I'm in my 70's, and my kids speak of memories they have and that I've lost. So even recent history is often forgotten and as you said, "That’s what is sad." Thank you!!
@@Desertpagan funny you say that. I’m in my 40’s and go thru the same thing.😂. But it’s nice when people remind you of the memories you have given them. Things that have gotten lost in our own memories.
I loved how one of the historians told the story, and he was just filed with excitement and passion telling the story, as if he doesn’t do it numerous times a day.❤️

I did not know that. If you haven’t been out here, you need to plan a trip. There is so much to see that it will take you multiple trips, just to put a dent in it. We’ll definitely be coming back.👍🏾
@Lucrativesoldier yes, we want start planning trips now with the girls (we have two now) because unfortunately school isn't going to teach them anything. I also want to go to Gettysburg too. Love you Cousin
@@neidracross8626 right, we were taught the basics, but also forget because we don’t see it. When you come out here, there are reminders everywhere. It also gives you a much different perspective of things.
