- Scooter Cannonball 2023 - this is Day 1 part 1 as experienced inside the helmet of GoPam, Rider No.89. GoPam is riding the same 2007 Vespa GT200 now in my third scooter cannonball - go Underdog!!
This time it is an 8 day journey of riding 3200 Miles from San Clemente, CA to Hilton Head Island, SC
HUGE SHOUT OUT and THANKS to my good buddy GotMojo. He completely rebuilt my GT200 and installed magical unicorn pink rubber hoses too! Along with a custom GotMojo command center and a custom GotMojo rotopax front rack. GotMojo set me up for success - here's the start of the 2023 Scooter Cannonball video series...and keep watching to see how I do??!!
Now a moment for some upsetting news. This month, October 2023, our beloved cannonballer and UA-camr: @QuasiMotard was struck by a road rager while riding. Send him your love and if you can.... send $ help for medical bills. We're all wishing you a speedy recovery Quasi !!

I've been riding motorcycles for 42 years and have never ridden a scooter. That being said this event looks to be one of the coolest and tougher events I've come across. Good on all the participants regardless of whether they finish or not. To even try something like this takes guts.

Awesome! Nice to see you on my UA-cam channel! Scooterista & I had a great time chatting with fellow riders in the Bryson City hotel parking lot. I think it was Paul who gave me notes on epic roads to take back home through Utah. I took them! It was glorious!!!
