Fitting an Overhead Irrigation System on Polytunnel

- Installing an Overhead Irrigation kit inside your polytunnel is quick and easy, and is a simple and effective method of watering your plants. This video shows you how to fit the system in your polytunnel.
A polythene water delivery pipe fits to the roof of your polytunnel with sprinklers on drop tubes placed at approximately every 1.2m along the length. The pipe continues down the door post where it is connected to a garden hose.
One, two or three irrigation lines run along the length of the tunnel, depending on the size of the tunnel.

Thank you for your enquiry.
At this time of year and in the recent hot weather, it is important to water regularly. Check plants and soil daily, even if you have an automatic irrigation system. Most plants do best if the compost is kept moist at all times; check the soil regularly to ensure it is not too dry and not too waterlogged - overwatering can be just as damaging as drought. The soil should just be moist.
During the summer months, damp paths inside the polytunnel and mist overhead on hot days - this will help to keep the atmosphere humid.
Keep watering regularly; careful watering is essential during the summer months. It is recommended that you water your polytunnel plants in the evening or early morning to reduce the amount of water lost through evaporation.

Do you deliver to Mexico? And do you have video for primer automatic irrigation?

We are unable to deliver to Mexico - You may have more chance from a 'hoop house' supplier in the USA.
Our Premier Irrigation Kits are the same as our standard Overhead Irrigation Kits, but with the additions of a hole punch, pressure regulator and tap timer as seen at the end of this video. :-)
