Omg! This is the very first time I've come across videos on how to fix leaks on older mobile homes with metal roofs your videos are so straight and on point... Please! Forgive me but I Love that you do NOT "Beat around the bush nor waist time B-S'ing?" Plus you step by step explain and show your work...and "Wa-la!" The work speaks for its self... Bless your heart and Thank you, Kindly! Now all I need is: * Silver coat protection ??? * Brush * Cordless wire grinder * name??? Dark stuff you use? * name??? White material used when coating with dark stuff???
Last summer I put a torchdown roof on my boathouse. This year I would like to build a screened porch on top of it . I haven't been able to find a video of attaching walls onto a torchdown roof without making the roof leak. You should make a video of that. Would be very helpful thanks!!
Preperation is key. If you don't prepare the surface nothing will stick to it. I have a bullet hole right now i patched that is still leaking on a metal roof. I didn't prep it good enough, so i have to go back and fix it.
Here's a helpful tip to everyone! DO NOT use Turbo Poly Seal that this guy promotes! That stuff works okay, but it's insanely expensive. $200 a gallon, and it doesn't work on all surfaces, for example not on all plastics or rubber. Buy Blackjack Eterna-kote Silicone, it's $300 for 4.75 gallons. It works on more surfaces and has the perfect texture and surface for repelling water. The BlackJack Eterna-kote Silicone is way better and way cheaper!!
I have a mobile home with flat tin roof if i remove the rust and tighten or replace roofing screws and use super sylicone sealant and i able to use a roofing seal that you roll on as long as its sylicone or can i use any roofing sealant
