    It's so rare to see an author on late night television. It's so relaxing to see such a mellow, soft-spoken yet insightful interview. Somehow it feels like the expectation to make jokes isn't there and it's oddly refreshing

    The day Celeste ng’s son sees her tweet about how Asian men remind her of her cousin will be a sweet day indeed.

    Why did Seth not follow up her statement? She said she learned her norms were both good and bad? What were they? Why did he change the subject?

We all have the same information ?

    She is a horrible role model for Asians.

      How?

    • @tha1ne
      @tha1ne 8 місяців тому +1

      @@vicshrily she has repeatedly belittled men of her own race (seemingly for no reason), and she and her gang of mean girl friends bullied a kidney donor and plagiarized her story.

    • @Spacemonkeymojo
      @Spacemonkeymojo 7 місяців тому

      @@vicshrily She grew up as an Asian girl in a predominately White area. As a result she became insecure of her race as a child because other kids picked on her because she stood out. This resulted in her growing a deep subconscious dislike and disdain for not only herself but anything remotely Asian. As a result she has done everything she can to be "White", like marrying a White guy. Yet she leverages her skin colour and ethnicity in her writings and in her public relations to stand out from all the White female authors in America. She has constantly tweeted about how *she* doesn't find Asian men attractive because they "remind her of her cousins" and how John Cho is cute but he's Asian or something. She's a toxic disgusting person, POC that have such a wide reach should be proud of who they are and not a self-hater, and that is why she is a horrible role model for Asians.
      If you are Asian, you should never ever mention Celeste Ng's name to any other Asians. She must be ignored by the Asian community because she is a White worshipping, White supremacist Asian female (and there are a LOT of them going around).
      All she f*cking focuses on is race. That is legitimately her shtick, she is a one-trick pony. And it's no surprise that race is all she focuses on because she's obviously damaged from her younger days. Black this, White that, Asian this etc. It's actually so pathetic and weird.

    It was awkward when Seth interrupted her to talk about cellphones and technology in the 90's, when she was trying to say something general and true about racism..

      Her parents are from Hong Kong, and according to the dialect spoken there(Cantonese), the pronunciation should be like "mm" with low tone. You have to close your mouth, say the letter "m", and never open your mouth until the sound has finished. If you say it with a higher tone, then it means "5" (the number 5).
