Your flowers are beautiful! Just an FYI though, you said to use food coloring from your pantry. If you're using Qtips in them, don't use them for food after. You don't want the fibers in your food.

thats the beauty of coffee filters. the texture lends to a natural petal vibe and when you twist them up can enhance it. works GREAT for poppies!!!

You could simply apply a couple floral wires to the qtip 'stem' and wrap with floral tape :)
