I feel like if they actually had the washing machine go through an agitation cycle it would have cleaned a hell of a lot better.
Since he doesn’t have a hot and cold water connections, most likely he used cold water which didn’t work as intended.
I tried cleaning a top load washer that used twice a week and never experienced deep cleaning. I just add 100g of sodium percarbonate, 150g of sodium bicarbonate, and two teaspoon of non-iodized salt. I also put 20g of powdered citric acid dissolved in 1/2 cup of distilled white vinegar after 1st drain. there were a lot of black/brown stuff came off the drain hose. then we tried to remove the drum and only left with calcium deposit at the bottom of the drum with slight but loose stains on the drum that we just wiped off by tissue.
At 1:00 of the video the translation reads "look at his dick" you might want to change that. Lmao

A method that have proved effective is to use powder with percarbonates, or products similar to oxyclean in a long hot cycle, then follow with another hot cycle adding citric acid to the main wash. I know some machines are approved for chlorine based bleach too, but be careful when mixing detergents like this.

Have you watched some other videos on this subject? I've seen some where there has been a lot of crud removed by using the cleaning tablets. I mean no disrespect to this man & his test.
Dear, how do I remove the dirt that is automatically washed and especially white clothes? There are deposits in the hoses of the interior and in places that are difficult to reach And in the end your work is from the professionals
Thank you people in my house keep closing the lid when not in use witch I learned from a laundry mat you should keep it open so as to not get the smell of stagnant water. I tried the tablets they don't work I was wondering if anyone did a thorough inspection thank you this answers my question. They don't work

Have you watched other videos on YT about this subject? There are some that show a lot of crud that comes out when the cleaner pods are used. No disrespect intended towards the man who did this experiment.
@@patwagner9308I would imagine it rests solely on how bad the washer is. If you have a 9 year old washing machine and never cleaned it I doubt it'll make much of a difference. I always cleaned out the washing machine every month or 2 and got the tablet because they're a better value, another key is LEAVE THE LID OPEN!

I use tablets meant to clean a washing machine. People complain of musty-smelling laundry. I have never had that problem.

Cup of Citric acid and oxiclean.
Citric acid is an acid, obviously. Oxiclean is primarily sodium percarbonate which is a solid combination of sodium carbonate (washing soda) and hydrogen peroxide. When it's dissolved in water, it separates into the sodium carbonate and hydrogen peroxide. When it's in its solid powdered form, the hydrogen peroxide is stable and doesn't decompose like the 3% liquid in the brown bottle you can buy at a pharmacy. That's why the sodium percarbonate is used, of course. The thing is, the sodium carbonate is very very basic (high pH) and that is what helps break down and remove soils from clothing. The peroxide is very reactive and it bleaches stains away with the sodium carbonate assisting in lifting the stain matter away from the fabric. Here's where you are going wrong... When you mix acids and bases together, they neutralize and become useless. You adding citric acid and OxiClean together totally defeats the purpose and renders both of them useless. 🙃 Either use an acidic solution, or a basic solution, not both combined together at one time.
