I remember in school between periods you had 4 minutes to leave the class, go to your locker, exchange your books, talk to friends, go from one part of the campus to the other side of the campus, stop at the water fountain and still get to class and BS to fellow students in that class before the 4 minute bell rang. It seemed like you had a lot of time, yet it was only 4 minutes.

You made it make sense! So many are hung up on one not being able to have time to commit the atrocities he did. Great job Grey! Now can you help figure out the 8 hour delay before the survivors or friends they had called to come over before calling 911? This is amazing what you have just proven , that there was plenty of time to commit this crime! May there be justice for the victim’s families and friends and for these young victims Kaylee, Maddie, Ethan and Xana!! So tragic! ✌️♥️

I do not mean to seem trite, but a lot of college kids live on their semester schedule. Meaning, that they are not all clocking in at the same time. Add in parties, and the like extracurricular activities (🍻)and then it’s not unlikely their roommates were just used to people sleeping in or coming and going at different times.
Edit to add: I am really only commenting on your idea about the 8 hr delay.

Your depiction of the time period is very telling. It doesn't seem like enough time when you first think about it, but your portrayal with the timers and your description of the victim's mental state due to alcohol intoxication, being asleep and taken by surprise are indicative of the crime very possibly taking place in the 9 minutes. Excellent video as usual.

Not really.. this is just video analysis. We are asked to use our imagination 100%. It's very different from reality. You don't know what is it really like to be in that house, that neighborhood, the emotions running in the person's head, the lighting conditions, the obstacles, the reaction of the victims (they fought hard) and the dog, the difficulty in the navigation (they said the streets are narrow and harder to drive at night). I have no doubt he did this in a few minutes. They were inebriated or asleep and not able to defend themselves. Kaylee fought and Xana fought, judging by their defensive wounds. I believe the attacks took place in the bedrooms, a small confined space with no room for them to maneuver, even if they were able to. BK is a big guy, fit and full of anger. According to his neighbors, they heard him jumping & stomping around in his apartment… I think he was learning knife fighting techniques. Either way, the element of surprise is very powerful and it worked in his favor. Thanks Gray for another fantastic lesson for the BK fan base!

This is great Gray, Yes positively he acted alone and he had plenty of time to do it!
Play by plays are the most informative way of showing how crimes are/were most probably committed and in the time frame. He would have to act quickly enough out of fear that he was being heard by each person in the house, maybe this has been covered, whether he knew where everyone was located except for one?
    Thinking of Kolberg’s mindset
what was his motive? The rejection from one of the females?
He was driven and definitely on a mission to kill. pre- meditated.

Another issue about the roomate on the 2nd floor. As Kohberger steps past Dylans bedroom door,, there's a step that leads into the front room or kitchen area. So, the offender is looking down, not seeing her looking at him through her bedroom door, seeing BK as he dashes out of the house after his fatal attacks on the kids.

This is the best graphic depiction I've seen so far of the inside of the King Road house and the steps the perpetrator took during the commission of these crimes. The way that you coordinated the timeline of events described in the probable cause affidavit with the movements in the house really demonstrates that the murders could very easily have been committed within the timeframe of Dylan's testimony and the audio captured by the security system 50 feet from Xana's bedroom. The house has a very unusual layout and it's difficult to visualize if you've never seen the inside. I have visited the outside of the house before, since I live in Moscow, Idaho, and this video does a great job of walking us through the house and seeing it from the killer's point of view. Thank you very much for this post.

