Im going to have a look if this is similar on a mk5 golf. Fingers crossed it is, will update. Thabks for the video!! You've gave me a great starting point.
All sorted. Many thanks! Only difference on the Mk5 is that the option for disabling the alarm was found in Central Conv module, I can't remember the block but it's called disable anti-theft activation. Thanks again!
Thanks a lot for this. I have a passat and it has a problem with the sensor thinking the rear tailgate is open when it isn't. Mine wasn't in the same location though it was under Central Electrics II but same process, thanks you saved me a ton of money.
Hi mate, great vid. Would this work for a 2009 Mk6 golf 2L TDI? i'm having the issue where the car is locked but randomly anytime of day or night my hazards start flashing asif my alarm had been triggered but the alarm siren does not sound. I'm currently having to jump start the car a few times a week due to the hazards draining the battery. I have seen videos where i can snip the wires to the alarm module, but would this throw up any faults on the dash or cause any issues? I was tempted tp buy a replacement alarm module and fit it, but unsure if this would need coded to the car. Cheers
@@caralarmandradio Battery is confirmed as okay, have measured it at various points, always at 12.6V. Would disconnecting these wires cause the central locking to not work any further?
Hey, did you manage to fix the issue? I'm having the exact same problem. My vcds says it's a sensor for anti theft system. The car keeps a charge if I leave it unlocked, not ideal.
Hi will this work on a mk4 golf. As I’ve had a Clifford fitted and siren has been disconnected under the scuttle but sometimes the indicators stay flashing once I’ve unlocked the car using the Clifford
Is there a way to do this with OBDeleven? My alarm is going off and causing mayhem in my street. Same fault code as in this video. I just want to turn the alarm off completely
Hello friend, what a good video. I have a GOLF 2013 TSI 1.4 MK6 with an alarm failure. I hope you can help me identify the problem. 1- When you put the alarm on the remote control, the (Beep) does not sound that it is already set and in the same way when you remove it to get into the car, you do not hear the (Beep) that it is already removed. 2- If I set the alarm with the window open, I make any movement, it does not sound, the ultrasonic sensors do not record anything. 3-With the alarm set and I open the door with the window open, the orange flashing lights turn on and off but the alarm does not sound. What could be coding or some sensors, I have VAG COM and the report is as follows: Subsystem 3 - Part No: 1K0 951 605 C Component: LIN BACKUP HO H05 1501 03156 - Sensor for Anti-Theft System (G578) 004 - No Signal/Communication 03266 - Control Circuit for Signal Horn 009 - Open or Short to Ground 01134 - Alarm Horn (H12) 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded I'm waiting for some comment. Greetings.

No problem 👍
Hello my so got auto electrician to decode the siren. Will this stop the false alarms and will lights not flash either ?
Yea
@ oh great because they told him lights would still flash ! I was worried about the battery going flat as he does nt use the car very much !
Hello, is this possible with VCDS Standard license? Thankyou
Hi yes as long as its a genuine interface you wont have any issues
Hi. After coading and removing anti teft from central electronics will i still get fault code for alarm horn?
Thanks
Hi on some vehicles yes if that is the case you will need to disconnect the siren from the vehicle ok

The alarm could be detecting a bad battery I would plug in vcds first and find out why the system was playing up before changing parts ok

@@cameronfortey6438 you need to code out the alarm from the system

It may be too old to do electronically

You should be able to but you will still need to either unplug the siren or cut the wires to it ok
@@caralarmandradio Why do you need to unplug the siren if you've already turned if off via VCDS? Just an extra precaution, or...?
If the siren is faulty it can still activate
Does this really work?
Yes 100%
Will it work on a Mark 2 Skoda Fabia ? 2012
@gillian6507 never tried it so don’t know sorry 😔 you will have to buy vcds and have a look
