Nice talk... I remember russians and ukrainians were very close to a ceasefire when they had a meeting in Istanbul last year. At that time, Boris Johnson immediately run to Ukraine to convince Zelinski that war must go on. Unfortunately, he was successful to convince him and war continued. What happened till then? The cost for Ukraine is now approaching 500.000 (dead, injured, lost etc.) and they are far from winning back their territory. West seemed to help Ukraine, but their real intention, obviously, was to weaken Russia as much as possible. Despite the rhetoric, western governments didn't care even a bit about the lives of Ukrainians.
It makes me sad to see India cozying up to colonial powers while the global south is coalescing. I hope Modi will wake up one day and realize that the west accepts only master to servant relationship.
Let me remind you that India is in noone's camp but it relunctantly is forced in one camp or the other by the powers that be. India wanted to be non aligned but the west supplying weapons to Pakistan meant that India is forced to partner with the Soviets to an extent. Even today India maintains equidistant relations with Russia and US but the bullying tactics of China has made India to become a reluctant partner of the US. We do what we do to survive, you cant fault us for that.
Global south should quickly create their one common international currency for settlement of trade and services and reject and end accepting USA local and Europeans local British local currencies as international currencies that will be the beginning of global south true independence and force USA Europeans to trade with it and reject their local currencies
