Love your focus on teaching imitation in this way as well as your emphasis on the fact that many children won't be ready for this yet and that we'll need to back up to working on receptive language and social skills in some children's cases...And even on reacting to events in the environment (prelinguistic skill 1) in a few less common cases. We have to meet a child where he or she is and I love that you remind everyone to do that by picking the level where you have a few examples and going with it from there by expanding upon that level as your starting point for therapy.

These strategies helped my daughter too. Now i need some source for fine motor skills. Laura, any suggestion for fine motor activity? Any website like yours?
Any activities using the pincer grip are good (thumb and fore finger) sorting beads from one pot to another, threading cotton reels on some cord, playdough, elastic band boards, peg boards, nuts and bolts screwing, popping bubble wrap.. anything that exercises those finger muscles. I created a board of bottle tops super glued onto a wooden board the children loved that. That's just a few ideas I've used it school.
Please suggest how to teach kids to express the activities they are doing. For example. How to make him express and say that he is playing, jumping, eating etc..

Hi!Therapist here looking for the CEU's. I don't see #398 listed in the CEU section of your website yet. Do you add them gradually? Thank you!

I'm in the UK I'm sure you said in one of your videos you had a book available, the only one I can find is about autism...
I have 6 treatment manuals exclusively available at teachmetotalk.com
I paid for the course and got my CEU's, but never received an email with the handout. How do I get it?

What about where kids have less than 10 consistent words but have difficulty imitating actions and sounds on command?
