Thank you for posting this. Really insightful. The Hunting of the Snark is one of my favourite Mike Batt albums, and even after listening to it hundreds of times, I still never fail to get goosebumps when those Horns kick in around the three minute mark on 'The Escapade'!
So great to see & hear your story, Mike, after following your Snark since its early vinyl days. Fond memories of being at the Royal Albert Hall, the Prince Edward theatre, and the Gibson guitar studio 25 years later with all those slide projectors whirring away behind us. Genius 🙂

I saw this on tv as a kid. It's what made me want to make a musical, which I'm finally doing now at age 50!
