Strange that neither fighter sought to establish the teep or change up the range and rhythm. Both spent 90% of the bout standing there giving eachother bruised limbs, and to little effect. For a title bout, not the fight IQ you'd expect.
Im thinking Abdellah's constant switching threw off Verdicchio's timing a bit. Never seen Abdellah fight before but his hands are crisp. The pace was definitely very Thai, teading shot for shot.
Most fighters don’t have real fight iq. They have a game plan going in but no ability to adjust on the fly in real time and no ability to exploit opponents weaknesses/openings

Run half an hour every day to stand perfectly still for fights.
