut him some slack. He's amazing.
@@autocomplaciente oh yes. He is the best 👌
Evans gambit got to him. Lol Distracted by something he needed to clean up. 👀
What a move! Rd5, truly amazing
Man you are amazing! You covered this so quickly
I knew this game had to be covered! Thanks Agadmator!
i saw this game
live on yt and now agad is covering it
good
The GOAT opening was finally unleashed.
Whitout an engine telling you what to do. Amen, brother
Beatiful: he forces Qxf2, this is really brilliant!
What happened to the Steinitz saga?
We've been wait for his Saga for some time now bro
I asked my mailman when Antonio was gonna finally upload it and my mailman reported me to the federal government that I should be put on (another) watch list.
@@LukeLongboneOfficial So now you're receiving watches by mail?
What's the parameters for re-creating a game? Do they have to, for example, copy the first 10 moves?
Also wondering some guy guessed it’s a position in middle game where evaluation is equal to
Incredibly incredible game from an incredible channel ..
Romantic chess is so beautiful! It was the first our teacher taught us kids in the chess club, and it got me hooked, probably for life!
Thanks for what I actually wanted to know, I have several Evans Gambit games with me from this very channel ❤.
Thanks
Casablanca chess means opening stage already played for you now it is the test of your middle and endgame knowledge/skills.
Neat idea for a tournament.
You had me at Evan’s Gambit
What a game to show your friends at the museum and wine cellar!
Amazing that queen trap
Antonio having a bit of a senior moment near the end. Not surprising, he being a new dad (again!) and all.
You know when these two plays against each other chaos is on the board.
Thanks for the games
Legends clash again
#suggestion we need tha match of chigorin and steinez ,it must be be ,fun
The Evans Gambit is honestly one of the reasons I never enter the Italian as black. (I also just prefer other openings because I enjoy them more)
I usually just throw the Sicilian against white
I don't recommend the sicilian if you're not that high rated
Evans gambit! Magnus! Is this a dream 😂
6:07 -- Why cant the Queen take at c3?
Rd3 and queen is lost anyway ig
@@user-ov6uv2wz5h But atleast he could get a pawn and rook in exchange of queen that way
@@shahhemangb.3979True. It seems like 6 vs 3. I wonder why he chose the knight.
@@TheLeadAttorneybecause you get both knight and bishop
Bd2 captures the queen
8:22 me trying to act completely normal when my crush is around.
well done
I found Rd5, oh yes!!
Masterpiece!
Is a plane, is a bird, is Evans gambit on the board
This is what Agad was waiting for! Play the EVANS GAMBIT and luckily it was played by the one and only Goat himself 🔥
The engine is trained by the old masters ideas. Agad.
My Mailman just called me and apologized .
He *called* you? What!? He didn't *write???*
I knew Magnus would win when he played b4, Agad taught me that.
My mail man could not believe this game
What a classic!🎸🎸🎸
i initially thought Rd5 as I wasnt worried about Qxf2, just didnt really see the point of it or the idea of trapping the queen
Fun stuff!
5:23 Why the knight can’t capture the bishop? K:c4?
1 query, what is wrong in the black queen taking the pawn in C3 instead of giving up the exchange?
Why not QxC3 at 6:25? Am I missing something?
bishop to d2 still traps the queen.
I found that Rd5 traps the queen...
But the position at the end there, black should capture with the b pawn instead of the d pawn so that the rook isn't trapped... The queen would still overpower the black pieces in that position, but still I think sometimes agad plays the not so strong moves (I'm not saying he should play the engine moves, but at least play the strongest human moves lol)
Up until what move do they have to follow the old game?
At 6:25 during the queen trap why not capture the pawn on C3? Isn’t that a safe place for the black queen?
Bishop to d2.
How do players know at which position to deviate from the old game?
Thanks Sir
Props to Vishy for playing this game probably knowing the likely outcome beforehand.
And it was in this position, upon the mailman playing the Evan's Gambit against agadmator, that agadmator resigned the game as there is nothing left to be done.
Maybe we should add a small c to the robot for Casablanca chess.
Value the old masters... Lesson learnt... Thanks Antonio
Old chess was fun.
Captain Carnage strikes again ❤
What about Hikaru game
Both players today ended up losing their Queens and both players with Black had their Rooks and light squared Bishop stuck in their original position Magnus voted for this set up I really liked the c option but can’t remember the players names in that game
At 6:25, instead of Queen takes Knight A3.
Why not Queen takes Pawn C3?
i went to the library to show this to my friends and the librarian didn't kick me out this time for disrupting the library
How many moves were forced? When could players begin to deviate?
5:55 really there's no other way to put it
At 6.05, why not queen takes pawn on c3?
All games should begin with the Evans Gambit. Or at least have it as a variant a la Fischerrandom. Agadmator will do 10 videos per day.
Where is everybody? Hello?
Helo from Pakistan
6:11 cant the c3 pawn just be captured??
Bd2 captures the queen ?
8:26
When I forgot how to close a conversation be like :
The video base background color is change... very disturbing
One can also take with b7 at 7:08, then he wont lose the rook later
The good stuff
Petition to officially rename “Evan’s Gambit” to “Agad’s Gambit”!
Corny
I think it’s better to keep it named after its inventor. Many great players throughout history have played before Agad was even born. I think it’d be somewhat disrespectful to the gambit and its history.
Why are you this dumb?
This was not in Agadmator's tutorial
This shows magnus is just on another level. He simply crushed vishy.
Golden romantic era
5:27 why bishop is not coming for save
I always say that engine is not a human and there have been instances that engines were proven wrong which is a sign that humans are still strong like old masters
Now who is spreading the rumor that magnus watched agad's tutorial before this game?
Pretty sure my elderly African American USPS lady does not know that Steinitz defeated Chigorin...
Magnus nd his memory.
where is PLACHUTTA
Anyone know how quickly did Magnus realize that Vishy trapped his own queen?
@6.23 why can't the queen take c3
My friends in the library are mad about this game.
what do you mean by players are repeating games ?? i don't understand. they are playing games of the past players, if yes then what is the point of playing ?
Presumably they repeat a famous past game up to an interesting/equalish point, but then are allowed/forced to deviate? The video is super unclear about how any of this is determined.
@@kaptainkoryjust do your research.

Blitz game? Vishy had 100 years to prepare for this position and blundered on move 2.
Now the top players know to play the Evans against Vishy in Classical as well
My mailman never share their chess knowledge with me. I could be a GM if I had one who would share his secrets he learns in the bar and library.
Why he doesn't take pawn on C3 with queen?
Did the players knew the starting position before the game?
no,only when they at the chessboard, they got 15 mins to think about the position
@@dereknichols4376 15 minutes before the start of the game?
@@patmackay273 No after the game 😅

But Black could escape with QxC3
Like so many of your "pause the video" challenges, I got the right move, but didn't see far enough to really understand why it was the right move.
My uncle couldn't believe this game
Hey
I can't believe I got the move. I never do haha.
