Hi Gokul. Please let me know how to drive properly in a SLIP LANE, like what to follow while going through a slip lane and 1 more question, is it allowed to use reverse camera while reverse parking??
Samuel Aiyar If turning left using a slip lane - give way to vehicles on your right and pedestrians crossing the slip lane; If turning right - give way to vehicles on your right, any oncoming vehicles/bicycles who are going straight ahead or turning left, and any pedestrians crossing the road you're entering. Jaik Newland I passed on the third try. It’s not difficult. Just be calm and drive. Ensure that you are slow during your maneuvers- 3 point turn, reverse parallel parking and kerb side parking. You will be asked to do either 3 point or reverse parallel parking. Make sure u do it slowly with all indicators and head check. Concentrate and don’t think it’s a test. Leave one meter gap from parked vehicles on the road. Stick to your side of the road. Don’t make positioning errors. Make sure u pay attention to signals while stopping and act when u have to without the testing officer giving u instructions. Be careful at look and go. Ensure that there are no vehicles on the opposit side whenever ur crossing the opposite side of the road. School zone maintain speed limit. Give way to pedestrians wherever. Drive up to the speed of the road. It’s very easy. Just be calm and drive
Jaik Newland very true. I was hoping for 3 point turn. They till this before the test. I felt very relieved after hearing it was 3 point turn but didn’t show any emotions. Reverse parallel also is easy but we think it’s tough. Advantage of 3 point turn is there’s nothing to show finally. You just leave. Be very very very slow during these manoeuvres. Check all sides before every turn. During reversing turn your head behind. Before starting itself give indicators wait 5 secs. Then check left right and shoulder then move. Make sure when u do shoulder check turn behind properly. Neck should look back not just at shoulder level. Being slow is the key.. all the best

Must be in a rural area. Every single ute has a massive bullbar on it. Lol. Best place to do a road test is the countryside. Lanes are simple, almost no traffic. This reminds me of my test in Moree haha
This test drive seems to be taking some where in rural suburbs and less traffic conditions so it’s seems to be easy to drive the car and pass the test drive. The real situation going to be more worse if he going to hit busy traffic.
easy when the roads are empty. here in my dmv there are three schools all close about where they bring you, busy. the roundabouts are always contested and you have to nudge your way in but in a "safe" way
Remember head over the shoulder and mirror checks etc, those were not shown in this video. There was also no Hazard Identification Test or even the Left Something Behind Exercise demonstrated in this video. I'm from Tasmania so the test may be different, however, from what I could see, this was a very easy test that didn't cover everything.
Going for my manuals test in under 2 hours and now I’m freaking out watching these videos. It’s raining pretty bad atm so I’m very nervous to say the least 😂 my fingers are crossed 🤞🏽
This looks easy, I heard many people failed to pass so I went for the logbook route, also known as CBTA but it's damn too by the book and everything has to be in order and precisely 100%. Today I'll try to focus on practicing and do a VORT instead since it looks like they only judge you by following the rules and driving safely, not by technicalities like CBTA learning.
The examiner is colourblind! They are double white lines not double yellow lines! It's been about 20 years since there were double yellow lines in non-alpine/non-roadwork settings for the middle of the road!
@@Prince077Aussie it looks too similar. I have watched thousands of city drives across the world and this is the first one I actually would mistake for a town in South Africa if I never knew the title. Btw I used “scary” as exaggeration to my statement.
@@shisuiuchiha480 I have travelled to towns in US and those towns look very similar to towns in Australia except for left hand driving in America. I have been to South Africa and you can't compare both countries.
@@Prince077Aussie you stating something different. All I’m saying is that this particular town in this video looks like our old towns in South Africa. That’s all I’m saying. Whatever you saw in the US you saw. I don’t dispute that.
This was filmed in the country town of Forbes, New South Wales. It only has a population of 9,000 and is not indicative of the traffic or roads you'd see in Sydney or Melbourne.
Pretty sure it was the same one, just on different sides, but it might have been a couple of different schools. Besides, where I’m from (in Qld) the department of main roads is located across the road from one school, and ‘down the road’ from two others, I’m beginning to think it was designed that way on purpose.
Wish my examiner was like this. The examiner I got for my VORT was some old Italian guy with a thick accent and nearly failed me because I "wasn't listening" when in reality I couldn't understand what he was saying half of the time. I still passed, managed to scrape through with a score of 91%.
Agree! I do it mine in London, passed! But much easier than the UK.No independent driving at all, no dual carriage ways , nu big roundabouts, no traffic. This test in the UK would be a fail.I noticed 2 serious, not giving way for the pedestrian at the pedestrian crossing, who was about to cross, going on wrong side of the road.Going for long time below speed limit also could be a serious. You must obey to the speed limit when the road ahead is clear, otherwise you are becoming a hazard .Going well below speed limit when the road is nice and clear could be dangerous:encouraging overtaking, road raging etcc
hey thanks for sharing the video, really will help as i got nervous with any kind of tests even i have a good driving expericne, which app or what system you used that was announcing the school zones entering and exiting can you please tell me thanks
I did my test twice. I failed for 'speaking to myself out loud' which was a little odd, as I normally did that in my driving lessons. The second time, me and the new examiner were practically talking all the way through the test and I passed with only one error !! She was really nice, the other one I failed with was a dickhead
Pffttt... this is too easy. If you are up for a challenge, try castle hill RTA in Sydney. Double lane roundabouts galore and a pedestrian crossing+roundabout just after exiting the RTA.
I passed my exam yesterday in the Netherlands. The roads there are slim as fuck and there are cyclists and pedestrians everywhere (you need to give way to them). Maybe I should have done my test in Australia after all lol.
Don't know if it's too little or too high but otherwise Its the normal really in New Zealand the restricted test is 45 minutes whereas their full license test is 15 minutes
At any time with any kind of park you need to be I think no less than 50 centimetres out from the curb but not more than 150 or it's a fail item. As for parking within lines if lines are there you must park within them if not then you just do the park and not hit I repeat (NOT HIT) the curb.

