  • This tutorial will guide you through how to install Bin4ry’s Samsung Gear 360 Manager on any Android phone to remotely operate Samsung Gear 360 2017 and 2016 cameras.
It has been brought to my attention that some users are experiencing problems with this tutorial- this may be due to a recent software update on the 2017 model, unsure if any changes have occurred on the 2016 model. Unfortunately, I am unable to troubleshoot these, so please check the xda-developers forum for the latest or see others comments.
Performance may vary across devices and it is generally recommended for phones with Samsung S5 specifications or better.
The location of Unknown Sources settings may vary between phone brands and android versions, please check where these settings are for your device.
Apparently, some devices are requiring a password. Ian Dolan has commented that this can be found by entering the "connect to iOS" option to display the password. Try this if you need the password, even if you're using Android devices.
