Great video! I was there a year ago and totally loved it!! Planning in going again now in May, thanks for the info on those speed boats, didn't know about them either!
I don’t remember the name but they are not hard to find. You can easily spot them hanging around by the main ferry next to their speedboats and they’ll be standing around trying to get the attention of more customers.
@@TapuwaWilliam Cool - tried to do a quick search on speedboats to Holbox, but not much came up. Guessing these folks might not be official transporters. Will try to scope them out when we get there. Thanks!
Yes! Some of the beach clubs are set a little far back on the beach and are closer to the shore. So there’s a lot of space to space to walk along the water in front of them.
Actually I just came back from holbox for the fourth time yesterday. It’s over. The scamming has started . The selling on the beach , the nightlife has started , They’re starting to play drums during the sunset, the white sand roads are pressed flat. I’m sorry , but holbox will never be what it once was just back in feburuary. It’s still pretty , but It’s turning into another replica of all the other places in the Q.Roo are. RIP isla holbox.
@@TapuwaWilliam unfortunately The process has started. 😔 But it’s still mostly nice and still nicer and Quainter than most of the others in the Q. Roo área. It’s just changing.
Great video! What area did you catch the collectivo in Playa Del Carmen?
Across from the Office Depot under the hwy 250 a person .
Can I ask what month you visited Holbox? Your weather looked great
I was there in January.

thanks for watching! And yeah, those speed boats are a game changer when getting to Holbox.
That was great friend, I’m now excited about venturing to holbox
Thanks! You're going to enjoy it.
Nice review! What was the name
of the company for the private-ish speedboats?

So were you allowed to just walk along the beaches of all the beach clubs until you got to the nice beaches?

Oh wow. That’s sad to hear. Hopefully Holbox doesn’t end up overrun with tourists and end up losing its charm.

Is there a pharmacy to get your Covid 19 test before heading back to the US?
I don’t know of any pharmacies but here’s a list of places where you can get a COVID test. www.playadelcarmen.com/blog/covid-test-cancun-riviera-maya/