This can be a very nerve racking time for a individual to sit in a vehicle with a man or woman complete stranger and the one person who will determine whether or not you pass. I will say I didn't fail any of my tests and I am about to go and get my green ps but I will say also it wasn't without faults in my driving test it was I think 97 or 98% but I'm also thankful I didn't have to do the reverse parallel park as that was one thing I wasn't confident at nore practiced while on my l's... but with that it only takes practice and don't let the nerves get in the way and if you feel like you have stuffed up in one part please don't let it distract you from the rest of the test as I said it can be a really difficult test for lot of people.... this bloke seemed calm and his testing officer also seemed calm and polite.... some of them are absolutely ruthless with the way they test... as long as you follow what is asked and don't make silly decisions you'll do just fine.
Do we really need to use left indicator when going straight ahead through a small roundabout? What's the point? If the roundabout is big enough, then it somewhat makes sense as it feels like you are turning left near exit.
Do you have to be within 5 of the speed limit? Meaning can you drive at 33 in a zone of 40 or do you have to be withing 35 to 40 in zone of 40 and 55 - 60 in zone of 60...?

Nobody is a perfect driver, but you should be confident enough to do more than 30 in a 50 zone by the time you are going for your P's
Must be in a rural area. Every single ute has a massive bullbar on it. Lol. Best place to do a road test is the countryside. Lanes are simple, almost no traffic. This reminds me of my test in Moree haha
Can’t help but notice how wide these streets are haha
Completely opposite of our shitty roads in Norway lol
This test drive seems to be taking some where in rural suburbs and less traffic conditions so it’s seems to be easy to drive the car and pass the test drive. The real situation going to be more worse if he going to hit busy traffic.
Idk why I'm watching this I've already got my Ps had em since September
Elizabeth Hurley I’m watching this so I can do a fake vort test with my mate as I’m teaching him
easy when the roads are empty. here in my dmv there are three schools all close about where they bring you, busy. the roundabouts are always contested and you have to nudge your way in but in a "safe" way
I do it mine in the busy London!Passed😁
My hands are sweating watching the reverse parallel parking, I hope I pass my test 🙏🏼
Did you pass?
Mate, did you pass?
@@Dimmerr I did 😁
I'm just learning to drive, I'm 28 yrs old 😅. But this will give me a fair idea of when I finally do go for my greens ps 👌🏼 thank you good video
How u said a 17 year old was 10 years older then you
Remember head over the shoulder and mirror checks etc, those were not shown in this video. There was also no Hazard Identification Test or even the Left Something Behind Exercise demonstrated in this video. I'm from Tasmania so the test may be different, however, from what I could see, this was a very easy test that didn't cover everything.
OSFT Historic VLogs in sydney our hazard perception tests are online, there’s basically a scenario and you just press when you would react
OSFT Historic VLogs this Victorian Hazard perception test in done online, you have to pass that before you can go for your driving test.
Small world hello OSFirstTimer
The fly in the car was entertaining, change my mind!
ahhahaa
Turning into oncoming lane at 30:15, fail?
Thank you so much for uploading this video I have my driving test coming up soon, where in Victoria did you get your test done?
The video is very helpful. Thanks for sharing.
