I actually don’t believe that’s true, Silver fought Infinite, as you said. But that’s not all he did, he knocked out the prototype Phantom Ruby out of his grasp. If he didn’t do that, the player wouldn’t have found it and activated it. Then the player wouldn’t have been able to stop the SUN from falling onto the planet, killing everyone.
Tldr: Silver is MVP and was a Crucial Factor in winning the war.

Besides Takashi Iizuka admited in SXSW 2018 that they actually have plans for Silver, and in the SXSW of last year he mentioned that they are working on a new Sonic title, which makes me wonder if they are gonna make Silver playable in a mainline game once again.

SEGA doesn't care about the characters or their personalities, they just want money, and don't care about the plot or chronology of the series. The comics did a much better job with him, especially cuz he was underplayed in the second half of forces.
Gabileo Considering that (according to some leaks) the writers didn't even know that Silver came from the future,that's true.
Just like Infinite's identity,that was retconned/fixed by the Sonic Forces comic.

Have you forgotten Sonic is known by others for having good morals? Heck, more people payed more attention to that as they heard "The Light of Hope" song. It's still a caring franchise...!
Besides, they've actually listened to the fandom and tried hareder to please us. One of the biggest problems is that the hate is toxic (we can only go to rant about the bad things and not remember some of the things we enjoyed in the past... if we aren't aware)!
I think they care, they are just confused because they don't know what game would be most enjoyable for Sonic fans whose opinions are all over the place.
The fight between Silver and Infinite should have been grander. A fight between the only two people who managed to defeat Sonic would have been fucking awesome
Silver could only beat Sonic because he was cought off guard. If that didn't hppen Sonic would've won.
I love silver so much. He has had a good character development, however I wish there would be more interactions with him and other characters. Especially with blaze because she helps him improve his motivations and work hard when things get rough. I do like the differences of forces silver and team sonic racing silver. It’s like seeing a gentle side of him while the other is a more serious type
I mean, it's not really character development, it's closer to character convenience. I would've loved to see Silver actually develop to the character we see in Sonic Forces.
I believe a reason Silver insisted on stopping Sonic in 06 and not questioning the obviously evil Mephiles is because he had no concept of Good and Evil. He lived in a world of Survival and the idea that someone would WANT to cause more destruction wouldn’t make sense.
Hanging out with Sonic and his friends taught him that evil does exist, but also that there’s more than just survival to live for.
He actually does affect the plot of Forces indirectly. His fight with Infinite ended with knocking the Phantom Ruby prototype out of Infinite’s hands.
I hope Bryce Papenbrock does well with Silver
Also, I wonder if the Japanese fans are confused Sonic and Silver know each other since Rivals was never released there.
I wonder, too. Sonic Rivals is classed as Silver's official introduction to the characters. I didn't actually know they weren't released in Japan

they weren’t, though Iizuka says that they are since he considers Eggman Nega is in fact Eggman’s descendant, so they’re probably still canon.
The fact that he’s a descendant is also mentioned in Mario Sonic London 3DS, which may have been even more confusing.
Silver is my favorite character. Basically he’s a combination of many of my favorite characters in fiction. He’s Sonic with Trunk’s backstory, Tetsuo’s powers, Aang’s placement in saving the world, and Izuku’s Cinnamon roll innocence.
Let’s face it, he has nothing but potential. Plus, aside from blaze, he has the only different and badass powers in the sonic universe. I swear “Time traveling Telekinetic hedgehog” would have easily been someone worth playing in Smash... let alone having their own game with Sonic.
I like both of Silver's personalities to be honest, and think the Idw comics perfectly combine the two. In the comics, silver is portrayed as an innocent hero who gets excited when seeing something inspiring/that gives him hope, like when he met whisper for the first time or when he tried to plant his very first garden. But he also gets really mature (yet reckless/clueless at times) when something serious is going on. which has been shown when he was planning on rushing to help fight the zombies in one city even if he could've been needed in another later on(of course until tails stopped him). I just like how even though silver isn't the smartest (due to being alone i guess) and has alot to learn he still tries to do what's right. i hope not only does he grow mentally, but physically too (maybe get some new ESP abilities).

