I was a lost kid. A youngin bumping early cudi. My life was in shambles as a kid. He was there when no one else was. He taught me a lot. This new era of cudi was hard to understand. Then it clicked to me after this album. He’s in a better place. As a now 27 year old. So am I. It brings tears to my eyes remembering all of those hard times. It’s hard to stomach some of music he used to make because of what it represented for me. Triumph over tragedy. Don’t worry. God gotchu. I’m coming for that feature cudder. For anyone struggling, I promise there’s light at the end of the tunnel. Because I never thought I’d ever be alive to see it.

IDK what to think about the "new" Cudi. He really impacted my life, MOTM 1 & MOTM 2 are still the most important albums of my life. But after these albums I became less and less interested in the newer projects. The WZRD Album was cool, Indicud had beautiful moments, Entergalactic was actually quite decent but even MOTM 3 never hit like the early stuff. Cudis exploration of newer genres like trap just isn't something for me, I like Cudis more alternative stuff. I honestly just really didn't like INSANO, and I really feel akward listening to this album, I just feel so disconnected to him... But if people like it I'm really happy for Cudi, he's a great individual and his music really made me how I am today, wish you the best for the future!

I'm glad Cudi is finally happy, but I feel like his perception of how good the album is doesn't match reality. The lyrics are shallow, predictable, and at many times indiscernible. I know we'll never get another MOTM 1 or 2, but I miss the deep, introspective Cudi albums (and no, that doesn't mean I want him to be sad again).

Insano will never be on the same level as Indicud. There’s nothing on Insano comparable to Immortal, Young Lady, Just What I Am, Unfuckwittable, Red Eye, Mad Solar, or even Cold Blooded. The only similarity is his aggressive delivery on some of the songs. But at least on Indicud, the lyrics made sense.

@@GarrettHill_ that's a good take. I made a vinyl review of insano on my page. Let me know what your thoughts.

Insano and Indicud are both good. I'm not saying they're the same album or one Is better than the other. I'm saying they're both similar vibes. Up beat, positive and energetic. Compared to his other projects.

This album sounds like more of a mixtape with all the dj shout outs. It sounds like the promo for the actual album. My fav song on Insano is X & Cud.

Cudi, I appreciate this interview. A lot of critiquing being done by people who are stuck on the old you but in reality life doesn't stay the same we as people forever change and this is perfect. I haven't listened to the album all the way through but I came to the listen to this interview all the way through first to give myself a chance to hear your perspective. I love Man On The Moon 3 and Entergalic. A lot of people hate on those tapes, but truly I see so much growth within you as an artist and as a person. This really gives me courage to continue to be the best I can be within my own right. If anybody is reading this. Take time to think about what I am really saying. This isn't about likes, this is about giving our humans their flowers and being appreciative.

I turn 26 on Monday, the lyric’s “really hope I get to see 30” has resonated with me since I was 16. Knowing Scott is turning 40 makes me smile from within and gives me a glimmer of hope. CUDI FOREVER!

If kid cudi made a dance/party with a bit of darkness album that would be crazy. Similar to drakes “honestly, never mind “ album mix with Yeezus. That could compete with world wide artist like bad bunny. Idk I just a thought I had lol🤷🏽‍♂️
