@2:27 - My mom wore mini-dresses like those in the early and mid-70s. She shared many fashion tips with me and always reminded me that nothing drives men crazier than an attractive young woman wearing a mini-dress with pantyhose and high-heeled sandals. I have always used her advice and my experience has been that her words have been totally accurate! The 1970s were the best era for fashion.
This was back when the maxi skirt maxi dress trend was the norm with the Edwardian revival started in the late 60s so pretty much the only scandalous thing from these from a antique POV was the ankle exposure as turn of the century people would say
zed it still is, just much more watered down and more tame. I just think pants and jumpsuits are more popular now than they were in the 70's. One the streets less women wear dresses and skirts, jeans and leggings seem to be the way to go.
Best part bout the 70s was a multitude of trends styles scenes and movements that define the late 21st century before noughties experiementation came along
Oi. The second pic is a bath robe And some of the others are Not clothes that are meant to be worn in public. Like the Christmas tree trimming pic. Thats lounge wear. I suggest knowing your subject before posting
Most of these look to me to be from the later 70s. Too many knits. I remember more natural fabrics, like cottons. And printed fabrics. I don't see any Gunne Sax dresses or prairie style dresses.
Well I would rather see this Fashion of the 70s clothing nowadays. Compared to this dreaded mess of Fashion going on in the 21st Century of wearing your Pajamas around Town.
Yep, I wore those junior styles. Thanks for posting!
I went to high school at the height of the mini-skirt era, miss those days...
This is back when we still had class!
I love all these fashions, and I still desire to wear them!
I dont know why people say its ugly. I think it looks great..especially compared to people who dress like crap nowadays.
So true and I really do missed the Glamour Days Of Fashion.
MayorOfMoetown,,that’s because rules of proper e fashion still existed!

I reckon some of the floaty numbers are great. Especially the halter necks.
The junior dresses are so cute

Wonderful! ..and no fat ass models like today with their disproportionate rears pouring out all over the place.
In England these were mainly early seventies. Where are the platform shoes, Oxford bags, smock dresses, punk, new wave. Totally lame this video.
I love 70's but the clothes on here look super ugly to me!!
+Tinker Diggens They were super, super ugly and the fabrics...!
+Nokomarie ikr super thick & scratchy but no need to iron!!
