I see “Edelweiss” and instantly think of the man in the high castle. Well done, producers, well done.
Great stitch. I’m knitting a shawl and a pair of socks right now using the stitch. Thank you so much. An 84 year old male living in Holland.👍🌹🍾🥂

Thank you for using large yarn with such good contrast between the yarn, the needles, and the background. Makes it so much easier to see what you’re doing.

Thank you so much for your videos! It is refreshing to find beautiful stitches that are not seen everywhere else. You mentioned in one of your comments that some of your ideas/stitches come from your grannies and aunties - may I ask where the edelweiss stitch comes from. My family is from Austria so this really struck a cord with me. Definitely using this stitch in my next project! Thank you again. Love your videos!

Hi. this is a very lovely pattern and so easy to do . thank you so much for sharingç
Can I use this pattern for a knit cap? Does it reduce the stitches or keeps them same?
what sort of wool would you say for a baby's blanket thank you x
Thank you ,good tutorial.
Can you use this stitch when making sweaters
Can you please show how to decrease in this stitch if possible ❤
Ty ❤ your tutorial
Lovely stitch, easy to knit, would use for a top, thank you.
Will this stitch do as the border of a sweater?
It could do, but I’d suggest you to knit a swatch first, because every yarn behaves differently 😉
So beautiful.
So my dear wooly;
If i want to make a checkerboard pattern for scarf or other patterns. To make 20 stitches do I still ad d on 4 or 8 ?
It depends on your gauge. I wouldn’t add less than 1 inch 😉
What size of needle do you use for number 3 or 4
Thank you for this beautiful and easy pattern. How many stitches would I need to make a baby blanket?
I want to know this also.
Going tindonthis one. Thanks for shearing
thanks
Thanks again🌸🌼🌹
Beautiful! Thank you.
When "the jumper" needs increased or decreased stitches, how do you do that? Thanks.
As with any lace stitch, you would replace the edge stitches that will be shaped with plain knit
Thank you so much.
This a beautiful pattern. Thank you for sharing, i have started to knit, but with a thinner yarn, and it looks amazing. How do I send you a screenshot to show you?
Thank you! I’m happy to hear it 😊 You can share a picture on Instagram and tag me @sowoolly
Or share it on Facebook: facebook.com/sowoolly
You're welcome! Thank you. I will definitely share on Facebook and will tag you. 😊
I have tagged you the screenshot on Facebook. I hope you will have received it.
I’m afraid I haven’t. I saw your likes though 😉
@sowoolly Awww that's a shame I did try tagging you in instagram but wouldn't let me so i put it in a message to you.
Beautiful pattern
How would you do an increase and decrease with this stitch. Looking to do a sweater.
This might sound silly but does the 4th knit all row count as first row of next section please.
How do you restore the stitch count to keep it the same after knitting 2 together?
Thanks for this lovely tutorial. I would like to make a baby blanket but I think that I need a border? Do you have a link to a border for this stitch? Thanks again!
Hi! Why don’t you try the Seed stitch? Knit a swatch and see if you like the both of them together. Take into account that the border should be made for each side of the blanket 😉
@@sowoolly Thanks! That is a great idea. I'll try a swatch.
@@sowoolly I was looking for answer to that question myself. I just found you. I have been able to knit for 30 odd years and haven't come across half your patterns. I too am going to do a baby blanket
COULD YOU DO THIS WITH DOUBLE KNIT?
thank you for this lovely stitch pattern
Love the pattern! Now, is there a way to "reverse" the pattern so that the second set of four rows makes the horizontal lines go in the opposite direction? In other words, the pattern would be like a vertical chevron.
Thanks! I don’t know, I’m going to try it in the round first 😉
Nice video. Do you create patterns yourself or taking from books?
Thanks. I do both: I still have old notebooks and magazines with patterns from my aunties, granny, etc, and sometimes I design my own ;)
Its perfect👍👍👍👍
😱😱😱😱😱 Woooow! Love it... Thank you I just. Subscribe to your channel lovely voice very calming👍👍👍👍
Thank you, welcome and happy knitting 🤗🤗🤗
