Optional Boss: The Reaper (Hard)
Strategy: Once again use the Odin Thunder Reign strat, it's probably the only way of winning this fight on hard besides for the Helel + Satan fusion or having level 99 on everyone. You MUST check the turn order before beginning. If the Reaper goes 2nd, try to escape because there is literally no way of winning using this strat. If he is given a turn he will gladly annihilate your whole party with a plethora of top tier abilities.
Comment: This fight is largely based on luck, I was very lucky to land every single Thunder Reign.

@@mapleqood7658 did you scared When you Heard the chain sounds while you were playing Persona 5? Why? I mean don't get me wrong, yeah those chain sounds really give chill to spines to anyone. But unlike other Persona games, Persona 5 is the one and only Persona game that is inform and warning you to about existence of the Reaper.

Denying Akihiko's chances for an All-Out Attack was a decent strategy, as it allows the Reaper waste a turn trying to get back up, and then you just do everything else like you do.
It's kinda sad though that the best strategy involves blue balling the one who had been waiting for that moment

It's so easy in FES. It doesn't attack right away after recovery. In Portable you have to do all that and withstand his every attack
I think that's exactly why they changed it in portable. A change for the better since this didnt feel interactive to play. I just wish portable didnt cut so many corners in other areas.
Seraph Sephiroth the reaper will literally use myriad arrows and you'll die no matter what, it's crazy

Yesterday I was playing Persona fes in the dark. I won like usual in floor 6, 9 days away from the first boss. It was shuffle card so I picked the rapier with skulls and look deadly out of curiosity.... when I tell you I pissed on myself when Mitsuri said death was near. Oh my god THE CHAIN NOISES I WAS SHAKING LMAOO

my first time playing this i met the reaper on the 3rd or 4th floor. i thought it was a side boss so i attacked it. 2000 damage to my level 3 team

The best part of this fight is whiffing the Thunder Reign, leading to good ol' Reaps using Myriad Arrows and you being the only one he hits three times, two of them being crits, and dying

i think i'm screwed on this strat because my emperor link is only lvl 7 so i can't fuse odin, and i'm in winter break so i can't level it up and running out of days. not sure if i get back to school and have enough time to max it just before running out of time, but it feels like i won't.
i'm sure it's possible to beat it without odin but probably extremely difficult.
@@Jack_80 you can use Thor + Take Mikazuchi fusion spell as a substitute, you burn a lot more SP but the results are the same
I feel bad for akihiko he gets to watch everyone to an all out attack but when it’s FINALLY he’s turn he never got his chance

Ok, could someone explain how the HELL you get all crits everytime Akihiko attacks with his fists?
Probably a combination of a high luck stat, luck ring, and a weapon with a luck buff. I've been using king of swords on Orpheus until the luck stat was 70 and I crit with my sword about 70% of the time
Nah, it's just the effect of shock. If enemies are shocked, guaranteed crits from Phys attacks
Yeah, what the above said. The shock inflicted by Thunder Reign is what makes all the physical moves there crit. That's the whole strat, really.
@@SOMERANDOMPERSONNPC I had no idea that’s what shock did... the whole time. I wish I knew that.
Literally why Odin is one of the best in the game, has access to Thunder Reign which is guaranteed shock like how Niflheim from Skadi guarantees freeze, got spell master and elec+ passives, the only thing you need to make sure off is patch his weakness for wind and that could be easily done.
I was laughing the whole time when they get to do all out attacks on the Reaper for who knows times, then at the end the chain reached Aigis. I still see that moment like as if Akihiko got cucked at the very last moment. Poor Akihiko.

@@nyororin Thunder Reign was so busted back then because of these 2 reasons, 100% shock chance and shock transfer not existing in P3F.
Atlus should remake this one, this is one of the best persona game i ever played

Its not that easy in portable BTW, since enemies attack on the same turn they stand up.

I think as long as you can find out when all characters have the speed advantage, your level doesn't really matter all that much
@@promisnwekenta9703 sorry for the late reply. yeah I was the playing the ps2 Fes version and my characters were in the 70's but I couldn't stun him like he did this guy is doing but I also notice he was not attacking him with all the characters so maybe that's why I was screwing up, I actual planning on doing a female run of the psp version so thanks for the heads up.

easy way fighting it is to have regen 3 and invogerate 3. it basicly heal your hp and mp every turn.....

The hardest boss in the game is a joke in Persona.....The Hardest boss in Nocturne has no weakness takes half the damage even if you buffed and debuffed up the ass...

Nah m8,he's using the shock + high luck combo,it allows for so many crits to Knock him down,then refuses haki's attack so the reaper can't fight back
