Johnstone's Story

When Johnstone, a retired GP, was diagnosed with bladder cancer after a spin class, he didn't know if he would ever be able to exercise again after major surgery. Maggie's gave him somewhere to cry, to laugh and to be understood. That all added up to confidence to get back in the saddle.
This year we're sharing stories from our centre visitors who have used the power of the bike to support their mental and physical well-being. Maggie's are so proud to be the official National Charity Partner for the 2023 UCI World Cycling Championships, Glasgow, 3-13 August.