The Left hand driving really messes me up, lol
I have mine in a week and one day, I’ll come back then and let’s yous know how I go. update: I passed

How did you guys all go, got mine tomorrow
In the uk you can have ppl in the car with you during a test
Same with New Zealand
My test is in 5 days, I'm watching all the videos now lol. Fingers crossed I pass!
Mine is tomorrow I’m nervous 😬
How was your test..??
Ajesh P Jose u pass?
Ajesh P Jose ok I passed first time
Stripy yes I did first go
@@waseem5235 yes
The examiner is colourblind! They are double white lines not double yellow lines! It's been about 20 years since there were double yellow lines in non-alpine/non-roadwork settings for the middle of the road!
I watched about half of this right before heading to my test today.,. AND I PASSED
Follow that truck for 100 miles mate! Turn around, floor it and come back here. Job done! 🌹
It’s scary how the old towns in AUS look exactly juss like old towns here in SA. But your roads are much cleaner that’s for sure💯
Why it's scary?
@@shisuiuchiha480 I am curious to see the video of those old towns in SA you are talking about.
I think there's plenty of drivers out on the road who really should go back and get a driving test again.
Mate I know your learning but don’t go 20 in a 50 zone
holy shit I know right, dudes driving like 10-20 under on every street
it's better to go slow than fast boys. i mean yeah he was pretty slow but cut him some slack he's going for his p's
He definitely pass that exam that's all that matters slow and steady wins the race
They have failed me for that so why not him. They failed me for 50 in a 80 zone
Queen Mummy can they fail you for going too slow? Wouldn’t they just give you a warning to speed up a bit. There’s nothing illegal about going slow?
I have my VORT tomorrow morning, starting to get a little bit nervous but I’m pretty confident with it, 🤞that I pass
You pass?
test tomorrow😬
edit: I passed
Congratulations! 🎉
Driving in Australia seems like a dream. Wide roads and clear markings on the road. Nothing like driving in London UK😭
UK driving test is harder than Australia.
Depends where you are in Australia.
Sydney is dogshit
Hahahaha
This was filmed in the country town of Forbes, New South Wales. It only has a population of 9,000 and is not indicative of the traffic or roads you'd see in Sydney or Melbourne.
the amount of school zones they entered tho lol
Pretty sure it was the same one, just on different sides, but it might have been a couple of different schools. Besides, where I’m from (in Qld) the department of main roads is located across the road from one school, and ‘down the road’ from two others, I’m beginning to think it was designed that way on purpose.
Wish my examiner was like this. The examiner I got for my VORT was some old Italian guy with a thick accent and nearly failed me because I "wasn't listening" when in reality I couldn't understand what he was saying half of the time.
I still passed, managed to scrape through with a score of 91%.
much easier than the UK test, roads are so wide and roundabouts so simple. 30:15 - was that a turn onto the wrong side of the road?
It wouldn't be too quiet in the cities.
The state is NSW in Forbes if anyone is wondering
hey thanks for sharing the video, really will help as i got nervous with any kind of tests even i have a good driving expericne,
which app or what system you used that was announcing the school zones entering and exiting can you please tell me
thanks
its the car itself
yeah wouldn't that be prohibited on a test (even if it's not school zone times)
@@hugoburton5222 yeh i guess but our normal car has it and they can't tell u to turn it off cause i can't even figure it out cause its so annoying

