Great in-depth video. Appreciate the review and comparison of these units. I’ve been starring at the LEM stuffer for a couple years now....still haven’t pulled the trigger!

Good video I agree with you LEM is better
i have a old cabela's stuffer and when the plunger is clear down, it leaves enuogh meat in the bottom to fill a 1 1/2 pound summer sausage stick that I have to spoon out and hand stuff. does the Lem push most of the meat out or does it do the same??

Good job on the review. I just got the 11 LB Cabelas Stuffer. I do dont like the wing nut in the meat. But the lem screw type, they come lose while using. Why didnt you remove the white plastic film covering on the Cabelas stuffer. It is all stainless.
He was always planning on returning it, so he didn’t want it to get scratched up
Have you tried the LEM stuffer with the smallest tube yet? I have the same setup as the 11# Cabelas stuffer and when I do snack sticks the gears skip. Thinking of getting the LEM but there is really no videos of it in action.
I have not tried it with the smallest tube but I have tried it with the next smallest tube, and it worked great! LEM advertises that it comes with 1/2" and 5/8" tubes. Those are the outside diameters, the inside diameters are 7/16" and 9/16" respectively. I was using 19mm collagen casings and they worked really well. I am sure I could have used the smaller tube with no problem. This was using AC Leggs snack stick seasoning which calls for a little more than the minimum recommended water content for the stuffer. There was no slipping, it just powered right through and I did 25 pounds of sticks in about 15 minutes, with refilling once.

The Cabelas are notorious for no parts. I had a Cabelas 20# vertical where the seal broke..3 years old no parts available..avoid. Lem has parts for 10 years.

I'm comparing meat grinders right now. You think LEM is better than Cabela's in that area as well? I only grind around 100lbs of meat a year so I don't need the biggest & the best....just want good quality. I'm using the grinding attachment for my Kitchen Aid mixer right now and it's just not satisfactory AT ALL.

Brent Peyton Yes! It works great. I have meant to put another video together of it actually stuffing but never get the camera out when I'm using it.

Great review , did you try smallest tube with cabelas motor , I'm about to order cabelas motor but after reading reviews which is not the best I'm still thinking what to do , I have a their new vertical 11lb stuffer ...

Very good video.... just tried stuffing snack sticks with my #1 Cabelas..... as you can tell I’m watching stuffer reviews now!😂..... fyi- don’t recommend it!!!