Quinton Flynn I agree showed Silver maturing in Forces. I want a spin off of him though. We got Shadow and Tails with their spin offs so get Silver one too. I'm just surprised Jason Griffith didn't voice Silver as well. He voiced Sonic, Shadow and even Jet but I doubt it'll come now. Besides, I feel with his maturing in Forces and some of his character from 06, he can have his own game. In fact, have him playable more often at least.
Two in fact for the Game Gear. Tails Sky Patrol but the actual Tails game to have some Sonic resemblance would be the other Game Gear title Tails Adventure
I have to admit, I went into this being skeptical, thinking "this must be a joke, Forces did almost nothing right, especially characterization. But now, I gotta say, they did an amazing job with Silver, why'd all their characterization go into the one guy who shouldn't even be there? I'm surprised at how well Silver is done in this. I wish Silver could get his own game or a new story in a later game with this personality. It sucks that while Silver gets character development (albeit mostly offscreen), everyone else loses the character development they had for the first 15 or so years of the franchise.

Also this psychic hedgehog is by far my favorite fictional character in all of...well fiction. He's really matured in personality and voice, obviously, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of him in the future.

I think what SEGA wants to do is to stop adding so many new characters and focus on improving the ones they have (well, they kinda messed up with Sonic, and Shadow somewhat improved in Forces). I believe we will still be able to see main characters improve. SEGA just needs to listen to correct people who know what majority of fans wants and how to execute it perfectly

Honestly for the modern games: i definitely think Silver, Blaze, Omega and Metal should get more screentime/love. They just have some of the most potential.
As for classic games. Mighty and Ray are now my favorite classic characters and HOPE they aren't a one time thing

Silver should’ve been the resistance’s leader. Knuckles was just awful. I mean seriously, did he really think a plan thought up in just a minute and half would work? 80% of the resistance DIED because of his awful plan and ended up relying on a ROOKIE to save the day!

Silver should not have been the resistance leader. Silver wouldn't have done any better than knuckles, though I believe that he wouldn't have 80% of their forces wiped out in a mass assault.
Though Knuckles can be excused since noone could've expected Infinite to intervene, but he cannot be excused for his reaction, or lack thereof, for 80% of their forces being wiped out.
I saw potential in silver to have his personality changed a long time ago even before forces was even announced and I think the silver we have in forces is the best silver and the one I saw in my visions

I am SO GLAD that someone other than me had the same thoughts about Silver recently. I seriously think that a Silver game is coming.. remember when that boy asked during that SXSW Q&A either last year or the year before if they would ever make a Silver game and they said that they would "love to do something for Silver" because they're "aware of how many fans he has all over the world" and Bentley Jones just released a whole ass MUSIC VIDEO for a SONIC SONG.. that's not a coincidence. Also the fact that since Team Sonic Racing they've used Adventure-esque character models but with today's graphics?? That's awesome and I feel like means we're also getting remakes of the Adventure titles and they're going back towards that aesthetic which could definitely lead to a Silver game being made. Imagine a Silver game with his character model from Team Sonic Racing along with the graphics and voice actor? I didn't like his new voice actor at first, but after I've warmed up to him and picture a Silver game with him as his voice actor I feel like he's the perfect fit. He gives Silver that "attitude" that I feel like he's been missing. Don't get me wrong, I loved Quinton Flynn, but Bryce does a damn good job and brings a great tone. And imagine the instrumental version of the new Dreams of an Absolution remix (which you can find on my channel) was the menu music for the Silver game?
i am a shadow fanboy, and see shadow turn from shadow the ultimate life form to shadow the clown is so depressing, but things look good for silver... at least
How Sega ruin Sonic Characters:
Sonic: Give him a annoying voice (Well I think it’s annoying, I prefer Jason’s Sonic) and have him make unfunny jokes.
Tails: Made him scared and weaker. Hasn’t had a modern playable appearance since Sonic 06. (Not counting the Racing games or Rivals)
Knuckles: Is now less smart and Cocky and is now more gullible than he ever was.
Amy: She is still not important. She hasn’t done anything since Heroes and the Advance series.
Shadow: Has lost all of his personality and is now just...there. He no longer is cocky or any other traits he had and is now just, The Edgy and Powerful one.
Blaze: She no longer has importance in the story of any game besides rush, or 06. She is just thrown in games just because. Even though they never explain how she got in Team Sonic Racing because she’s from a different dimension.
Big the Cat & Cream: Haven’t been important since Heroes. Cream’s last playable appearance was in Advance 3 (I think) and Big Is just a big stupid cat who doesn’t know anything. I mean sure he always was but compare Heroes Big to Team Sonic Racing Big. They are Both completely different.
Metal Sonic: Only has a remainder of his personality from Heroes. And he isn’t even IN forces. He’s just an illusion. Now Sega just sees him as the Robot Sonic. Not one of the most strongest things built by Eggman.
Rouge & Omega: Rouge isn’t Cocky and snarky anymore she just is a flirting bat. She never gets angry anymore. She always has half closed eyes. Omega on the other hand. He has NO personality now. In Heroes he only cared about killing Eggman he loathed him so much that he wanted to actually kill him. But in forces he’s just...there. Also he moves so slow in cutscenes he’s supposed to be a super fast and strong robot! He doesn’t take like 4 seconds to move his arms around!
The only characters that I think Sega has improved are Eggman, The Chaotix, and (of course) Silver. People may say Eggman isn’t threatening like he was in Adventure 2 but Modern Eggman can be menacing. His little speech in Lost World is one of the best parts of the game! And, Pollock is good as Eggman. I mean you can’t really expect a guy named Eggman to be menacing all the time do you? Plus, it’s fun to see Eggman be a little funny sometimes. The Chaotix keep getting better because they are now pretty much a staple in the franchise now. Oh and my opinion On Silver is...well watch the video.

