Thank you for using large yarn with such good contrast between the yarn, the needles, and the background. Makes it so much easier to see what you’re doing.
You r an excellent teacher n so awesomely talented Thank you for teaching us with so much patience.God bless you always looking forward for new designs
I look for your videos after a hard day. People are crazy, but your voice is so calming, and you explain the stitches, so even I can understand them. Thank you so much. I think we need to teach the world to knit!
I can not wait to do this stitch soon as my hand heals. I was down because of not knitting and listening to your beautiful voice and great knitting stitch pattern I am feeling better.
So woolly.... I just need to thank you for helping me keep going in isolation! Your knitting videos are priceless to help improve skills and divert attention away from the lonliness some of us are having to cope with. I hope you are staying safe.
Brilliant! I want to knit an infinity scarf for my sister in law for Christmas, and I've been looking for a stitch that would be interesting to use. I think I've found it!
Thank you for this video. I love this stitch. It took a few tries to get it right, but now I use it more than any other stitch. The finished products are absolutely beautiful.
Thank you so much for your videos! It is refreshing to find beautiful stitches that are not seen everywhere else. You mentioned in one of your comments that some of your ideas/stitches come from your grannies and aunties - may I ask where the edelweiss stitch comes from. My family is from Austria so this really struck a cord with me. Definitely using this stitch in my next project! Thank you again. Love your videos!
My name is Edelweiss so now I know there is an ‘Edelweiss ‘ stitch I will be making my daughter’s scarf (who has just been told she is cancer free) using this stitch.
Great news, congratulations 🎊🎈🎉 Enjoy your knitting and please share the scarf on Instagram or Twitter (and mention me: @sowoolly), so we can all see it 😉
What a beautiful stitch. Just curious if you have ever tried knitting this in the round? It looks like it could be nice on socks. Thanks so much for sharing.
This a beautiful pattern. Thank you for sharing, i have started to knit, but with a thinner yarn, and it looks amazing. How do I send you a screenshot to show you?
Thanks for this lovely tutorial. I would like to make a baby blanket but I think that I need a border? Do you have a link to a border for this stitch? Thanks again!
Hi! Why don’t you try the Seed stitch? Knit a swatch and see if you like the both of them together. Take into account that the border should be made for each side of the blanket 😉
@@sowoolly I was looking for answer to that question myself. I just found you. I have been able to knit for 30 odd years and haven't come across half your patterns. I too am going to do a baby blanket

When "the jumper" needs increased or decreased stitches, how do you do that? Thanks.
As with any lace stitch, you would replace the edge stitches that will be shaped with plain knit
Thank you for this beautiful and easy pattern. How many stitches would I need to make a baby blanket?
I want to know this also.

Will this stitch do as the border of a sweater?
It could do, but I’d suggest you to knit a swatch first, because every yarn behaves differently 😉

What size of needle do you use for number 3 or 4
Can I use this pattern for a knit cap? Does it reduce the stitches or keeps them same?
