@@scollyutube I'm not entirely sure, but if there's a recording, wouldn't it be used as a reference material?
I'm guessing the electronics bay (in the nose area), including electronics for the IFE system were destroyed when the A350 crashed into the Q300, because I didn't see any screens on in footage of the accident. Hence why the PA didn't work.