I am partial to Jason’s version of Sonic. Especially in Sonic & the Black Knight. To me that was his best performance as Sonic.
Tails as the years went by aggravated me. In Sonic Adventure, we have cutscenes that play out mostly the same, but with different perspectives. Tails story in Adventure, had Eggman / Dr Robotnik sound very “terrifying”. The best line from his story from Eggman is “Away... before I make mince meat out of you.” Tails then talks to himself “I’m not scared... I’m not scared... I can do this.” And he goes through character arc in Adventure 2.
I feel like Sonic Team feels the need to put Blaze in as many Sonic related games as they can feasibly possible. Don’t get me wrong I like Blaze. She is my favourite female character in the series because of how competent she can be. That and she doesn’t really pertain to a certain character trope / archetype. Her voice has always been great in my eyes.
Omega though I’ll have to disagree. Omega was great in Heroes because of his dialogue. In Lost Jungle, when the fruits destroy the robots, Omega says “Destroyed by fruit... how weak they must be.” Especially when against Team Dark in a character battle, when Shadow and Rouge are defeated Omega says “Well that’s a load off my back.” That is great. But aside from that Omega hasn’t been a bad character, just very generic robot or a boring / uninteresting character.

The "annoying voice" is rather subjective. I think it's great. And the not important anymore isn't really fair either. I don't think it's that easy to have a plot while also trying to make everything character important or relevant in it.
Cream's last playable apperance was Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood.

There was one little thing you overlooked as far as Silver's involvement goes. There's a 4 part comic series of different events going on in Sonic Forces. In one of the 4 part comic series "Sonic Forces Stress Test", Silver travels back in time because his future was under Eggman's influence and control to help make sure Sonic and friends pull through the battle and to get Knuckles involved after convincing him it's not a dream from the Phantom Ruby affect and a battle with Chaos. You should check the comic series out if you haven't, they do a much better job with the writing then Sonic Team did in the game.
That line “dose anyone ells but you believe your lies” is one of my favorite lines in the in Sonic forces. Silver was grate in it if only they would have used him more instead of just let him get bet so easily. They would have left out that stupid “custom hero” thing and/or “classic sonic” and given more focus on the characters we love like Silver and Shadow.
Me and my friend have always loved Silver. I do feel bad that literally he was the most hated character in the franchise. Yet Sega really never cared for their Sonic characters since Sonic 06 so maybe we should be telling them to make them even better than this.
I agree with you,Sega needs to stop thinking about money and make the characterrs better. For example:
Sonic needs to stop being annoying and make him more aggressive or naive.
Tails is getting weaker and dumber in every single sonic game.
Knuckles needs to care about his job instead of going in rough situations.
And they need to care about the their personalities bring back the Sonic character the way that they used to be... sorry for my bad English.
You seem to have forgotten something else about the scene when Silver fights Infinite. Something VERY important. During their fight, Silver knocks one of the Phantom Ruby prototypes off of infinite which is later found by the Avatar. With that Phantom Ruby prototype, they were able to save the world. So, had it not been for Silver's fight against Infinite, risking his life to protect the world and try to stop the greatest weapon of the Eggman Empire during the war, the world would have been doomed. Silver was the one who gave the Resistance the means to finally win and overcome their enemy, saving countless lives. That makes the battle scene between Silver and Infinite even better than it already is! Silver may have made a lot of mistakes in the past, but he was truly living up to the hero he always works so hard to be in Forces! While I do wish that he and the other characters could have had more spotlight, that one scene with Silver truly was a much needed moment for his character that I hope others will recognize!
I honestly like the idea of Silver just being so bored in his timeline that he decided to go fuck around with Sonic and co. Only to find out that Sonic's world is fucked

