Gua Bao is also known as Pork belly bao.
Gua Bao is a little bit like a steamed bun that is filled with braised pork belly, cilantro, pickled vegetables, and peanut powder, etc.
Yuan Fang Gua Bao is similar to other stores in that it sells Gua Bao, but it always has a long queue. Most stores do not heat and fill the pickled vegetables like they do. The braised pork is also cooked to just the right degree of doneness, not too overcooked or hard to chew. Later, I found out that the store was founded in 1955 on Heping West Road in Taipei and has been in business for 67 years.
