Great review! Thank you 🙏🏽
You bet!
Great review! I wanted to learn more about this brand cause I work at Dillard's and we're about to carry this brand at my store. I can't wait for it to come.
Nice! I'm digging their newer stuff (i.e. five pocket slim stuff) but I haven't gotten my hands on them yet!
@@jonlaidonlie Update! They sell pretty well, and I got myself a pair and they feel great.
Great review! Those Commuter City Pants are very different from the Commuter Pant and Commuter Slim.
Thanks! Yeah it's the first generation, it looks like they have updated their lineup quite a bit.
Interested to see an update on how Lulus compare to Rhone commuter pants now that they have slim 26 inch inseam option now
I'll add it to the production - thanks for the head's up. 26 inseam - exciting!
@@jonlaidonlie 26 inseam in slim and skinny versions which I haven’t found anyone else with that. Could you do both slim and skinny Rhone commuters
Thanks!
👍🙏
Hey man nice review on the pants.. the question that’s troubling me the most however is... what couch is that behind you?
Are you talking about the bright one or the gray one?
They got the Rhones in Bloomingdales
thanks for the head's up - I have a feeling they will have some good Black Friday sales!
Lulu for sure better because they have the tall sizes that always fit me I also like a more Tailored fit and I think the Lulu does that better but I think you’re right in the end it just boils down to personal preference, unless you’re tall :-)
Yeah they did well by offering those tall (and short!) sizes!
are those the Rhone commuter or rhone commuter city ? Feel like i read/heard the commuter has more of a straight leg rather then the tapered city ?
Those are commuter city. The commuter did have more of a straight leg (classic) fit.
I couldn’t find the commuter pant color in the website. Can you please provide the color name for rhone commuter pant?
The one I got is called "asphalt". But it's 2 years old now.. something dark gray should match closely!
@@jonlaidonlie Thanks.
Ya it's so annoying having to set down my baby every time I button my pants :P
The extra 10 seconds makes all the difference in the world!
Those are the city commuter pants. They are different than the commuter pants bro. Nice video though
💯!!
Bro why does nobody wear the pants in there videos
So basically the inseam is the length? If in jeans I’m 35x32 my inseam would be 32?
yes- inseam is the length from the crotch to the bottom hem. 35x32, the length is 32.
@@jonlaidonlie oh okay thanks! I thought length was measured from the waist, I never knew it was from the crotch 😂 thanks!
@@gustavomarin6535 yeah there's a lot of measurements going on. Now you'll know when I say I need 32x26, why it's impossible to find!
@@jonlaidonlie around what height would use a 26?
I'm 5'6, and I have short legs compared to my torso. Weird geometry 😬
Vuori jogger!
Sunday performance, transit, or ripstop traveler??

I think it's funny how Rhone priced them the same as LuLU. Lulu set that market price. Rhone can only be ordered online so why is their price comparable to a brick and motor store & experience.
Pretty much appears to me a copy cat brand. That alone has me not wanting to support them. Of course they can waste a bunch of money on the box, they don't have brick and motor overhead.
They should be like $65.00 or less made out polyester only! Being a big Lulu fan (spoiled brat) and wanting to find a knock off brand so bad that is fairly priced and has close to the same feel--I have to say that I have not found that brand yet. I think it has something to do with the material blend LuLu uses and the way it stretches perfectly in all directions. I think other brands can't copy it and it patented. What are your thoughts on a brand that is more fairly priced?
I agree with you on Rhone. I haven't worn my commuter pants in over 3 months. Wear my ABCs almost every day. Lulu commands that price for a reason. For a brand that's more fairly priced, I would consider Banana Republic Core Temp Pants, Hill City or even GapFit Khakis. Other alternatives can be golf pants (Adidas/Under Armour). Those don't work for me because apparently I have a unique fit (heavyset 5'7 wanting a tapered fit). My plan is to stick to a good thing. I don't mind wearing the same pants for 3-4 days straight. Good luck and let me know if you find a good alternative!
@@jonlaidonlie I'm the same height, thick legs from squatting, some lulu's fit odd in my ass area. I watched another review and the guy covered many brands--almost too many. I didn't even realize there was a genre of these pants called "Performance Chino's" after his review I considered this brand. woodiesclothing.com/category/bottoms/ still looking it them. Seems like you can customize them. Might even be more expensive.
I just checked and they have a couple brick and mortar stores in NYC and CT however I have found that they have great sales unlike lulu I wear both I have somethings I don’t like and like in both depends on what I’m looking for
@@paintartsy do you have the new commuter five pocket? Wondering how that compares to the abc slim?
