Not just Disney, but it also helps to know the Brothers Grimm. They were the people to consolidate the various versions and retelling of various folktales that would become the classic fairytales we love today. The stories of Snow White, little red riding hood, rapunzel, and Cinderella came from various parts of Germany with no one single cohesive story. All of their stories are much more hardcore compared to to their Disney variants. Hence why rapunzal is so horny. In the Brothers Grimm version she was put through a snuggle struggle by the prince. Rapi’s Nikke model “Grimms” is a reference to the brothers Grimm.
Small correction, but the brothers Grimm didn't so much create those fairy tales as much as they collected them from a million different sources and collated them into a single collection.
That's not to take away their contribution tho. They were responsible for turning dozens of different tellings of the same story into single cohesive narratives.
Snow White, for example, wasn't a single cohesive story way back then, but based on where you lived in Germany at that time, the common story of Snow White could differ in any number of details.

They did have a teaser for Crown in the same manner they are doing with this Cinderella teaser. The 1.5 anni teaser showed a bit Crown's cape in the lower left corner of the image.

As for free character, I've been guessing Grave. An off-brand Snow White would be good for helping new(er) people push content, which is what the anniversary is for(that's why annis are flashbacks or side stories you can do without knowing the main plot)

Since Red Hood is an omni burst type of nikke that is more DPS focused, I am guessing Cinderella will be more of a Defender or Supporter focused omni-burst nikke.

If Cinderella is coming, then Grave should be the free unit, either her current version or her past version (with face reveal either of versions).
Anachiros weapons, glass slippers literally being almost like Noahs says she will be primarily a defender, if she is a multiburst defender that would be cool but i see her kit being aimed around defence possibly.
And not to try to shoot you down but wasnt Anachiros chibi model leaked awhile ago, ngl this being the next Pilgrim seemed obvious. Tho ill still laugh if the pilgrim they release is chime over Anachiro

Real talk if they give out another free Pilgrim, that's gonna be some bullshit. Its bad enough that Smol White is completely impossible to obtain. Making another Pilgrim, who are hard enough to pull as it is, thats impossible to obtain after the anni ends, is FOMO on a level that is completely predatory. I'll defend FOMO skins because at the end of the day, they are just pointless cosmetics. But a FOMO Pilgrim? Nah, fuck that.
The game is all about FOMO anyway so that's not really surprising. Both her and small white will join the many collab characters in the never to be seen again category. And I'll even add pilgrims to the FOMO talk because the rates are so low one could very well not ever pull red hood or Modernia for the entire game's lifespan.
And not rerunning skins is both a scummy thing and a very poor financial decision because newer players who missed said event pass might want to buy it but I guess that would break their FOMO streak "buy it now or it's gone forever”
