    I am laughing because I have never, in my life, heard such strong views about lawns, it's such a random topic to have a rant about lol I have to admit though that your opinion is valid, so rock and succulent that space! Don't forget to put some cat grass in somewhere for Sam though : )

      lol that's true. gotta keep him happy haha. i wish i could do succulents! i think unfortunately it gets a bit too cold for most succulents outdoors in the winter. but there are definitely solutions! hehe

    I had a really large, dark spot of hyperpigmentation frozen with liquid nitrogen too. It was so worth it, mainly because it was covered by my insurance vs spending thousands on laser treatments. It’s been a few years and it’s still light. If you’ve ever been on birth control I’ve heard that can cause melanin to clump together, but I can’t actually back that up with science. Lol I can say for certain having kids will really eff up dark spots/melasma.

      totally! the LN was like super inexpensive. i was thinking the derm woudl recommend laser treatments which i was prepared to shell out for, so i was really surprised when she suggested this treatment i had never heard of before!

    Cryoablation...I had it in November. Worth the money! I had a little lentigo solaris and I hated it.

    • @LogicvsLuxury
      @LogicvsLuxury  6 років тому

      Yah! It was also very cheap for me. I remember it being 40-60. I mean, it is just dabbing my face with some LN so shouldn’t cost so much hehe. But I was thinking they’d say laser treatments so was very pleased that a one time LN touch would work. I had never heard of it before my derm suggested it. That said, it was months of concern that I’d permanently damaged it even more. Now it’s great.

    Absolutely my kind of video. 30 minuets longgg😝. Did your insurance cover your dermatologist appointment? I have a very bad hyper pigmentation on my bilateral cheeks but I have kind of ignored it because it acts as natural contours when I apply makeup. I probably wear makeup once/week so maybe it’s time to visit a dermatologist.

    • @LogicvsLuxury
      @LogicvsLuxury  6 років тому

      The derm visit was covered by my insurance but the treatment was not. However for my spot the treatment was only like 40-60 (I can’t remember). If you have a bigger spot I’d say the LN probably is not the best solution bc it was basically freezing off the skin and leaving a wound! So may be risky for larger areas. May be worth seeing what the derm says if you have coverage for a visit! If you don’t, a derm visit is not crazy. 100-200 our of pocket I think.

    Could you do a review on the Dr. Brenner Vitamin c serum when you get the chance? The ingredients look really nice and kind of on par with the Timeless Vit c serum/Skinceuticals Vit c serum. And if you could cross compare with those products or even the DE Vit c serum you’re still using, that’d be even more helpful! But again, when you have the chance :)

    • @LogicvsLuxury
      @LogicvsLuxury  6 років тому +1

      Hi! Thanks for the suggestion. I have never heard of them before. Hard to find too much info (like who is dr. Brenner?). Have you been using it? Price point is same as Timeless so I’m less eager to buy!

      Joanna's Logic vs Luxury yeah I never heard of him or the brand either, I literally just stumbled upon it while stalking affordable Vit c serums on Amazon lol. I tried to look for reviews on reddit immediately afterwards and nothing came up. The reviews on Amazon look great but then again, I can’t tell if they were paid for reviews since I’ve never heard of this brand before. But they do sell a trial size version of the serum on amazon for $2 with free shipping if you’re a prime member! It says the trial size is supposed to last 2 weeks

    You should try out the skin care/Beauty brand “Pixi” and review it. It can be bought at Target and at least appears to have quality skin care ingredients

    Girl, the lawn struggle is real. I always wanted a home with a green lawn and when we finally got an apartment with a little backyard, I learned how much work it is. Now I rarely use the backyard because I just don't want to deal with the upkeeping. My husband does all the lawn work basically, but he always reminds me how much I wanted a backyard back in the day lol.

    Thumbnail made me laugh 😄 Having a lawn is the default in Norway too, but at least we don't have to stress with watering as much 😅🌧Just a thought, but maybe your lawn technically IS made of grass, but a different (more wild😂) type of grass? After all, the grass family is the most widespread plant family in the world 🤓🌍

    • @LogicvsLuxury
      @LogicvsLuxury  6 років тому

      Haha yes! It is a type of grass. I have narrowed it down to crabgrass or ryegrass or rescuegrass (all looks the same 😑). Anyway. It’s true. I can just let the back patch be. Hehe

    ...just came back from my yearly visit to Paris and discovered all the toxic ingredients in La Roche Posay and other French brands - was a huge turn off - how do you feel about it... mineral oils and such??

    • @LogicvsLuxury
      @LogicvsLuxury  6 років тому +4

      Mineral oils are not toxic. There's no evidence for this, so I would just check the sources of whatever you're reading. There's a lot of misinformation perpetuated especially by stuff like "natural skincare"--whatever that means. For the most part, it's all marketing hogwash.

    • @alundy1
      @alundy1 6 років тому

      there is lots of evidence about mineral being toxic. I am a professor and researcher... Looks like you may need this information - beautyeditor.ca/2014/10/16/petroleum-mineral-oil-skin-products - this is only a bit of information about this. Be informed and be careful. All the best to you...