Well back in the SXSW of 2018 Iizuka said they have plans for Silver, not to mention that the american writers of Sonic Forces and main writers of Sonic Generations and Lost World (Pontac and Graff) have apparently left the Sonic series so hopefully the next writers will have prior knowledge of Sonic and his friends since I heard Sega went through some restructurations last year.

@@federicocabrera4414 I only said that they "apparently" left the series cause at the time I wrote the comment above, Ken Pontac's filmography in a website linked to his wiki page wasn't updated, which before May said the last script he wrote was the english localization of Sonic Forces, not the original (japanese) version of the script.
At one point, during the first four days of March, Warren Graff's filmography in the same website, also linked to his wiki page, was updated and said he wrote the script of Team Sonic Racing and said his years in as a writer of the Sonic franchise were (2010-2019) while Pontac's said (2010-2017), this led many on Twitter to believe they (or at least Pontac) left the series, BUT in May 3rd, Pontac's filmography was updated and said he also wrote the script of Team Sonic Racing, like Graff did.

I feel like they need to find a balance between Silver being serious and him being naive, he’s a passionate person but he’s also naive and childish and he needs a game or something that can expand on he’s character I really love Silver and I want more of him.
Silver is probably with the heroes because his world is destroyed and he is the type of character that would try and stop other's world from suffering the same fate

Sonic forces is most definitely not a mess
I always thought he was the best out of the cast I used to watch the 06 cutscenes when I was little I think this is probably the best silver. I thought shadow was actually pretty good in forces he reminded me of saskaue Uchiha acts tuff but is still kind. Like the scene were he smiled when the sun left and his concern for omega.
Honestly, I don't think SEGA appreciates Silver as much as they should and only care about the more popular characters like Shadow. Like, even in Sonic Forces Shadow got his own dlc which I guess explained Infinites backstory but was just silly and there was no point of. Silver is honestly an amazing character and so much could be done with his backstory that we should get to see, like who his parents are or how he got his powers. As much as I love SEGA, I honestly don't think they're putting as much heart into their games, characters or stories as they used to. I don't think think they realise how much of us love Silver and how much we would love to know about his backstory! I just hope they know how much we love Silver even if some people don't. Silver is clearly, one of the best✨✨💙💙💙

This is literally the only good thing about Forces. Not to mention he actually gets off his ass and DOES something unlike everyone else since he went and fought Infinite. Plus, he actually knocked the Phantom Ruby prototype off Infinite that the Avatar later uses to save the world with. That's right. Silver is the real hero of Forces!

Ill be honest, i know people have had problems with the modern characters but i feel like the idea is there but just hasn't been executed correctly. I feel like the best example is shown in the twitter takeover and the Lego dimensions pack. I mean the characters still slightly act the same but they seem more likable and comical compared to the mainline games. i feel like if they want to continue this comical/ childish route then they should get the boom writers or tyson hesse to be in charge of the character interactions/dialouge
The twitter takeover is something worked on with the voice actors and people like Aaron Webber. They have no control over what happens in the main games. They try to have fun with the characters in different ways compared to how Sega actually writes them.
@@lorddanny2988 yeah i know...which is why i think sega should give them(along with ian and tyson) more freedom. but the lego demensions pack did nostalgia and comedy the right way. like i like how the jokes made call backs to earlier games without dragging them.
lmy personal favorite is knuckles singing his theme, and sonic getting reminded of the labyrinth zone
...i didn't realize silver did much in forces, since after 06, he felt more as a tagalong than a main character. you can find him in the spinoffs(sonic riders, sonic storybook series, mario and sonic, etc.) but in the main series i didn't see much of him except for that one line he had in the beginning
In Team Sonic Racing I like it as we get to see Silver in a situation where the stakes aren't as high as they normally are when he appears so we can see other sides of him that he would push down during a crisis

Quinton Flynn was the VA from the Colors Era I really like and preferred over the prior va. The man is very underrated. Easily my favorite Silver. He also played Raiden, one of the coolest video game protagonists.

