- A lot of big changes coming! I sold the F-150 in December 2020. This was out of the3 blue but a pondered thought for awhile. I do wish I held out for summer 2021 for the higher used prices lol. It went go a good friend of mine who needed it more than me.

Evening Darren, I currently own a 03 5.4 2v, say I decide to stick with Ford for a pickup, is the 5.4 3v worth it? Or should I just go to a 5.0?
How much of a power difference is there between your two 5.4s and the 5.0?

I appreciate that! Well, I definitely say go 5.0. What a great hassle free engine. Yes I didn't ever really push mine or add a lot of mileage to it, but it ran good, sounded amazing, they are simple enough to change spark plugs on, and seem to be easily accessible as compared to the old 5.4Ls. The 11/14 were the first run and slowest of the 5.0/6spd combo due to the steel body.. 2015+ are wicked quick and nimble. The 5.4 3v was all torque, but the VCTs, spark plug issues, and exhaust manifold issues can be a real headache. Aside of that, the 04/08 depending on rust level the drivers side rear frame area is a known rust spot and a dangerous situation. If you were to find a clean and southern, paper trail and low owner count truck, it could be worth while. Otherwise, the stamina and sound, and low maintenance of the 5.0L is very hard to beat.
@@DarrenWS6 Thanks for the info. My current truck is my first vehicle I was able to buy on my own, high mileage, but from souther PA, (I live in upstate NY, rust comes with everything) no rust, 3.73 gears, new exhaust manifolds, and brake lines.
Really just need it to build my credit so I can move upwards vehicle wise, I’m not partial to any brand (especially trucks) I love the 4th gen Rams, and 11-current F150s.
I’m also a huge WS6 fan👍🏼Definitely a bucket list car for me. Along with a New Edge Cobra-Mach 1
Sad that you have to sell it I think that this is the best model Ford ever made. Love the interior. Very roomy
Certainly was a nice one. I didn't have to sell it but I am glad I did. I have two nice rust free trucks now, hopefully this week I'll finally post them. None of the trucks on the channel are here now lol

It was a real good truck, but I was debating selling it for an LML Duramax a year ago. But honestly my friend approached me to buy it.
I loved the interior and front end of the 2013-2014 f150. Especially those fx4. I wish i could afford one. It is an awsome truck. Im.sure you really miss it lol