I'll have my test tomorrow. Im very nervous. I hope i can make it first go.
You are lucky your examiner is very polite and very calm
Have you passed tho?
Sad to say 😔 better luck nextime
@Fire Lord Ozai lol
I did my test twice. I failed for 'speaking to myself out loud' which was a little odd, as I normally did that in my driving lessons.
The second time, me and the new examiner were practically talking all the way through the test and I passed with only one error !! She was really nice, the other one I failed with was a dickhead
@@theytwatcher950 yeah mine was very serious too. He doesn't even smile
I go for my test in 4 months. I want you as my instructor. You were great.
28:15 Did he end up turning off his engine?
lucky test, there was almost no car on the street!
Pffttt... this is too easy. If you are up for a challenge, try castle hill RTA in Sydney. Double lane roundabouts galore and a pedestrian crossing+roundabout just after exiting the RTA.
I did that 3 times their and i failed it still, i know that roundabout erea where it is so busy in traffic
@@raisingflowers8018 go to a different rta then you might pass lol
@@Kimberly-er4kh well i just did pass at that one
@@raisingflowers8018 was a suggestion, but congrats 🙂👍 im still learning lol been on my Ls for 8 years and only just started to learn 😅😂
Are you gate keeping driving tests?
I passed mine first time purely just by staying calm because I knew I could drive well and safely I just had to remind myself of that
What was you speed while driving on 80 kph lane?
i have my test tomorrow, I feel like i drive the exact same way as this driver so I'm pretty confident. I'm really scared though
I passed my exam yesterday in the Netherlands. The roads there are slim as fuck and there are cyclists and pedestrians everywhere (you need to give way to them). Maybe I should have done my test in Australia after all lol.
o.o that's insane
The Nether regions can be tricky to navigate. heaps of dicks
Test in 2 hours guys. kinda sorta maybe panicking just a little!!

@@mikayla4763 wow congratulations! Was it easy?
Mines in 2 hours as well I’m trying a lot to keep calm 😕
30 minutes for a driving test? Wow!
Don't know if it's too little or too high but otherwise Its the normal really in New Zealand the restricted test is 45 minutes whereas their full license test is 15 minutes
In SWEDEN its 45 min test , about 30-40 min drivning on the road.
im an extremely confident driver but im doing my test tomorrow and the test just makes me anxious as fuck
Do you have to actually reverse park in between lines? Or just reverse parallel park.. thanks
its all different depending on the place and who's taking you
I think it’s just reverse parallel I haven’t even been taught to reverse park between lines and I’m about to go for my test
At any time with any kind of park you need to be I think no less than 50 centimetres out from the curb but not more than 150 or it's a fail item. As for parking within lines if lines are there you must park within them if not then you just do the park and not hit I repeat (NOT HIT) the curb.
And on your left you'll see our native australian village, full of drongo's, dingos and what have you.

Deepak N yes size does not matter
Not necessarily, if it’s a small roundabout you can just go straight
Size matters
Deepak N if you’re going straight across you don’t need to indicate
Use to tell where you are turning in
Do you have to be within 5 of the speed limit? Meaning can you drive at 33 in a zone of 40 or do you have to be withing 35 to 40 in zone of 40 and 55 - 60 in zone of 60...?
You look like you did well, i failed my one becuase i live in a busy suburban erea in Sydney