But that has been extended from the idw comics when silver helps defeat neo metal sonic and destroyed the metal virus so silver is a great character
I have just realized just how much I love Silver's 06 model. IDK why I love it so much but it certainly looks better than Forces.
Silver is my favorite Character for many reasons I'll only name 2 tho (and I'll mostly be reffering to Archie Silver), Silver is a relatable character [to me atleast pfft] he's not too serious like Shadow hell he can have immature moments at times however he acts different during serious situations, second reason Telekinesis lol, he's creative with the way he uses his abilities in the Comics atleast
I would like they to explore his relationships with other characters more, especially Shadow. The "dad Shadow" joke aside, their dynamics were always interesting.
Regarding the last point, I feel it's possibly because the setting of TSR isn't (at least seemingly / at first) as serious as Forces's, so we can assume that this is simply how Silver is when he's not trying to save the world from something or another (be he the firsthand witness to the upcoming calamity or just another one of the members living in the present era [which wouldn't retcon him coming from the future if he just willingly chose to stay around the more beautiful present to help prosper that new timeline he would've created]).
This kind of distinction can also be seen with another time traveller, Lucina from Fire Emblem Awakening, who is of utmost seriousness during the entire plot, but is a complete goofball in the support conversations of the same game due to their much more relax nature.
The difference between someone's attitude at work and that same person's attitude on off days can be night and day, and I wouldn't be surprised if that was the intent here.

I personally love all of the versions of him. And I think him still being very naive and clueless while also being an optimist and will do anything he thinks is right makes him a much more interesting character. And I like his new voice actor a lot more than his Sonic forced VA bc Silver is still a kid. He is 14 and I think his new VA plays it off perfectly.

For what little Silver there was in Forces, still a million times better than in 06 with that shit-fest of a story.
I still liked the 06 story, and it was good that the writers took it seriously and focused on different characters. If the Forces story was given the same respect and attention as the 06 story, then Forces would have turned into a masterpiece.

It's really to a point where if any of Sega's characters are properly developed, it's an accident, isn't it?
Yknow if they had literally just cut out the whole Prototype phantom ruby out, they could have just given the OC the ability to fully push the og rubies suggesting out of their head. This making them immune. :/
I always loved silver even in his 06 debut never understood the unjust hate he gets but he has more fans then detractors, i also wish sega would go back to better implementing and expanding on thier other characters in thier main games instead of portraying these characters as incompetent dimwits waiting for sonic to save them so they can cheer him on in the background. IDW and archie did this well with the other characters especially for silver .
I think and i know im not alone in this but sega needs to hire people who are actually fans of the sonic series because getting writers who openly admit to not likeing the series or knowing nothing about the series isnt doing sonic any favors, i personally would love to have Ian Flynn and his team be hired to write a good sonic game if anyone can its them just look at archie and IDW those stories are great. Sega also needs to stop being so restrictive with its stories as well, its crippling any chance for creativity , the series has bin reduced to a bit of a joke at this point and sega should stop leaning into that with thier LoL look how bad we are shtick its not a cute as they think it is and only promotes more lazy writing and half baked games.

