    Huge improvements and most importantly American made. I hope we see these on production run guitars. An installation video and a demo video would go a long way to pointing folks at the correct resource to see the benefits it brings. I also think a dedicated video on how to install these as drop-in replacements to a Floyd would be very helpful.

      We do a lot of traveling back and forth.
      One of the coolest things is Gary flew to my house and I got to show him the aria pro I dreamed of having when I was 15 back in 1985 with a Kahler on it.
      I told him about growing up poor and just staring at this guitar when I was younger just knowing I would never be able to get one but wanting it so bad.
      It was very surreal to not only have gotten this guitar a few years back but to be able to tell the person responsible for the best part of the guitar while they sat on my couch and pet my dog (one of my dogs is really protective of Gary, it’s adorable).
      He told me that as a farm kid in Nebraska he grew up poor too and that he was honored that I and so many people played his bridges.
      Gary Kahler is just the closest guy! I’ve never met anyone else that has accomplished so much and is so humble and appreciative of other people.
      You can definitely expect to see Kahler and Rexylab doing a lot more together. And like Gary I am honored that you enjoy the content I put out. I love guitars and nothing brings me more joy than sharing everything I know about them with like minded people.

    Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but are you guys marketing the Steeler as the most advanced tremolo ever made, or the most advanced “Strat style” bridge ever made? You guys got a lot of different bridges on the website and when I build my guitar I want the most advanced bridge, I’m not worried about the routing shape since I’m still picking the bridge I want to put in it. I DO know I want a Kahler but the options are a little tricky to grasp 😅

    • @REXYLAB

      Get a Steeler Professional with the auto-latch option. You will tell everyone who doesn't play one they have the second best bridge.
      So yeah, it is the best 6 string fulcrum bridge made to date made 100% in the United States with the most cutting edge technology available.

    • @REXYLAB
      @REXYLAB  8 місяців тому

      Good question! The Steeler will fit in the route of a Floyd. The stud spacing is the same on a Spyder and a Steeler as well as a Floyd but the studs are different. You might need to do a little work to fit a Steeler where a Spyder was but if you do it shouldn’t be much.

    Will the Steelers fit a standard Floyd recessed route? And will Kahler have a routing template available if not?

    • @REXYLAB
      @REXYLAB  6 місяців тому

      One of the Steelers with the big brass block option should drop right in. We have two brass block options, one that is just a huge chunk of brass like everyone else does and one that is countered and actually gives more travel than a standard block. These both come with stacker plates so this option will fit a guitar that takes a 32mm, 37mm, or a 42mm length block.
      The Auto-Latch option will require some modification and the standard block might. Both those options are 37mm only (for now, we are working on an Auto-Latch with plates to make it universal too) the standard block will probably be done once we sell out of our old stock.
      Now, the Auto-Latch and the standard block were based off a fender cavity (because that was the industry standard, but there is no standard anymore) so now those two might need the cavity modified to fit. The big brass block option actually comes with a Floyd Rose turbo arm that you can upgrade to any Floyd Rose sized aftermarket arm.
      What kind of guitar are you putting it in and what block option do you want? FYI, the professional with the Auto-Latch is my favorite bridge ever!

    • @alanwoodwind5265
      @alanwoodwind5265 6 місяців тому +1

      @REXYLAB I ask, and I think I may be right on this, but a standard, Original Floyd, has a slightly offset route. The treble string side of the tremolo stick out by the posts more than the bass string side does, but the Steeler is more symmetrical.
      I was more thinking top side of the guitar and not the block routing, but the body top of the tremolo.
