After a serious injury last August, and through a unique set of circumstances here in San Antonio, I was given the walker that Ann B. Davis owned and used during her last years. It still has her name tag on it.
I had the wonderful opportunity to run into her when she was living with her religious order in Denver in 1987. I saw her on Ninth Ave. outside a hardware store dressed in a habit, and I said, “aren’t you Ann B. Davis?” She graciously acknowledged my observation and we exchanged niceties for several minutes. A lovely and beautiful soul. RIP with your Savior.
She looked, talked, and had the heart of my grandmother who us kids called "Nani." Growing up in the 90's my sisters would watch this show all the time (we had heavy influence of shows like this because of our parents) and it always felt like Nani was there on the television with us. She passed in April of 2009, one of the most difficult years in my life. I don't know why I am writing this here but I felt compelled to, I miss them both!
Ann played such a caring and loving housekeeper on the Brady Bunch and she always had a big smile. She was quite a lady and she gave us many episodes of laughter on the Brady Bunch. Ann you were so loved by your fans and will be missed.
In the episode of the Brady Bunch where Alice was jumping on the trampoline, a friend caught where she accidentally said "Your turn Eve", instead of Jan.
R.I.P Ms. ANN. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU FOR THE GOOD TIMES YOU GAVE ME, WHILE WATCHING YOU ON THE BRADY BUNCH. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU.
God bless you, Ann B. Davis. THE BRADY BUNCH was a innocent yet funny show in a time when clean humor worked, and became a memorable part of 60's baby boomers' youth. I'm saddened to hear of Ann's passing but blessed to learn of her commitment and service in a Christian life. Jesus Christ forever. Amen.
My condolences I don't know she has family I want to see this she will be greatly missed my my my condolences to anybody knowing she has family and taxes I seen her gravesite I was just watching on UA-cam I was a little kid when The Brady Bunch came out still like that still to this day you don't have to be 30 you know you can tell clean jokes without being in a skein inappropriate inappropriate scenes ain't nothing wrong with humor
Rest in Peace, Ms. Davis. You will be missed but never forgotten, most especially as Alice the Housekeeper for the "Brady Bunch," which was my very favorite childhood show.
Awesome that she is saved, but I still choked up. I think either I forgot she passed a few years ago or didn't know. Wonderful lady, loved her on that show.
R.I.P. Ann B Davis aka Alice you will be missed. Thank you so much for all the funniest good times and memories on the BRADY BUNCH. That's one of my FAVORITE SHOWS. I'm 50 now, and I don't get tier of witching it. We love you Alice and you will never be FORGOTTEN R.I.P.
Ann B. Davis in 1988 boarded the cruise dining ship I was a bartender on. She was so gracious and kind. She gave out ink pens with her name and church printed on it. Sweetie pie.
I am 57. The "Brady Bunch" may have been just a tv show but as a boy who was unwanted, neglected, raped for years...Alice, Carol, Mike taught me a lot about life. RIP Ann, Florence and Robert. ❤
I love Ann B. Davis 💚 a great lady..I'm so glad she was a born again Christian 👍😀 Rest in Peace beautiful angel 😇🙏❣️ Thank you for sharing yourself with the whole world 😂 you were much loved 💚
What made Alice so special was that she was a "Asset" to The Brady Family. Not because she cooked and cleaned but she was a Confidante to The Parents and a Pal to the kids. There wasn't a one of them that she didn't do something nice for. Helping Greg get his Job back as a Delivery Boy, Helping Marcia get her Dress for a Dance. Helping Peter organize a Party that nobody came to, Giving Jan a Locket to show how Cool being a Middle Sister can be, telling Bobby that he was loved even though things changed in the House with a New Mother and Three New Sisters and making Cindy the Fairy Princess Dress.
Are Florence and me the only one's who were chocked up seeing the clip from the Talk from Ann? RIP to everyone's favorite housekeeper Alice played by the incredible Ann B Davis.
My untie Dot looked just like Anne B Davies who had 6 kids including my self who spent her time helping others and going to church ⛪ God bless 🙌 these women ❤🙏 kiss 💋 Amen
Ann B. Davis (Alice Nelson)............ May 5,1926 - June 1, 2014 Passed Away At The Age Of 88 :( ............................................... P.s & Thanks For Uploading This Video Entertainment Tonight!
I don't know if I want to believe in God anymore. She lived a long healthy life in service to God and have her live end that way? Throwing away CD's from Impending Doom, X-sinner, Affector, Bjorn Stigsson, Deliverance. See ya.
So funny. So nice and so beautiful. She made the Brady Bunch more watchable. From the hands of the world to the hands of god. She is with her savior now. R.I.P. Ann B
She was one greatest actor. Enjoy watch Brady bunch show all time. She right don't make show like this one greatest show. See put on Blueray dvd in Target stores and Walmart set. Wonderful show.
One of my favorite trivia questions was,"Who in the Brady Bunch won an Emmy?" Surprisingly, people guessed Ann B. Davis even before I told them her two emmys weren't for the Brady Bunch.
I believe she was a lesbian who retreated into the life of being a Christian nun and that was her way of staying clean so to speak....She was great and I love her to this day.
I have a Alice's Brady Bunch Cookbook for free cause it was set into the garage on top Incase someone wanted and there were other old cookbooks, but they were so so.😁

It's so hard to lose these ladies, Ann and Flo !

❤ Why they don't make shows like that anymore --- The producers don't have the creativity they had back then. A real shame. RIP Ann. ❤
Loved her! She was a lot of fun on the show. She was family! May she rest in peace.
I love to see people turn to Jesus. Especially flawed people, as we all are. She was an American treasure and now a heavenly treasure.
That's pretty awesome to find out, she's a Born Again Christian. I will see her in heaven! 😊

Ann was always kind.
Alice was the BOMB!!!
Let's be honest. Alice (Ann) ran the Brady household and raised the kids. Alice was very much the strongest link on the show.
Who was pashing at the table 2:34?
We will miss you Ann ( Alice).
Met her once I was 16 years old in 1980
I believe she was a lesbian who retreated into the life of being a Christian nun and that was her way of staying clean so to speak....She was great and I love her to this day.
I agree they never say she was romantically connected to anyone ever! That would have never mattered to me if she was gay!!! I still love her 💖
@Diane Newman But I assume you've had at least a couple of romantic relationships with men whereas Ann apparently had zero.
I have a Alice's Brady Bunch Cookbook for free cause it was set into the garage on top Incase someone wanted and there were other old cookbooks, but they were so so.😁
Neat, neat lady - in every possible way.
I always figured she was a sweet lady on and off camera.