i agree, but i will say that silver is most certainly one of the strongest available at the time - his confrontation with infinite was really cool, but i wouldn't say that silver went into this with the mindset that he was one of the weakest
between him, sonic, shadow and knuckles, he's certainly on the same ballpark
between 06, rivals and generations, he's implied to definitely be one of sonic's most formidable allies, next to the aforementioned shadow and knuckles
I wish Silver would of gotten Head kicked like in '06.
But its nice to see Silver got better after '06.
My guess is that in rivals silver had some trust issues and did not want to pull the wait if people he thought of as incompetent.
He literally save the whole resistance by fighthing infinite,And he actually made him forgot the Phantom Ruby prototype, And the Avatar grab It, so is thanks to silver that the resistance is save
This Is a long comment about Silver’s social interactions and behavior and how I can logically explain Silver’s development between Sonic Forces and Sonic Races. Mostly based on social studies, how I’ve seen comic books portray Silver, and my own experiences:
Silvers personality in the two games mentioned, have slowly become more akin to his personality in the Archie comics where he is: a good hearted, kind, naive, and emotional character, something that the games are also trying to do for him now.
I have a theory as to why we see Silver act so deferent from Sonic Forces and Sonic Races:
It might sneak a bit into head canon area, but most is backed up by the IDW comics and my Social studies classes, so it should be fine.
If we say that Silver is a real person and not a game character written by deferent writers in each game, then there’s a lot of things that could explain why Silver acts confident when working with the others in Sonic Forces , yet seeming to be naive and out of his element in Sonic races:
One that could explain it is Experience in a social situation that is under the stress of war.
What I mean by experience, is that from what little we know about Silver’s time, we can assume that Silver is used to living, fighting, thriving and finding solutions in a situation where there’s no hope, no resources, and no rescue, ( this is something we can only assume from the environments portrayal in the games and the Comics, but it doesn’t often look prosperous, so from that I believe that the recourses could be more of a rarity than in Sonic’s time). And we can assume that since the world was ‘ruined before I was born-‘ ( Silver, Sonic 06) that Silver grew up in that stressed environment. Sonic’s friends mostly haven’t experienced the emotional stresses of a “real war zone” torn community and a world depleted from recourses, (unless you count the Archie Comics, where most are freedom fighters). Silver’s experience in that field and his abilities would have made him a valuable asset, and his word would have carried a lot of weight whenever he spoke, this open minded interaction could inspire a mutual respect. In that case Silver knows what it feels like to feel hopeless, homeless and sorrowful and could/would use that to inspire the others in the resistance, he might say something along the lines of ‘don’t give up. Everything might seem hopeless now, but that is why we are changing things. As long as we are here fighting, the world still has a chance’. Him being the realistic hope who could carrie a lot of weight, would’ve made the loss of him to Infinite an even heavier blow to the resistance, and could make the fight between Infinite and Silver that much more of a clash between hopes and darkness.
On to the next game: where Silver doesn’t get the social cues. And doesn’t show any of the honest experience he had before.
But how about we look at it a bit definitely? Let’s imagine this highly experienced character, who is optimistic even in the time of inhumane hopelessness, in a situation that is totally outside anything he can experience in his time: racing in cars.
And interacting with other people, ( silver has stated, in the Sonic IDW comics, that he ‘is so lonely, he never considered wanting to be left alone’, I’m taking that as a proof that he might not have the opportunity to be with other people at all, so he can’t be a social genius in a situation where he hasn’t the foggiest idea how people interact).
Silver might be an experienced person in a world on fire, but among friends in a social situation, that isn’t the end of the world? There he might act less knowledgeable, more curious, get overwhelmed with stuff he hasn’t seen before, ( not to mention that, he will be dealing with cultural norms and habits 200 years outdated). I think that does plenty to explain his actions and justify his confusion.
My theory of Silver’s actions in Sonic Forces can be explained by understanding human emotions, Emotions that lead to the actions, and by doing so I’ve honestly started to appreciate Silver the Hedgehog as a character even more,
For example: ‘if silver has so much experience in these war like conditions, then why would he start a fight with Infinite? Isn’t that showing that he isn’t experienced and underestimates his opponents?’ Well yes, but it’s not the first time he has jumped into combat without a seconds thought. This tells me that Silver’s realistic and logical senses take a big break when he gets emotionally invested, he won’t stand around watching people suffering and others inflict it, he acts, even if he turns out to be wrong later. He never gives up completely, he is powerful , but thoughtful, a naive, well meaning person who acts before he thinks all the logistics through because he cares. if he didn’t do anything there he wouldn’t have been the Silver we know.

If anything it further reinforces Silver looking to cooperate with the heroes from the get-go instead of picking random fights first. If only Sonic Forces was the larger scope game it should have been and included this story in the game's (severely lacking) prologue.

You can't really blame him for being gullible (in Sonic 06) I mean he was never really around anyone except Blaze.
When he found out from Mephiles that there was a way to save the world, he immediately wanted to do anything to make that possible, he didn't really even care about how suspicious Mephiles looks because he was more focused om the positives, Sliver wanted to believe that listening to him would save everything, he was in denial in regards to Mephlies's dark demenor.
Silver is my favourite of the 3, a VERY underrated character that should get a little more attention and respect
Shadows is cool however his personality recently that Sega gave him has pushed me away.
Sonic to me has felt kinda stale however I did like is personality in Sonic Boom and voice he has, this is just my opinion but his voice right know is what I think Sonic would sound like.
What about colours Ds silver was there that was his return and he seemed to be on friendly terms with sonic in that one.

I love Silver... but i didnt like that much how he was in Forces. "I am an optimist, but also a realist" Silver is everything but a realist. He never gives up, he never let go of hope. Being optimist to the very end is what he is. Aside of that, he was fine in the game.
