- The NATO Tiger units met for the third time after 2004 and 2014 at Air Force Squadron Immelmann 51 in Schleswig Jagel.
The focus of these two weeks was on air combat training scenarios. Here is a small excerpt from training day 11 in not too good weather.

Tornado has the biggest vertical stab( tailronsX2. ruder X1, flaps X8, slats X6, X4 spoilers and X1 fin which the ruder attached to IT with X2 bolts , and nuts upper and lower

Great to see the Tornado still mixing it. The RAF retired them far to early in my opinion. How is it you never see the RAF at tiger meets? Are they to stuck up and up their own arses or can’t they afford the fuel or even the tins of paint for the decoration or it could be the rest of Europe doesn’t like us. Can you blame them. Well I suggest you look up fatigue Indexing. And there in is your answer as to why we retired our heavily used on ops fleet of Tornados. As for Tiger Meets, do basic research as to which RAF units have a Tiger on the badge. Then enlightrn us with your findings😂
@@LoftybootlaceIt’s really great that there are superior experts to put us lowly amateur enthusiasts to rights. However as 74 sqd was disbanded a few years ago I cannot see the connection with the with this years Tiger meet in Germany. No doubt you will inform me😔
