To think Hyrule Warriors was Young Link's first appearance in an HD graphics game no matter the fact that the Wii U came up short on popularity with very few great games is great and all but his design in Smash Ultimate is what really reawakens the undying hope that both Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask get HD remasters like Twilight Princess and Wind Waker did.

I like how Young Link in Ultimate fights the same as Link from Smash 64 to Smash 4 and has Link's original on-screen entrance animation due to Link getting a Breath of the Wild makeover. In fact, seeing Link get his Breath of the Wild appearance in Ultimate makes him more distinguished from Young Link and Toon Link respectively.

Young Link's Trophy description in Melee refers to him as the "True Link" saying in the first Zelda Game (Not Skyward), Link was also a young child, so if this is the case Young Link is the First chacter in Smash history to be a "Clone" who has starred in their own title, one that came after Ocarina of Time which is the game Link came from. The only other chacter as of Melee who has starred in their own game is Roy because His game during the time didn't released until after Melee.
I was really hoping that Young Link in Ultimate received the same treatement he got in HW, having more of the Majora's Mask representation instead of OoT just because he was like that in Melee.
