I pray that 2 years later, you are still the soldier of Christ that you have been called to be. Remember what Jesus showed you and don't ever look back brother. The time is here for you and what He has for you. STAND WHEN ALL OTHERS FALL.
Hearing this lifts my heart!! Instantly I'm encouraged. Praise God for their voices, their sincerity, and for whoever wrote this song! I live in California, but Southern Gospel speaks to me.
As a boy in the 70s I searched for anything Statler Brothers. Friends loved rock so I was not cool. I have a great collection today, much of which can't be replaced. Nobody will ever replace the Statlers.
You cannot ever expect to meet s more God-fearing man than Jimmy Fortune. I've only had the pleasure of talking with him on the telephone, but it came through to me. May the Lord bless Jimmy and the Statlers, although Harold is gone now.
Terrific piano player. I love the Statler Brothers and enjoy watching that guy that plays the piano so well beating with his fingers and hands actively.
I don't mean to be rude...but that is fking awesome. I have listened to this track probably hundreds of times. And, every time, it is just awesome. And I'm an atheist!
Has any modern day band come along to fill the HUGE shoes of the Statler Brothers? Their talent is so multi-directional. Inspirational. Memorial. Funny. Loving. Sad. They have crossed the boundaries of every emotion and sense of being. And they sound great. I am relishing YT's uploads and enjoying all of the SB's songs. But, again I ask: Has anyone come along that is remotely close to this incredible talent?
Sadly, the answer is no on country scene. No modern-day country group has come that can deliver anywhere near the sound or style of the Statlers. The legendary Oak Ridge Boys are still singing in 2017. In Gospel genre, if you haven't already, check out a group called the Signature Sound. Outstanding Gospel group.
@@scottty500 Scotty: I think you might have missed the Gold City of 1986, with Brian Free, Ivan Parker, Mike LeFevre and Tim Riley, look up their Beneath the Armor. One Scarred Hand, Just Over in Glory Land videos.. I so agree about EH & Signature Sound with Ernie, Ryan Seaton, Doug Anderson and Tim Duncan what Glorious Harmony!
There is a Tribute Quartet that calls themselves American Pride, and all they do is nothing but Statlers Songs. Their Bass Singer even looks a lot like Harold, but his Bass Voice is not quite as deep, and rich as Harold's Voice was.
I wrote Jesus, Hold My Hand in October of 1971. The song was written in Flemish and translated by Fr. Vander Wallen who was a Belgian priest who served in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He helped me with Flemish language lessons.
There is no group like the Statler Brothers. Harold is sorely missed.
Jimmy doesn't get enough credit for his singing he takes lead in almost every song
For someone like me battling addiction, this song and group picks me up and helps me keep me going.
Give Christ the Battle friend let him win it for you. My prayers God Bless
Surrender to Jesus and He’ll hold your hand in the difficult times!

Wow, this pianist makes me smile as much as the Statler brothers!

Terrific piano player. I love the Statler Brothers and enjoy watching that guy that plays the piano so well beating with his fingers and hands actively.
Jesus is my savior and I love my Jesus Savior to me
Take my hand Lord lest I stumble and fall. Lead my way lest I get lost. Let Your light so shine lest the darkness blind my way. Amen

I'm not and you're right.

Just the way this song should be sung.
Starker I’ve survived many heart attacks could die on the table ❤Gospel music is a good way to pray HOPE
Wonderful!! If only I could play the piano 1/2 that good.
Kohima Harvest Church here❤
Anyone that doesn't like gospel quartet singing, needs to check their pulse !!
@Bella pegorch maybe it's because they are singing about Our Lord !
Keep focus on jesus and the Father. So easy for it to become showy. Loss of rewards in heaven.
The Statlers and Gospel music is a great combination
As good as it gets!
The BEST harmoney ever!!!!
JESUS CHRIST IS MY LORD AND SAVIOR,AMEN.
The pianist is sooooo good, how that God blessed him with such knowledge to play the piano, excelente.

JOHN 3:1-27.
LUKE 16:19-31.
THANK YOU 😇
So please become a CHRISTIAN!
@@marygrant882I believe Jesus is Who says He is, but I’m not a Christian. The Bible doesn’t require one to “become a Christian” to be saved.
So good. I wake up in the middle of the night hearing their song in my head.
I hear this song in my dreams. It's god speaking...
