  • The first of four videos has finally come out!
    Part 1 Preparation
    Part 2 Engine Disassembly
    Part 3 Engine Assembly
    Part 4 Finishing the bike
The barrier of entry is quite high and I wanted to be sure
to share everything this kit needs before you
spend a few days and $1000 installing the kit.
    In this video:
    1) Prior recommended equipment
    2) Ring gapping issue
    3) Post installation adjustments
    4) preparing the bike for engine disassembly
I made work cards so I have something to follow during the installation of this kit. During the installation I edited the ones I made and made other cards as needed to have a concrete plan to share with you.
Bag explanation: 8 gallon sized bags and label 4 of them.
I bought 24 quart sized bags and subtituted 3 bags to equal 27.
The last gallon bag is to hold the head cover, Now parts bag 26.

Great video. You asked for comments...the coloured instructions were sometimes very hard to read. Perhaps white script on a black background at the bottom of the frame??

I wondered if that was going to be an issue. I may have to consider that in the future.

Fantastic job, very well organized and neat. Congrats for that and thanks for sharing. I have an Himalayan but I always have the doubt if this is worth it. I'm really curious about the benefits both on performance and cruising speed.

No, I still have the CAT. I’m looking into getting the Delkevic full exhaust this November, they have a sale on Black Friday.

@@Mytwistedvoices Was it worth it? How was the torque/offroad performance after?

    • @Mytwistedvoices
      @Mytwistedvoices  2 роки тому

@@MrRiotpopper Simply put, it provides increased power all over the spectrum. It is provides power everywhere, yet remains to have predicable throttle response. My tests show the increase in torque also has lower RPMs at similar speeds (with the 16T already installed). I have yet to break the 80 mph mark on straight ways. But it seems like it will hold 70-75 mph better than before. I'm not aerodynamic either and every little bit counts. I don't take it off road but the low end torque is definitely there. I am trail riding it in Canada in June. I am trying to make the last video but I have to find a 410cc owner and swap bikes. I do have an update video and the sound is incredible. I should replace the exhaust but the stock exhaust sounds like a growl. There is an update video there and I will submit another update video in a week or two.
