When you call out their sacred cows, I learned that when I told Mahone what a lying prick he was, they come after you.
At this point idk why people don't just steal the opponents deck and make them forfiet while on stream.
I have been thinking about doing conpeditive tcg but honestly after seeing this I dont want to, no sportsman ship at all at these events as u have shown, obviously there are people at these events that think the same as me and these other people keep recking the whole thing for us.
This is what happens when fairplay and sportsmanship isn't enforced and the judges are all incompetent and corrupt. Cheater and losers take over the game. It is no surprise that Pokémon TCG and VCG is dead.
It might as well be. Pokemon doesn't care. All the Greninja Break like crap happening and nothing is ever really done about it. Other things have happened where someone was kicked out of a tourney and shouldn't have been. Local leagues like the one I go to sometimes clearly not really caring at all when it comes down to it. I've played the games and tcg for 25 years now. I used to be a wotc yellow shirt gym leader. Pokemon has always from the start had tons of cheaters. And people with that fake nice persona. Judges and such only acting nice to better there status and such. Then when it comes to dealing with a big problem they throw there weight around and get to hide anonymously too. Let's talk about being crammed into spots that are way way way way too small most of the time in stores and nothing is ever done.
And yeah I get it too. I take my losses sometimes plenty of them too. I can admit that.
This is why I play yugioh. Cheating is highly looked down upon in the community and caught cheaters, usually take a minimum of 1 yr ban.

This is very disgusting. Though it is a PUBLIC post in every social media platforms. So people are telling them "With their consent/permission" they have missed the the dotted line that Twitter or any social media platforms that if you post anything public it means everyone can see a post that is public already. So yea, there is no way people can defend themselves for a lie. I am sure some of the Pokemon Community will clean house with expose cheaters and get them out of here alongside with the toxicity.
Why can't those judges' inexcusable behavior ever happen to people to deserve it, like hackers and cheaters? At least then they'd have a good excuse for their, otherwise inexcusable, behavior.
And the judges are so bold in doing it because they know there protected every single time.

The "professional cheaters" know how to handle new and inexperienced players. Also, most players probably don't assume that the person sitting across from you is looking for the perfect moment to palm a card, double attach energy, or draw extra cards.

Lgs owner here. The Pokémon community has taken a sharp turn downhill since covid. From increased shoplifting to rampant scams. Japanese and American tcg distros hiking up product costs and creating false sense of “low supply”. Niantic pulling out the ultimate middle finger to its loyal player base yesterday. Unless TPC steps in, the long term health of the Pokémon brand is in jeopardy.
Wolfe Glicke has been a verified Cheater, scammer, and general scumbag for almost 20 years now. Pokémon brand is still in decline since its 2016-17 highs yet still somewhat popular in the cultural mainstream. Tpc has time to fix this

i played this isaiah guy in round 1 of pittsburgh regionals and he seemed like a good and honest player so i’d hope that he has atleast stopped the cheating in fear of being caught

We just need a Thanos snap reset in this awful community. Better yet remove all tournament competitive play until there are rigorous cheating checks in play. If anyone is caught cheating ban their entire existence from Pokémon and revoke all rewards. Remove every single current judge and import judges from japan.

I encountered cheaters in TCG live earlier ... someone attacked me with Arcanine's special attack and it did not lose the 2 fires, it kept them. There were no stadiums or anything else.

At least Pokémon doesn’t have any rules that state that their players have to have good hygiene to participate😂😂
Pokémon has a toxic way of playing that encourages cheaters to exploit it. If the game rules are broken and official Pokémon tcg judge rulings made to repair the game state not only punish the offending player but also give their opponent a prize advantage, which against most decks is huge (some decks are built in a way that they don’t take prize cards to win).
It’s also in the game rules that both players are required to maintain the game state and at high level tournament play both players usually know what’s going on so if one player performs an illegal move, for example, attacking without having the energy cards on the Pokémon to use the attack, and then both players are supposed to realise that you can’t do this and then reverse the interaction before anything in the prize cards, hand and deck becomes affected. If this interaction happens there is no prize penalty and the game continues as normal from the beginning of the reversed interaction.
Some high level players who completely understand the game will exploit this however by intentionally “not noticing” your opponent making a mistake and letting them play the entire mistake interaction out until they’ve taken prize cards and shuffled their deck ect, at this point there is now a broken game state and despite the offending player actually making the mistake, their opponent intentionally refused to maintain the game state in order to get a prize card advantage so they can win the game.
This only happens with a select few people but is still such a bad feeling to see when it happens.
I don’t believe any other card games interact in this way, correct me if I am wrong because I have never followed magic, yugioh or other major card game competition.
Actually, there are rules. Pokemon tournament rules handbook section 2.4. "All attendees are expected to... maintain a socially acceptable level of personal hygiene...Should any attendee's adherence to any of the above fall under question, It is the responsibility of the organizer to determine wether that attendee should be permitted to remain at the event." 🤓@@Olivente
