you should add an overarching theme to the board (every square has to have the condition, as well as the other two conditions that define the row/column).
for example, a square with Texas and San Francisco, and the overarching theme is all stars. Hunter Pence played for both teams, and he was an all star, so he would be an appropriate answer.

This is a fun one
BBD starting with a corner square is optimal tic-tac-toe strategy. There is only one counterstrategy to that opening move, as taking any other square locks up a win for the person who goes first. Jake gifted BBD the win by taking another corner. But then BBD messed it up by taking the center on the third round.
Of course, it's a bit different here because a person does not automatically get the square of his choice.

Every time I have seen them use "only team" The player has to be retired from baseball but they don't have to retire with that same team. That's why Ryan Howard counted. He played for the Phillies from 04 - 16. He did agree to play minor league ball for both the Braves and Rockies but never got called up for either team in 2017 so he has only played for the Phillies in the Majors of MLB.

SCANDALIOUS! Jake took 11+ seconds to review the board before saying a name and the clock starting. It didn't alter the results in this game, but this could be an issue. Time should start when they get the board.
I think they made it so time starts when they answer purposefully, people just normally don't take advantage of it.

What about a minor league square? Player must have played in the minors at some point for the organization. Opens up some very atypical answers, like Carlos Delgado/Red Sox, Roberto Clemente/Dodgers, Johan Santana/Astros, to name a few.
