      Thank you.. FYI, My stuffer is still working great. Only thing I would like to see added is a feature that would lift the plunger slightly after you release the foot control while stuffing sausage. The some of the sausage mixture will continue to flow out between links.

If you plan on smoking any just read up on it, and use proper amount of curing salt. That way You won’t have to worry about bacteria. Enjoy!

      Another question. Have you tried using tubes from a different brand stuffer?

    • @gumbob007
      @gumbob007 6 років тому +1

      Have used it about 10 times. Still works like new. Very quiet operation. I haven’t used the smallest tube to really test it. No problems with the two middle sized tubes. A small amount of stuffing will continue to flow after the pedal is released. That is normal. My manual stuffer does the same thing.

    • @gumbob007
      @gumbob007 6 років тому +2

      Tubes from my Enterprise stuffer won’t work with it. Not sure what other brand works work. Our local restaurant supply has stuffing tubes but would have to bring one of mine to compare.

    I bought the 28 lb. stuffer but when it arrived the speed control only worked going up and only one speed going down (opposite). emailed them and they sent a wiring diagram.and more or less gave me the run around. Cost me to have a technician change the wiring . Don't expect any service. it does work good but I don't think they would ever honor the two year warrenty.

  • @GrandpaCanCook
    @GrandpaCanCook 7 років тому +1

    Thanks for that. I have just bought a hand-crank stuffer after suffering for a few years with using my grinder to stuff. When I am ready to move up again I 'll be looking at this one.
    Was that the actual machine noise when you were stuffing or did you turn the sound way down?
    Hoping you will be posting some more sausage videos.

    • @cajunaccent6609
      @cajunaccent6609  7 років тому +2

      The stuffer is that quiet. One of the first things I noticed was how quiet the motor was. The cylinder holds just over 20 lbs of meat. Even when it is full, it's quiet and doesn't strain to push the meat through the stuffing tube. Still very satisfied with my purchase.

    • @cajunaccent6609

      The variable speed only works in the down position. So it rises at the fastest speed, allowing you to leave your feed setting untouched.

    Thanks for the video. 2 questions from the bottom of the stuffer to the top of the gear shaft in the upper position for tank removal, how many inches tall is it.
    are you able to fill the tank with 20 lbs. of meat.

    • @cajunaccent6609

      The stuffer is 38" tall fully extended, and 26" when retracted. This stuffer holds 21 to 22 lbs of meat.. I weighed out 20 lbs of pork sausage, then loaded it and had room for a little more.

      Still running good. Made 50+ lbs of Deer sausage a week ago. It has a one year warranty. They might send you a part for you to change if needed but would have to ship it back at your expense for repair plus return shipping. Would be quite expensive due to its weight. I bought it off of eBay. Don't remember the seller but they had good feedback and price was just under $400. Shipped from California to Louisiana in 4 days.

    • @gumbob007
      @gumbob007 3 роки тому +2

      I add my seasoning mix in water. Usually 1 1/4 cups of water per 10 lbs of pork, 1 1/2 cups for deer sausage. Only 1/ 2 cup per 10 lbs of chicken. Works great. Grab a had full of the seasoned ground meat and squeeze it. It should squeeze out fairly easily. I don’t think my stiffer will do sticks because of the extra small stuffing tube. I don’t make them so I can’t tell you for sure.

    • @gumbob007

      Sadie Schornack Possibly your sausage mixture may be too dry for this stuffer. I used the smallest tube on a dry mix. It did push the meat through the tube, but in steps. It would push, then slowdown, then push again. I suspect the motor isn’t strong enough for dry recipes using the smallest tube. I have used this stuffer many times and it only happen that one time. My normal sausage mixture flys through this stuffer without any difficulty.
