because of this podcast I got into Joe. I was looking for Cudi interviews witch were very rare at the time and then this whole podcast popped up.
Stay strong, stay alive, stay being the man who inspired a generation. Much love xx
Really needed to hear this a year ago, luckily we made it through. I feel for him too much
It’s 2019 Get CUDI on there again rogen! He’s grown so much since!
Finding this right here, right now, was a blessing.
Totally feeling restless irritable and discontent.
Felt like god put me in a meeting with cudi and Rogan when I needed it lmao
Yo MOTM3 dropped and still this podcast epiccc
I keep coming back to this. Cudi is just so wholesome man!!
Kid Cudi is incredible man, no other way to say it.
This is a damn good clip. We need Cudi back on JRE soo much has happened since then in his life.
Kekarot didn't he get killed in California 🤔
@@1stborn114 yea hes been dead for a couple a years now
@@johnvarnell8001he's still alive and kickin
We need a 10 years Anniversary episode!! 🎉🎉
Bring him back on the show!
Wow, two real authentic dudes right here. I keep watching cudi and he always keeps it 100, I feel like by hearing him and watching him my body feels less tense from keeping up my own front. Watching him I feel like i can just let it all go.
Please bring him back joe.
One of the reasons why I became a dedicated fan, this interview is as real as it gets.
This is up there with the best discussions regarding drugs, fame, and personal growth. Glad I found this.
speaking as a random kid from minnesota.. cudi is one in a lifetime for sure
GET CUDI BACK ON! The man has a good pace and way about him and he's genuine. Forget drama and fake people. No matter what people do they should always be called by their name and not a label. Who are you to feel you have the power to forgive someone for what they do to their body. I feel this guy. What a damn boss
I love how he overcame his addiction, he is such a nice dude.
Scott, I did the same things when it came to my father. He went to jail when i was 10/11 and when i wrote my first letter to him about a year before he got out and i was finally allowed to talk to him because my mother passed and she was the only one keeping me from talking to him. In that letter i was proud to tell him i smoked marlboro reds JUST LIKE HIM! I never sent that letter i wrote another one knowing that wouldnt make him proud. I had my last cigarette 2 weeks ago and going strong. Im 10 days sober from marijuana and alcohol (habits picked up from my father just cuz i remember he smoked and drank(jose cuervo gold) I also relate to you on the level that ive always had a supportive mother and i believe in myself no matter what i do. Thank you for your music and your ability to inspire!
He’s grown even more since this and so much of the youth would love to see him on the show again
"working on some things with kanye in hawaii" aka one of the greatest rap albums
This podcast is from way back before he ever worked on Kids See Ghosts
@@0scarWalsh I was talking about mbdtf, which I believe is what he's talking about
@@charliethee4667 Oh nevermind then, the timeline roughly lines up for that. I've just seen a couple other people in these comments making that mistake, so I assumed you were another one.
@@0scarWalsh all good I understand
@@0scarWalsh yeah all MBDTF was recorded in a hotel room in Hawaii in private because of Kanye’s controversy at the time with the Taylor swift incident
Ghost is my favorite song by him. Such a great story in that song like all of his
Kid cud 🐐🐐🐐🐐
Cudi’s music makes the world a better place, there’s few people rn that do it like him. a real goat
Cudi helped me rediscover myself and my true calling. Forever grateful to this amazing artist.
I was hearing Day n Nite Last night while stoned asf and I starting crying my eyes out. Never felt so connected to a song and so relatable
This was me with “too bad I have to destroy you now”. Never felt so connected to a song before that one.
So insane how many similarities there are in the experiences of addicts, regardless of the substance of abuse. I was a pretty heavy alcoholic for roughly 6 years and I can still relate to quite a bit of what he's saying.
Cudi your amazing man, I cry to your music because it hits my heart and soul. Please keep making music!!
interesting to see joe laugh when cudi is being serious about topics. shows how much he has grown with his podcast.
This just validated me to be changing my life for the better
man I relate to cudi so much. a lot of people do. when he was talking about when you do drugs you either do them alone, or you do them with people. he would stay in and do them alone cause it felt more safe. less judged. I felt that. I did that. I am with you cudi. addiction is a son a bitch. this guy is such a positive influence.
One of my favorite episodes ever. Love Scott Mescudi
One of the most influential rappers ever
Day n night was when I became a big fan of his. 2009-2020 I still listen to that song.
Real shit and surfin
basic ass song
Kid Cudi is a legend. A master of his craft. He's saved 2020 with his new album. More Cudder.
Joe "its a weird thing" rogan

Scott, you are truly one of the most beautiful people I've ever had the pleasure of coming across. I love you, infinitely. ❤️❤️❤️
his description of 'trifecta' is on point. for me its the combination of a few things that bring me to a place that feels 'correct'.
The most genuine guy I’ve ever seen! What a guy 🙏🙏
If anybody dealing with addiction just know youre not alone at all ❤️❤️❤️
Cudi is my favorite person ever
Joe needs him back on. I don't even care for his music, but he's a smart down to earth guy.
This is one of my favorite JRE
Kid cudi is so real, his music is dope and doesn't have a massive ego..
Talks real shit in this and much respect
Im so glad I listened to this and read some of the comments, I started smoking weed in 2018, and 2020 after a real stressful life event, I started depending on it to help me deal with the stress, I’ve been contemplating quitting
This helped me alot
This man made music for the soul , one of the legends In the game ... this guys means a lot to people who listen to him🤟❤️
Thanks for sharing, Kid. The ole stimulant-alcohol-pot combo is wild. In the end though you realize you're doing all that shit just to feel like you would, when they all work as intended, completely sober.
Take notes, youngins.
Sober but at the same time, ZIIING! It really is a balancing act which makes no sense at all.
Spot on, sir.
You think you are sober but in fact you are straight zooted. Great feeling
Ah yes the good ol dexamp binges smoke 1g of good kush 2 hours after takin em... Then take more because I wasnt 'sharp enough'.
Yes lads just go for a run in the morning, show ur gf/wife some love when you return.. And eat well. You'll have an amazing day
I freaking love kid cudi, Scott, i hope you have a good grasp on your demons and I’m praying for you. Much love, your fan
So happy to hear of another person clean. Addiction is hard I'm currently suffering from Crystal meth and even when I'm sober I just obsess over the thought. Much love!!
stop drugs and watch 1 second become a minute

Andrew Ambrusko that’s literally me rn!!😭
@@dynamicduo5592 you'll get through it buddy it's been about 7 months now and I've changed my whole lifestyle for the better bc of it 🙏
@Andrey Oliveira bro I thought the same way until I quit vaping and realized how much it controlled my life :/
Not a hiphop fan but new found respect for kid Cudi hes 100% real drugs are like demonic possession i give him credit im a recluse I have issues with anxiety so i know how he felt.
Damien Hughes you should give his album Man on the Moon 2 a shot. Its nothing like typical hip hop and mental health is kind of his niche
Hope you’re doing good Damien
He's gotta be the most introverted famous rapper
Ryan Hermanson or Kanye West
Nah Andre 3000 or Eminem
roddy rich he made an album about him being anti social
Jay-Z
Who Asked disagree on the cudi part
get this man on again please, hes a great influence on the world and has plenty of interesting stories.
The timing of this video in my life is unreal!!!!🤯 I love you Cudi you are truly a Angel and ...... I'm virtually hugging you right meow
Damn I love Cudi, hopefully Joe has him on again soon