Spot on Gray. One comment I would add is an interesting piece of theory that I agree with. Coming downstairs as it goes, he hears Xana moving around. The theory is she went in the bathroom. Grey, these models, and walkthroughs are incredible. Anyone who thinks the time frame is too short has not read a lot of crime history. Here's how I pictured events happening in the house that night (the times were my estimates, a year ago, so they don't match Grey's). Around 4am, Xana's DoorDash arrives at the front door. She grabs her food and goes into her room. Bryan parks behind the house (4:05am). (4:07am) Bryan enters through the sliding door and goes directly upstairs. He opens the door to Kaylee's empty room, finds the dog, and shuts the door or Bryan goes directly to Maddie's room. Either way, the dog would have heard Bryan coming up the stairs, and he was now awake. Bryan enters Madison's room, and attacks both women. Dylan hears the dog and noises upstairs, opens her door, and sees nothing. (4:12 am) Xana's in her room, eating and watching TikTok videos on her phone. She also hears the noises upstairs (Xana's room was directly below Kaylee's). Ethan was either sleeping or eating, I think probably sleeping. Xana brings the Jack in the Box bag out to the kitchen and is trying to figure out what is going on upstairs. Xana hears or sees something that prompts her to go back to her room where she tells Ethan "someone's in the house". Dylan hears this. Makes sense Bryan did, too. After he purposely leaves the knife sheath on Maddie's bed, Bryan heads downstairs to Xana's room. Ethan goes to check the house but he runs into Bryan outside or just in Xana's doorway. Bryan attacks Ethan. I don't think Xana knew what was happening but heard enough to know there was danger and was crying. Bryan then enters Xana's room, saying "it's okay, I'm here to help". Bryan attacks Xana. Meanwhile, Dylan hears crying and looks out of her room* for the 2nd time. (4:17) Cameras in the neighborhood pick up muffled voices, crying, and a thud. Dylan opens her door for the 3rd time and she sees Bryan as he is heading towards her from Xana's room. He turns into the kitchen and leaves through the sliding door. (4:20) Bryan's car speeds away. I hope the court case will finally give answers as to what happened that night and in the hours following the extremely delayed (and unreleased) 911 call.

Man, you need to send this to investigators or someone so they can use the format for court...I sincerely hope there is someone intelligent enough to present something exactly like this to the jurors. This is exactly what everyone needs to understand.
The Chi Omega murders were done in an equally small amount of time, very little forensic evidence left behind, multiple living witnesses inside that didn't hear a thing. Same with next door - no one heard a thing except for a few "bumps" towards the end. Bundy was also able to abduct women out of their own homes, carry them up from basement rooms into his car, without waking up any roommates or neighbors.
I can't even begin to list the cases where someone who had a month to clean evidence out of their car didn't leave any for investigators to find.
I don't think the Idaho 4 case was an extraordinary plan made by a criminal mastermind. I think it's the same blitz attack we've seen in many other extreme offenders who stalk & ambush.
I think the gag order on this case created a frenzy of speculation among the true crime community, and some people are using it as the latest excuse to exploit a tragedy.
I truly appreciate the channels & presentations that come from a place of logic and common sense...without the magical, wild theories.

The girls would not have called the police on their roommates for being loud, and having a guest over. Because that is exactly what these two young ladies thought. They had no idea what was happening. I was told by someone in the family of one of these girls, ( I am no longer saying which one) that they both slept downstairs in BF room in a quiet house until the next day. 8 hrs explained…. For those that think they had something to do with, cleaned up, hid things and then pretending to be shocked and waiting until the next day to throw everyone off for 8 hours so they could run screaming the next day is insulting.

That's one thing I was very curious about that I didn't get from any other visual representation so far, namely, where exactly was Dylan's bedroom and how close was she to the killer as he exited. This really makes it clear that she likely got a very good look at him before he left the scene.

I don't think he even saw Dillon peeping from her door, or she would be dead. He was in hot pursuit of finding the exit. He was probably taking big steps for the exit. His own fear of being seen, kept him from seeing the one witness who could tell the whole world that his bushy eyebrows were there.
I bet BK got nauseous after finding out he was seen.
He left so fast he didn't see her there, the only one who could point him out, and he didn't see her there, her door cracked open. She's alive bc he didn't see her. BK is seething about that mistake.
